'Everyone in the same room celebrating the same holiday. Something's bound to go wrong.' Ryota thought to himself as he walked up the stairs to the boardroom which for today doubled up as a dining room. The usual buzz of the firm office building was gone as everyone's off for Christmas. The only sounds were coming from the direction Ryota was heading.

He stopped in front of the large wooden doors and just wanted to go back home and spend this day alone like usual. Everyone was so noisy.

'This was your idea. It was forced on you after you suggested it, but still. It was your idea.' He thought and just opened the door. The voices became louder as the door opened and there was a brief silence as everyone looked to see who arrived.

"Ryota!" Yeonhee sang and waddled over to him. He looked at her in confusion as she was wrapped up in ribbon with a big bow on her leg where her foot brace was. The only part of her that wasn't wrapped up were her hands, head, and her foot brace. When she reached him she tried to hug him but her arms weren't able to move. He caught on and hugged her instead.

"Why are you..?" He asked as he stepped back and raised an eyebrow at her.

"It was Dae-Hyun." She said in a snitching voice. Ryota looked over to him and Dae-Hyun pulled his tongue out at Yeonhee who quickly returned it.

"You two are childish." He stated.

"What's in the bag?" She asked, trying to peep inside the large bag he was holding. He moved his arm so she wasn't able to look inside and she pouted at him.

"None of your business." He said. "Go waddle back where you came from, I need to sort this out." He said in a tone she knew was playful.

"Fine..." She said and returned to Dae-Hyun who sulked at her for 'snitching' and placed a sticky bow on her nose, knowing she won't be able to take it off as her hands are literally tied.

Jae Eun was sitting on one of the chairs at the table, making sure everything in his reach was tidy and in its correct place. He knows when everyone's here, it's going to go to shit. But he likes it to be tidy for a long as he can.

Sohee was in the corner of the room trying to quickly wrap the last of her presents. She didn't have time to wrap them last night when she was meant to. She accidentally went on Instagram before hand and before she knew it, her whole evening had gone. Leaving her with the option of either wrapping them there and then, or getting a good nights sleep and wrap them at work. She chose the latter option.

"Sohee, what-" Ryota started to ask as he put his gifts to people on the table next to her.

"Leave me alone! You'll see your present!" She yelled at him, shifting her sitting position so her back was covering he gifts she was wrapping. Ryota sighed and decided to sit down and just wait for everyone to arrive before asking questions.

It wasn't too long before Min Seol, Kai Ling and Hyerim arrived together. A fuss was made and then Hyerim went over to Dae-Hyun and Yeonhee to mess around with Sohee's ribbon that Ryota now knows was used to wrap Yeonhee up instead of her presents. Min Seol helped Kai Ling bring the food in as she decided to cook. She didn't trust other people to make it.

Minseo and Taeyang turned up together and Inha and Kyoji arrived last together.

With everyone there Kai Ling coaxed everyone to sit at the table. Everyone was chatting amongst each other and Ryota watched them all, kind of happy he wouldn't spend Christmas alone again. He was interrupted by a tap on his hand. He looked to see Kyoji's head facing his but he was looking elsewhere.

"Did everyone bring presents?" He asked, his eyes now looking at Ryota. "Because I didn't get anyone anything." He said, a little panic in his voice. Ryota smiled a little and tried not to chuckle. He knows his brother isn't very good in social situations -he's surprised he even turned up-, so he found his panic a little funny. He's trying.

"Yeah, everyone else did." Ryota answered and Kyoji sighed. Ryota could see the cogs in his little brothers head turning as he tried thinking of a plan on how to get quick presents for everyone. "You don't have to though. It wasn't compulsory." He reassured. Kyoji nodded and was a little more calm.

"I got you one." He stated, which made Ryota's eyebrows raise. "You're the only one I bought for though." He mumbled into his hand as he leaned his head on it. Ryota was about to say something but Kai Ling interrupted them by making an announcement.

"Okay so, I've dished out and I'm gonna bring everyone food." She said, everyone started to talk as they were excited to eat. "But don't you dare start eating it without me there." She suddenly threatened, pointing the carving knife at them all. Dae-Hyun laughed loudly as she pointed the knife at him, he can't take anyone seriously.

