Personality: Ruby started out as a shy, quiet girl. She is known to be one of the weakest Vikings in the village, even if she's from a long line of very talented and famous dragon hunters, known to hunt down dragon by luring them to their dooms with music. And yes, she loves music and singing with a passion, but not to use them to for any kind of violence. But once you get to know her, she bcan be playful at times and can also be very affectionate. She never really thinks about herself, she always seem to put other people's lives and needs before her own.

Backstory: In short, Ruby was almost like another Hiccup for a different village. She isn't exactly the child of any chief per say. But she is the daughter of well known dragon hunters, known to hunt down any dragon by luring them to their dooms with music. Her father was even known to vanquish a whispering death, taking many of its teeth and bones as souvenirs and proof that he had slayed the beast. Everybody in the village wanted her to be like her ancestors: brave, dragon-killing Vikings. But the problem was, even though she loves music with a passion, she hates to use it for any kind of violence. And not only that, but Ruby was anything but brave, not even able to sleep in the dark without any sort of light. In other words, she was seen as a disappointment in the family. She was even nicknamed 'Ruby the Runt.'
But it wasn't until one day, her parents set off to sail to look and hunt for more dragons for her on her 13th birthday, leaving her alone on her own temporarily. At least, that was what everyone thought. She waited for her parents to come back for days. Which turned into weeks. And then months... Until everyone declared and believed that they are never coming back. Some say that they were attacked by dragons and killed. Others think that they had actually left to start a new life without Ruby and to probably raise a better child. But they were actually killed by other dragon hunters. Ever since then, poor Ruby was left alone.

That was until one day, one of her village's enemies had decided to release a young Death Song on their island, wreaking havoc on their crops and homes. And while everyone else was trying to think of a way to get rid of it, Ruby had decided to take a walk through the forest to clear her mind, unfortunately running into the Death Song. Of course she was terrified at first, until she noticed the dragon's trills were starting to sound like... A melody. Intrigued, Ruby then pull out her flute and started to play along with the Death Song. And the two bonded over their love for music and became thick as thieves ever since.

Ruby wanted to keep their friendship a secret for obvious reasons. But eventually, her village found out and both Ruby and Melody got banished from not just the village, from the whole island. Ever since then, Ruby and Melody has been wandering/flying around, trying to find a new home.

Abilities: rather than shooting fire, she spits thick amber-like substance at her target to form an impenetrable cocoon.

Strengths: she is a smart dragon and not easily fooled, she also has a brave and kind heart unlike most death songs

Weakness: she doesn't really tolerate very loud noises and become very aggressive to strangers or when her loved ones are in danger. She is also a bit nearsighted meaning she has some problems seeing almost anything that's a couple feet away

Personality: Rune is quite the mystery alright. He's not cold or cruel in any way, but he can get distant if someone were to ask about his past. He's really loyal to the ones cares about. But he will also do whatever it takes to help them in anyway. Even if it meant hurting someone else or gaining their trust only to backstab them to get what he wants or needs. He can act charismatic and kind to others, especially to his enemies since he follows the saying 'Keep your friends close and enemies closer'. But the only person who he seems to show his true kindness and affection to is Ruby and of course his dragon, Stardust. Nobody knows why though, not even Rune himself knows why she is the only person who he's truly kind to. He could only guess that it was because she was the only one who has shown him true kindness.

Likes: flying especially at night, stargazing, his dragon Stardust, Ruby, hanging out or flying with Ruby, making Ruby laugh or happy, I have said Ruby before right?, hiking, hunting, giving revenge to those who deserves it. 

Dislikes: betrayal whether he's the one doing it or not, anyone who upsets Ruby or Stardust, seeing Ruby sad, being trapped, dragon hunters, the fact that he might have to betray Ruby sooner or later.

Strengths: Stardust is a very smart dragon and one of the fastest Typhoomerangs out there.

Weaknesses: He doesn't like loud noises and can get very aggressive whenever something messes with his tail. He also has low stamina so he can't go too fast for too long.
