Dear Reader,

Just wanted to clarify before you read that this novel was published in 2012. It was my first original work published on here, and for that reason, I find it cringy to look back on in terms of how much my writing has improved since then. Please don't expect a masterpiece in these pages, but I do hope if you choose to continue October that you manage to find some enjoyment within it. Be sure to check out some of my newer works too if you're not quite impressed with this writing style.