The food was given out and everyone tucked in (when Kai Ling was there of course). A sudden loud bang made everyone jump and they all looked at Minseo, who was sat there with a large grin and three Christmas crackers in his hand. He started to laugh as Min Seol put a hand in her chest as she was scared by the noise.

"No making loud noises and pranking people at the table, Minseo." Kai Ling scolded him.

"Tryin' to eat, not choke." Jae Eun added annoyed.

"You two sound like you're my parents." Minseo commented, as he shoved some food into his mouth.

"I'm allowed to tell you off, I'm older." Kai Ling said as she took a sip of her drink.

"Yeah but, only by what? Four months?" Minseo argued with his mouth full of food. Jae Eun pulled a disgusted face as he saw his food in his mouth.

"Three actually." Kai Ling teased. Minseo opened his full mouth to reply when she interrupted him. "Min Seol," she said and Min Seol looked up with wide eyes. "enjoying the food?" She asked sweetly.

Min Seol was confused by the sudden question as she wasn't really listening. She chewed the large limp of food in her small mouth and nodded. Not sure how to reply as she wasn't sure if it was a joke or not.

Kai Ling smiled at her and continued to eat the food she made for them. Minseo decided to let this argument go.

Everyone moved into the comfy room as it was more spacious and there were so many couches and nice places for them all to sit. They planned on opening presents there. The ones who brought ones at least.

Sohee was flustered as she carried the presents she brought into the room, she dumped them onto the table and sighed defeatedly.

"Round up kids." She said to everyone. "Open the presents I wrapped before they open themselves. I didn't tape them very well so it's just popping off." She chuckled and scratched the back of her neck.

Some rushed over and some walked from their spots to the table. They looked for their names and opened up the presents.

Kyoji got his and felt a pang of guilt for not bringing anyone apart form Ryota something. He opened up the messily wrapped gift and looked down at it, confused. Sohee looked over to him and remembered what she got him, she wasn't sure how he would take it.

Kyoji just stared down at the Hulk figurine. He suddenly burst into laugher. Everyone looked shocked at the sound as no ones heard it before. He kept letting out a heartful laugh, to the point he started to turn red. He covered his mouth embarrassed that he couldn't control the noise, until Sohee started to laugh with him. The two laughed while everyone else watched in shock. They calmed down quite quickly and Kyoji cleared his throat to compose himself.

"Thank you Sohee, I like this a lot." He thanked her, letting out a small chuckle as he looked back down at it again. Sohee walked up to him and hugged him.

"No problem Kyoji." She said, she was ecstatic that she got him to laugh. She backed away and sat down with everyone else, Kyoji putting his gift down before following too.

"Tae!" Hyerim yelled loudly, making Min Seol jump for the second time today. She ran over to her little backpack full of neatly wrapped presents and got out a small rectangle shaped one, before running over to Taeyang who was helping himself to the alcohol available. He smiled as she held it out for him with a large grin on her little face.

He took it from her hands and opened it. He looked down at the box in curiosity, and lifted up the lid, revealing a pair of sunglasses he actually really liked.

"Thanks Ri." He chuckled and got the glasses out their little box.

"It's so you can hide your scar, but look cool at the same time. Because I know that's a big thing for you." She explained. She winked at him and he returned one back. "Nothing for your busted lip for bruised neck though." She stated before she looked sad. "Could have gotten you a scarf too..." She pouted.

"The glasses are great, I don't need the scarf. You've always got my back... Kinda." He said and popped them on. He posed and kept his cool for a second before they both burst into laughter. "Thanks Ri, I actually like these." He said and gave her a high five as he knows hugs aren't really her thing.

"Just making sure you can pull all the ladies still." She said jokingly.

"How considerate." He chuckled as he took them off and put them back into their box.

"I'm sure Nana will love them~!" She said before turning away and skipped to sit down. Taeyang's face dropped.

"I'm seeing Nara, actually." He clarified.

"Oh please, we all know your smitten with Nana." She called back. Taeyang decided to drop it, as there was no point arguing with her. She also wasn't wrong either... He thought he would just save himself further embarrassment.

