Take a Dip

"No way!" You gasped.

Killer had led you through the woods to a very secluded spot. It was no wonder none of the other guys knew about it, it was hard to find unless you knew what you were looking for.

"What do you think? Should we put it to use?" He asked, putting the lamp out and setting it down on the ground.

"It'd be a shame not to." You answered with a smirk.

It was picture perfect. A large, natural hot spring surrounded by a thick of trees and lit up by the moon and stars. Of course you were going to put it to use. None of the guys were going to find it and you doubted Kid would come around. He probably knew Killer would bring you here at some point.

Killer was already stripping and you watched him pull his shirt over his head before doing the same. It was one hell of a good view that you never got tired of seeing. Of course he caught you staring and grinned as he kicked off his boots.

"Sorry, you're kinda hot." You giggled shamelessly as your clothes joined the growing pile in the grass.

He chuckled quietly and stepped into the water, sighing when it covered up most of his torso. It was much deeper than you expected but that was all the better. You followed after him, loving the feeling of the hot water against your skin. It ended up being deep enough to hit your chest.

"Not a bad base island huh?" He asked as you started playing with his hair.

"It's great. No annoying people, plenty of space to get away from the crew, and a hot spring~ I hope we stay more than a couple days."

"I doubt we will. Kid's itching for blood again." He held your hand and brought it up to his lips, brushing them across your knuckles.

"As he does." You sighed, a little disappointed.

"It doesn't mean we won't come by here again another time." Killer pushed your back into a small gathering of smooth rocks and started to kiss along your neck.

"I'm already looking forward to it."

----

It turned into a very heated night. You wouldn't be surprised if Kid refused to use the hot spring at all during this visit to the island after all the things you and Killer did in it. It wasn't hard to believe that when you got back to his room at the castle, you passed out as soon as your head hit the pillow and woke up the next morning feeling great. A little sore, but great.

Your lover littered kisses along your spine as you both slowly got ready to get out of bed and get moving for the day. You adored the feeling of it. His hair trickled down your back as he tugged at the base of your wings lightly. They could be quite sensitive as he learned one night and liked to tease you about it often.

"We gotta get dressed Killer." You groaned as you stretched and pushed yourself up off the mattress.

"I know." He murmured, nipping along your jaw. "Kid's going to be a hassle today."

You giggled as you scratched his goatee. "That's no reason to stay in bed all day. The other captains will be here later and you gotta make sure he behaves himself."

"Do I get a reward if I can keep him from killing someone?" He asked with a hint of amusement.

"I don't see why not." You hopped out of bed, away from his lingering touch.

He followed after you and both of you got dressed. You opted for a pair of shorts and an old shirt of Killer's. He cut a couple slits in the back for you and would help you get your wings through it any time you wore it. When you had it on, it hung off your frame without hugging any of your curves. Killer liked it because it was something of his on you. You liked it because it made you look less enticing to other men. Can't be too careful with other pirates coming on the island.

It still wasn't enough for your partner apparently. After he got dressed, he pinned you to the bed long enough to mark up your neck. It was a clear signal to anyone who had their eyes on you long enough, you already had a lover. When he was satisfied with his work, he let you go and put his mask on, shoulders jumping up and down as he laughed silently at your flustered state.

"You big possessive brat!" You smacked his chest as he led you out of the room and too the kitchen.

"I'm sure you'll be the only woman on this island, I can't have anyone bothering you."

"I can handle myself thank you very much." You huffed, only earning another small fit of laughter from him as he ruffled your hair lovingly.

Killer didn't annoy you often, but when he did it never took long for you to get over it. He'd do his adorable quiet laugh and that's all it'd take to melt your heart. Yes, you found the ruthless massacre soldier cute. It was hard not to.

When you got to the kitchen, there were a few other crewmates ambling about, all of them looking rather grumpy. You weren't surprised. They were used to Killer cooking for them and he slept in this morning after the busy night you had. Everyone was too stupid to cook for themselves and were now hungry and cranky. You didn't see it, but you could feel a few men here and there shooting you dirty looks like it was your fault. If they only knew it was Killer who couldn't behave himself.

While he took his time getting something thrown together for the crew, you found a seat in the adjacent dining room with your other favorite people. Heat and Wire were sitting across from each other at a table, the first looking more depressing than ever as he wasted away, waiting for something to eat. You sat by Wire and bumped your shoulder against his.

