Today was Rachel's birthday, and all she wanted was to be left alone. She hated her birthday ever since she was a little girl. It's not because she didn't get what she wanted, her father always made sure his little girl got what she wanted. So when the day rolled around, she woke up bright and early, then proceed to started to paint her heart away. She didn't realized how long it was until Percy walked through her curtain.

"Hey Rachel, Chiron needs you," he started.

She followed him back to the Big House. Once she arrived she saw Jason, Leo, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Annabeth, Nico, and Will. 

"What the-" 

"Happy birthday!" everyone but Nico shouted. 

"Thanks," she mumbled. 

"There's something back in you cave," Jason and Leo giggled. 

Rachel rolled her green eyes and walked back to the only place she really called home. Once she got there, she groaned and mumbled. 

"Every year. I mean I know that they care and I love all of them for that, but I guess they don't know what happened all those years ago,"

"What happened?" she heard a voice coming from behind her curtain. 

She bolted around to see the familiar smiling face she always loved to see. She ran over and jump in the person's arms. 

"Happy birthday Rach," the voice added. 

"Thanks Octavian," she giggled. 

Once she let go of him, he pilled her into a kiss. 

"I've missed you," he added. 

"I have an idea, but I don't know how good it is," he muttered. 

"What?" Rachel asked intrigued. 

"What if we move to New Rome, so we won't have to do long distance. And we would be able to help each other with prophecies. It's dumb I know," he answered. 

"No it's not. Let's do it tonight," Rachel smiled mischievously and started to pack. 

Once she finished, they waited until midnight, when the only people were up were the Hermes cabin. They crept pass Festus and made their way to New Rome. When they arrived in New Rome, Octavian lead Rachel, towards a house. 

"You already had one?" She asked once she saw it. 

"Yeah I got it so I didn't have to deal with Reyna complaining about Jason being with Piper," he answered with a laugh. 

He lead Rachel inside and to a room with one of those ridiculously huge Valentine teddy bears on the bed. 

"This is the cringiest thing even for you. Am I going to find this with a stab wound in it?" she joked. 

"Not thise time," he replied. She went to the bed, and snuggled next to Octavian.

"I love you," she added with barely above a whisper. 

"I love you too," he smiled and fell asleep next to Rachel.