Kai Ling walked over to the armchair that Inha was sitting in, alone, just observing the other members. She looked up as Kai approached and sent her a soft smile.

Kai Ling smiled warmly back before handing Inha a small wrapped gift. Inha opened her mouth in shock at the sudden presentation, and took it from her hands hesitantly. She looked back up at Kai Ling and she nodded at her.

"Open it." She prompted. Inha looked down at the neatly wrapped gift and smiled as she saw 'Inha' written neatly on the tag. She delicately unwrapped it and let out a laugh as she saw the gift.

It was a small book. She laughed again as she read the title. 'Catwoman'. She flipped through the comics pages and couldn't contain the smile on her face.

"You remind me of Catwoman, you know when you wear your mask on Eliminator missions? And your stealthy and silent like she is. Hot too." She explained making Inha laugh.

"Thank you Kai." She said sincerely, patting the book happily.

"You like it?" Kai asked smiling widely.

"I really do. I'll be sure to read it and think of you." She said, looking up at Kai Ling before laughing again and Kai patted her chest, pretending to fangirl over Inha's comment.

"You've helped us out a lot, you deserve it." She smiled before slipping away to give out the rest of her presents.

With Kai Ling not being the best at buying gifts, she ended up buying tacky books for everyone, Inha and Minseo being the only two who's book actually related to them. Minseo got a book called 'Hot Sex, And How To Do It'. Minseo complained that he doesn't need the book to help as he's 'pretty damn fine already' without it.

Kyoji watched as everyone exchanged gifts and thanked each other. He felt like he should have gotten something but didn't really think. He was surprised people were giving him gifts. He was grateful anyway.

Ryota came and sat down next to him and sighed as he leaned back on the couch. Kyoji looked up at him as he was sitting on the floor, using the couch as a back rest. Ryota looked down at him and smiled. 

"You feel really bad don't you." Ryota stated with a smile. Kyoji was surprised by his sudden statement but nodded softly. "It's fine, no ones expecting gifts." He said, trying to reassure him again. "Wouldn't have thought you cared enough to worry though. Are these guys growing on you?" He teased.

"I've grown up with some of them, they're like family." Kyoji muttered, annoyed at his older brothers teasing.

"What about the others?"

"They're okay, I guess." He said, fiddling with his shirt sleeve. "I like some more than others." He added, making Ryota chuckle. Kyoji wanted to change the subject as quickly as possible and reached over to his black backpack. He messed around with it and pulled out a small square box with a stick on ribbon on it.

Ryota tried not to laugh at the lack of effort in the decoration of it, but was happy he at least put the bow on.

"Don't tease me about it." Kyoji said, referring to the gift. He didn't care about the lack of wrapping he did.

Ryota opened up the box and looked down at the ring inside it. He was confused but smiled as he picked it up and inspected it.

"You know the high rank Yakuza members all had those special rings?" Kyoji asked, Ryota nodded. "Well I thought we could have one but for Malevolent." He stated and lifted up his own hand, showing off the same ring on his middle finger. Ryota just stared in awe at the rings, the silence was too much for Kyoji. "Or not, if you think it's stupid." He added.

"No no!" Ryota exclaimed quickly. "I like the idea." He said smiling at Kyoji who just nodded in response. "The other guys should get one too."

"I'm not buying them all one. These were pretty expensive themselves." Kyoji grumbled. "Custom jewellery isn't cheap I found out."

"I thought that would be common knowledge." Ryota said, teasing him again. He received a punch to the shin in return. "Thank you Kyoji." He said sincerely and Kyoji sent him a quick weak smile before getting comfy and closed his eyes.

Ryota placed the ring on his middle finger and looked at it. He smiled to himself softy, glad that after he took over Malevolent it stayed stronger than ever. Crushing the low expectations the old Boss -who took him, Kyoji, Yeonhee and Taeyang in and raised them- had of him. He passed on the firm to Ryota which he had no other option to do, with the expectation that it all to go to shit.

