I was really liking the big brother role and I wasn't going let this beautiful little girl steal my Mama away from me...

We were just going to have to share

Which meant I had to be Mama's little helper

A role that had become natural to me

I was there whether it was feeding time or changing time

I was getting my time

Always underfoot

It didn't change much having the new one around

But she was getting a lot of attention

It didn't bother me when all of the other adults goo-gooed over her

I didn't want their attention

I didn't even care how she had wrapped Daddy around her little finger

Mama told me that she was proud of me and how I nice that I was ok with the baby...

I was just glad that she had had a girl instead of a boy
