Backstory: Georgie's childhood best friend's brother was reaped when he was only 12. He died and her friend was never really happy again, so Georgie grew up feeling awful for every twelve year old that was reaped. She had quite a happy home life; her father was an inventor and she grew up in the workshop. When she was six she had an accident with the furnace and burnt her shoulder quite badly. However she didn't really separate herself from the workshop or get scared. Her mother was a school teacher and she inspired Georgie's love of learning. As an only child, she was doted on.
