Story Idea;

Rafe was adopted by Hank and Olivia when he was 5 months old. He was found in a sex traffickers mansion along with an array of other child in downtown LA.

Olivia was the one who found him and the other children, they were all fathered by the same man, the man who ran the trafficking ring. 

He was adopted by the police couple due to them being unable to conceive a child. 

Rafe was raised in a loving but stern family, and he ended up joining the Navy SEALS when she was 17/18. 

His entire file in the Navy SEALS is classified or not even documented. 

He was in the Navy for nearly 11 years before getting honorably discharged. 

Rafe joined the police academy, but was pulled out to do undercover jobs, and somehow ended up on Hondo's team.

Rafe is generally loud and boisterous, and typically brutally honest. He can be sweet though, but only to those he cares about. He is also a jokester, he loves to make people laugh.

In the Navy, he was always shutdown and he had a hot-head. He can still be like that, but he can bring himself back pretty easily.

Claire Edwards, much like her older brother, was adopted by Hank and Olivia Edwards, but her adoption was because of a teen who chose to give her up to adoption. 

Olivia was the one who worked her case and ended up adopting the baby once she was born. 

Claire grew up fairly protected, mostly because of her father and older brother. 

She wants her freedom, but she doesn't know how to approach her parents about it.

Claire is a fairly naive, but sweet and king girl.

Hank Edwards was born to a single mother, who raised him to respect woman, no matter what. 

When he was 18, he enlisted into the Army, there is where he meet Army Medic Olivia Kyle, who he fell for. 

The two would later marry and adopt two kids. 

He ended up getting honorable discharged and become a cop, where he climbed the ranks to Captain of the Robbery-Homicide Division.

Hank is a standoffish, stubborn, and stern man who has no problem telling someone exactly what he thinks. Around his family, he is softer and more approaching. For his family, he would do anything.

She enlisted into the Army when she was 17 and became a medic, that's where she met Hank Edwards, who she fell for at first sight. 

They two ended up getting married and adopting two kids. 

Olivia is a smart and caring older woman who became Captain of the Sex Crimes Division after getting honorably discharged from the Army and becoming a cop. She was the first female 

She is a stubborn and very protective woman, especially to her own kids and her husband.
