Dec. 15:

Elephant Island decides to rid the neighboring island of odd so that they can move some of their people onto it, as their island is becoming very crowded

Elephant Island's Un-Odd Committee leads a raid and kills every single snee, cowfish, papayanappananango, and other odd thing on the island; all talking animals escape except for a young pie-loving duck named Corn Popo, who is presumed dead by the talking animals

The Chairperson of the Un-Odd Committee, although at first enraged that the duck was not killed on the spot, allows the person who took it to keep it, because he has a plan of how it may be of use in the future

Because of the escape of the talking animals, Elephant Island decides to not move anyone onto that island and begins looking for other options

Dec. 25:

The talking animals decide that it's safe to come out of hiding, but they remain in the southwest area of the island, away from Elephant Island; they begin building a sort of settlement/village there