Ryota isn't a spiteful person, but he wishes that the old Boss could see what he's achieved for the firm now. Just to prove him wrong and crush the demeaning prediction that he set on him.

After everyone had opened their gifts, some were more relaxed and sleepy, whereas the others were more hyperactive than before.

Ryota leaned so far back on the couch, he was practically lying down. He felt tired after conversing with everyone for so long. He wasn't use to it. The only time he really spoke to anyone was to give orders which was usually brief. The rest of the time he was alone in his office, planning missions and orders.

He closed his eyes to try and take a nap, blocking out the noise of the others. A sudden weight made the couch dip and for him to open his eyes.

He looked over to his side to see Yeonhee sitting there, smiling at him.

"Hey." She chirped.

"Hi." He replied in a quiet and tired voice.

"We're you going to sleep?" She asked.

"I was probably, until you came over." He answered. "You okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine!" She said happily and Ryota smiled at her. "I actually came over to thank you." Ryota frowned, not sure what she could possibly thank him for.

"Why?" He questioned. Yeonhee repositioned herself on the couch so she was facing him, moving the couch in the process and making Kyoji up. He grumbled at her and she just ignored him as she's learnt is the best way to deal with a pissed off Kyoji.

"Because you looked after me and Jae when we were in the hospital bit. It was really nice that you stayed with us. I know how busy you are these days." She said sweetly. "I'm sure Jae appreciates it too, he just has trouble expressing his feelings and emotions. But I really appreciate it and thought I should let you know that it didn't go unnoticed."

Ryota smiled at her kind words. He always had a soft spot her, and she knew it. She grew up with him and always stuck by his side, he thought of her like a little sister.

"Thank you for that." He thanked. "When will you be getting that off your foot?" He asked and pointed to the large blue boot on her foot.

"Not too long. I'll be out destroying buildings and units before you know it." She laughed. "I better go now, Dae-Hyun and Sohee are waiting for me. They're doing some sort of competition with aegyo or something, and I'm an involuntarily competitor." She said as she lifted herself to her feet. "Talk to you soon~!" She said and limped over to Dae-Hyun and Sohee who looked to be bickering over something.

Ryota watched her waddle away and folded his arms, and sighed. Her words stayed with him. It was relieving to hear that he's doing good, as it always worries him that he's not doing a good job or being a good boss.

"So, how's the boyfriend Jae?" Minseo asked out of the blue with a cheeky grin. Jae Eun shot him a venomous glance as he thought he was taking the piss. "Nah I'm being serious. You never talk to me so I'm taking matters into my own hands to start the conversation." He explained.

Jae Eun glanced at his innocent looking face and sighed as he looked back to his phone.

"He's good." He muttered.

"Texting him now?" Minseo questioned, moving from his current position so he was lying down on his front rather than his back, his head in his hands and was close to Jae Eun who was also lying down due to his injury. Jae Eun glanced at him and shifted away slightly.

"Maybe." He mumbled. Minseo shuffled more so he could try look at the phone screen, but Jae Eun moved away and glared at him. "Well that's just straight up rude."

"His name's Yugyeom? Awh that's a cute name." Minseo cooed and Jae Eun just frowned. "I'm not being sarcastic." He clarified.

"You're always sarcastic. I can never tell if your being sarcastic or not anymore." He complained.

"Is he cute? What does he look like?" Minseo asked rapidly, leaning his head on his hands so his cheeks puffed up and looked squishy.

"Tall. You could say he's cute." He replied without thinking. "Why're you suddenly interested?" He questioned.

"Oh don't think that Jae! I'm not the kinda guy who goes and steals people's partners. I'm actually a respectable guy believe it or not." He answered. "Everyone just thinks I'm crazy because I have a good time, all of the time." He explained and smiled.

Jae Eun scanned Minseo's face before looking back at his phone.

"That's one way to put it I guess." He muttered before replying to Yugyeom's texts.

"Minseo stop harassing your father." Kai Ling said and flicked his ear. Minseo whined like a kid and shot her death glares. "Thanks for the present though, I actually really like it." She said and smiled at him genuinely before sitting down on a pile of cushions next to him.

"You sound surprised." He pressed, rolling to his side and propped himself up on his elbow so he was facing her.

