Observant: As his role suggests, Elias is a savant in the arts. He is able to replicate a scene in oil and canvas in remarkable detail after viewing it only once. He has been especially praised for his ability to render light.

Passionate: Elias is fascinated by insects, particularly species of butterflies and moths. He is rarely seen without his pocket journal, in which he keeps precise sketches of the butterflies and moths he encounters. Oftentimes he spends hours in the gardens, recreating every delicate line of a wing.

Solitary: Not naturally talkative nor social, Elias is unused to attention. Besides the archangels, he is not very close to anyone else, and is much more comfortable when alone.

||BRIEF HISTORY||
Much of what he refers to as his "past life" seems like a dream— he's stopped trying to remember his mother's face. It's been a long time since he was human, a warm-blooded little boy on the coast. In his twenty-first year, while attending college, Elias was the victim of a mugging and was left to die in the streets with seven mortal stab wounds. When he awoke again, fifty years had passed.

Now, Elias roams the countryside, giving counsel to those who seek it and warm lodgings to those who happen upon his cabin.
