I have a sweet tooth...

Every tooth in my head must be sweet...

But as much as I love the taste of sweet pies, after my first taste of humble pie, it is now my favorite pie of all pies...

Here is a recipe that I have been working on...

Humble Pie

Prepare your crust using the knowledge that it will stand as your humble pie's foundation...

So be sure to use tender love...

And care...

Set crust aside...

For your main ingredient, the filling must have an ample amount of love just to sustain the remaining ingredients, which are as follows...

A heaping handful of humility...

All the truth that your filling will hold...

Trust (to your taste)...

You will need to add some strength (be careful not to overpower your pie with strength!!! Because after all it is humble pie)...

Add readiness to admit to mistakes (we all inherently make those)...

Fold in forgiveness, sincerity and just to make sure, a little more love...

Now, the tricky part...

Add a dose of willingness to share authority, with some openness to feedback and a huge amount of the ability to recognize limitations...

Mix all ingredients with daily prayer, dedication and devotion...

Carefully pour this mixture into crust prepared and set aside in the first step...

Bake low and slow...

Very important, in times of turmoil, allow a cooling off period...

A good humble pie is never rushed...