"I didn't think you were actually good at buying presents for people. So yes, I was surprised."

"I'm a listener Kai, what can I say." He said in a bragging voice.

"Oh shut up, I bet you picked it randomly at some shop and hoped for the best." She replied annoyed that he's gone cocky.

"No!" He answered back and sat up, too annoyed to be lying down. He crossed his legs and pointed at her, an offended look on his face. "I heard you complain to Min Seol that you needed hair stuff to make your hair go big and have high volume or something!" He explained, sounding well and truly offended by her allegations. "So I went and looked for hair things that had 'volume' on it. I have no idea what it means but I looked for it for ages. I even asked this woman called Lisa at the shop which was kind of embarrassing but then we ended up going out." He ranted and the offence started to leave his tone and was replaced by a smug one instead. "And then I think you know what happened after that." He said wiggling his eyebrows and chuckled. "Pretty blonde, you know how they are."

Kai Ling leaned over and hit him over the head.

"You have sex with anything that makes eye contact." She complained.

"Like you don't flirt 24/7." Minseo stated. "But let's be honest, I don't have to try do I?" He said and gestured to his body in a seductive way.

"Oh fuck off." She said trying to sound angry but laughed at the end of her sentence.

"We're both as fucked up as each other." He chuckled.

"True, but you're better at buying the gifts." Kai Ling said as she ruffled her now more voluminous hair and winked at him.

Min Seol went over and sat with Yeonhee who had left Dae-Hyun and Sohee's competition. She was sat there painting her nails with a new nail varnish that Min Seol got her.

"Like the colour? I wasn't sure you would like it." Min Seol asked as she sat down. Yeonhee looked at her and smiled brightly.

"No, I love it! It's really cute." She replied happily.

"Thought it would suit you." Min Seol added.

"What would you call it? Peach?" Yeonhee questioned. Min Seol looked at her painted nails and hummed in agreement. "It's very cute. Keep them summer colours in winter." She commented, making Min Seol laugh. "I hope you liked your present."

"Oh I did! I can add it to my collection of other pens now." She said excitedly.

"I saw you had lots of novelty pens so, I thought why not add to the collection." She explained. "Saw a theme of fluff, so obviously I tried to find you a fluffy one too. They're surprisingly hard to find." She complained.

"Yeah, in Korea they are. There's this place back in Hawaii that sells loads of stuff like that. I get them from there when I visit." She explained and Yeonhee listened in fascination. She'd never left Asia before and Hawaii was on her list of places to go.

"I've always wanted to go there." Yeonhee commented.

"Oh it's beautiful. You really should go, it's great." She smiled, thinking back to her hometown.

"Do your family live there still?" She asked, min Seol shook her head.

"No we moved here a couple years back. They've all got really good jobs here so I doubt we'll be moving back." She explained.

"Do you family know your in the Mafia?" Yeonhee asked in a quiet tone, as if Min Seol's family were in the same room and were in risk of hearing her.

"No. I wouldn't even think of telling them. My dad and I aren't on the best of terms as it is, God forbid what it would be like if I told him what I do for a living." She said, laughing a little as she imagined his reaction if he found out what she does.

"Not spending Christmas with your family?"

"It would be too tense. I was invited but declined." She mumbled, Yeonhee nodded in understanding. "Anyways, it's been great with you guys. Who needs family drama anyway." She said and smiled at Yeonhee.

"Preach." She stated before blowing on her nails in an attempt to dry them quicker.

Sohee and Dae-Hyun were bickering again over who's aegyo was the best, as they both claim to be the cutest out of everyone there.

"Look at my face though." Dae-Hyun said and pointed to himself. "Tell me I'm not fucking adorable."

"When you try you are." Sohee said and Dae-Hyun was about to send her a smug look until Sohee added to her statement. "I don't even have to try, I'm naturally adorable 24/7." She said and flipped her hair sassily.

"No. I'm not having this." Hyun said and turned to face the others in the room. "I need everyone's attention, right now." He called out, making everyone look at him. "We need your honest opinions guys. Unbiased opinions, may I add."

