This is my first chapter!
This is all my own work and ideas and these characters all belong to me.

"So... we're almost there!" Mom said, with a nervous smile on her face.
She looked at me. "Honey, please don't mess up anything here. It's been a long time since I've met my sister and, and this is our last option."
Isabelle, my younger sister groaned. "Puh-leaseeeee, I really don't want you to ruin this place as well. I hate moving again and again all the timeeeeee."
I really hate having to deal with a moody teenager.
"I know mom." I responded, ignoring Isabelle. "It's not like I do this on purpose, it just happens."
Mom sighed. "I know, hon."
Dad looked at me through the mirror. "I know it's not your fault at all Oce. Just, try to avoid stuff!"
"Like water?"
"Yeah!"
He didn't realize I was asking it sarcastically until Mom slapped him on the arm.
"David, how is she supposed to avoid water?!" She whispered.
"Right." He said, sheepishly.
I sighed and put my head on the window, closing my eyes.

20 minutes later...

Dad honked the car and woke me up with a start.
"What's the big deal?" I grumbled.
"We're here!"
He stopped the car and waited for us to get out.
I opened the car door and gasped when I saw the island.
There was a huge hut on the beach, with beautiful clear waves reaching the shore.
On the mountains and rocks up at the clifftop, lay an enormous lighthouse.
"Wow..." I whispered.
I couldn't wait to live here.

So... that was chapter one...
