Strengths: she's ruthless and cunning, with a sharp wit and a sharper sword. She blends into crowds like she's invisible and she always knows what to do.
Weaknesses: she finds it difficult to trust people and she hides behind her sarcasm. She's sometimes too good at being invisible, and finds it too easy to hide from everyone. She's never had a normal life and has just a little too little empathy.
Personality: Gwen hides behind thick, steel walls and a front of sarcasm and smarts. She knows exactly what's going on, behind miles of subtext, and can disassemble conversations as easily as she can bodies. Gwen doesn't appear to care about anyone, but those she loves she places on a pedestal higher than a mountain and does everything she can to protect them. She's a little psycho in that she doesn't really mind killing people, but a single-mindedness to protect the few she knows she can trust erases any doubts about her sketchy profession. (Pride)
Backstory: Gwen was created by genetic splicing of the genes of Faiza Hussain and Peggy Carter. The people who created her wanted the perfect weapon, and got more than they bargained for when she killed everyone in the Hydra facility she was created in and stole both Excalibur and all the files on her creation and existence. She chose her name and swiftly joined The Hand as a mercenary and assassin. The only person she trusts is her partner in crime Elia Jakob, who was a completely normal girl until exposed to near-fatal amounts of gamma radiation working as a lab assistant for Bruce Banner. Elia was transformed into a lethal super soldier capable of incredible feats of strength and agility, and as such was quickly picked up by none other than Guinevere Hussain. The two became inseparable and never take a mission without the other.
Other: Gwen likes cats, hates Hydra and has a grudging respect for SHIELD.