Taeyang rolled his eyes and sipped at his drink. Hyerim saw and hit him on the chest, almost making him spill his drink down his front.

"Opinions on what." Kai Ling asked.

"Who's cuter." Sohee said and half the room groaned. "No! This is serious guys. We need to find out who's the cutest out of all of us." She said sounding annoyed that everyone wasn't going along with it.

"For science." Taeyang muttered under his breath.

"Show us then." Min Seol demanded. Hyun and Sohee looked at each other and shrugged.

"Okay. Sohee, you go first." He said and Sohee smiled evilly at him.

"I'm the judge. Show me." Min Seol said and raised her hand up. "I'm a judgemental person, I'm good at this stuff."

Sohee walked over to he and did her cutest aegyo, doing a cute 'buing buing'. Min Seol had to look away and cooed at Sohee's little face, putting a hand on her chest.

"Awh~! That's the cutest thing I've ever seen." She said to Yeonhee who was still blowing in her nails, but she nodded in agreement. "Good luck topping that Hyun." She laughed.

Sohee walked back to where she was standing and passed Hyun as she went. The two glared at each other as they crossed paths.

"Easy." He muttered to Sohee, who just sent him a sarcastic smile.

He stood before Min Seol who looked expectingly at him. He cleared his throat and instantly changed into an adorable form of himself. He somehow looked different, but in a cuter way.

He started to sing a song in a cute voice and made a heart shape with his hands, before making it burst, revealing his cute face in the process.

Min Seol found it utterly adorable. She grabbed Yeonhee's arm and 'aw'ed at him. He turned and looked at Sohee smugly.

"How was it?" He asked.

"That was too cute." Min Seol said, still trying to get over the cuteness she's just witnessed in the past 5 minutes.

"Who won?" Sohee asked and walked over to them.

"Excuse me." Hyerim said loudly, causing them to look at her. "Is no one else allowed to join?" She questioned.

"If you think you can compete, then of course." Hyun said and gestured at her.

She smiled and walked over to them. Her body language was cute but awkward, she'd already stated before they even realised.

She started to sing the 'Itjanha' song. Everyone was cooing at her. She pretended to be embarrassed.

"That was so cute!" Min Seol said. Hyerim pretended she didn't already know.

"Thank you~!" She sang and lifted her arms up and out, showcasing her face and cute body language, before pretending to laugh all embarrassed.

Hyun and Sohee tutted at her, as they knew she'd won.

"Hyerim wins! She's so small and adorable. She seems so innocent." She laughed.

"If only her psycho personality matched her cute little face." Taeyang commented. Everyone hummed in agreement.

I don't usually do shit like this cuz I find it cringy when I read when other people do it, but I guess it's too late now cuz I'm writing it and have left it in after proof reading and published it by now so... Guess I'm gonna be cringe.

I didn't think when starting is af that anyone would actually apply, never mind me doing a fucking Christmas special chapter like dude. I would never have thought to do it, but I love all of you guys ('but ducky, you don't know us' yeah well, your all amazing so-) and felt bad I couldn't give you all a present in some way(???) so I decided to write this chapter as a Christmas gift from me to you~ ...kinda. (5200+ words omfg it took so long to write, but was fun~)

If you didn't enjoy the chapter, fine, then just pretend to like it, like you do when you open a gift you don't really like at christmas.

Dramatic reenactment
You hastily tear off the glossy patterned paper. Your eyes wide and expecting as they look down in hope that they'll be met with the sight of the gift you've been wanting since August.

Instead, they're met with a pair of pyjamas that you don't really need. You try and hide your disappointment as family are watching you expectingly. You put on a fake smile and weakly laugh in attempt to boost up the façade of joy.

"Thanks." You say in fake gratitude. "They're really nice." You add as you put them to the side, trying to hide your utter disappointment.

I have no fucking idea why I wrote all that. I hope you found it at least mildly amusing, probably not but oh well. I tried, I guess.

ANYWAY what I've been trying to say this whole time is that I hope you guys have an amazing Christmas as you all deserve it! Reading all your comments and seeing you all interact with each other and being friendly makes me so happy you have no idea!