"You guys know you don't have to wait for Killer to make you food all the time, right?"

"His cooking is worth waiting for." Heat mumbled, setting his chin on the wood surface of the table.

"What's your plan for today (Y/n)?" Wire asked.

"Dunno, maybe check out more of the island. Keep Cypher from trying to kill the other pirate crews."

"Let him eat a couple of them." Kid came by and sat on the other side of you, a heavy scowl already on his face.

"I'm pretty sure that's not all that polite Kid." You rolled your eyes. Killer was going to have to start watching over the grouchy captain early.

"Don't care. If they don't like it we can use the excuse that he's not really all that tame." He smiled blissfully at the thought of the wyvern tearing through a couple pirates.

"I don't think Killer would like that idea."

"Why the hell wouldn't he?"

"Because he wants this to work out." Heat interjected.

"That." You agreed with Heat. "And I promised him a reward if he can keep you from killing."

"That's too much information (Y/n)." Wire wrinkled his nose in disgust. He didn't want to think about someone who was like a sister to him doing dirty deeds with his friend.

"And I wouldn't be killing them anyway. It'd be your lizard." Kid held his face in his hand, squishing his cheek.

"It'd be you indirectly if you encourage it."

The crew lingering in the area quickly got up and went to the kitchen as Killer came by with plates full of food for you and the men sitting with you.

"Are we already talking about killing this early in the morning?" He grumbled.

Kid and Wire didn't move so he begrudgingly sat by Heat, across from you.

"Yep." You took a second to get the response out before digging in to breakfast. Heat was right, Killer's food was always worth waiting for.

"It's going to be one of those days." He sighed, eating noodles through the holes in his mask.

It looked absolutely rediculous and it was one thing you'd never get tired of. No one else you'd ever met went so far to hide something that they'd make a fool of themself like that. Though his reason for it still bothered you, he liked making you laugh with how silly his eating habits were. No one else dared laugh about it and he never let anyone else do it for that matter. You were a special case.

"I can't take you seriously like that." You stifled your laughter.

"Yeah?"

You could feel his eyes on you as he continued to eat. A single noodle smacked his mask before disappearing inside it and you snorted, unable to fight the giggles that came up.

"You two are gross." Kid said. "Why can't you just fuck and leave all this mushy shit for other people?"

"You're just jealous~" You cooed.

"Nope." He smirked at you confidently. "I get plenty of women every time we dock."

"Hey, good for you." You pat his shoulder and his smile dropped. Kid was expecting more of a disgusted reaction from you.

"You're fuckin' weird, you know that?"

"Oh yeah. Means I fit in great with you guys."

"She's not wrong." Wire chuckled when Kid glared at you.

You really did fit in around these guys. You don't know when that started to be the case, but you liked it.

----

The day went by pretty slowly as you poked around the island with Cypher. He stayed on the ground with you, snapping at any animal that passed by. A couple were unlucky enough to become his snacks.

There wasn't really anything else all that interesting around besides the castle and hot spring but you made your own fun hiking up to the top of the tallest mountain. Flying would have been much faster but where was the fun in that?

Killer was busy keeping Kid in line and the rest of the crew were stocking up on whatever they could get from the island. So you enjoyed your quiet time. Cypher actually made a great companion when you wanted company that didn't feel the need to fill the silence with constant chatter. Just about everyone else on the crew liked to do that and you weren't all that keen on putting up with it for long periods of time.

When you reached the peak of the mountain, you found a perfect spot to sit at the edge and kick your feet back and forth lazily. Cypher flopped down behind you, sending up a small puff of dirt in the process. His tail wrapped around you a couple times before the end laid in your lap. The spikes coming out of it made it look like he had a whole porcupine there. They rattled against each other as you gave his tail a pat and watched some of the men wander about below.

They looked like little ants from where you were. A few were around the castle, either goofing off or getting some supplies from it to take to the ship. Others were amongst the trees, seeing if they could hunt something down. Cypher brought in a lot of fish but some of the guys were craving other things. Red meat and whatever else they could find that resided in land as opposed to in the sea.

It was well past midday when you saw a couple ships coming in from two different directions. Your companion saw them at the same time, a discontent rumble working up his throat as his lips curled up into a reptilian snarl.

"It's all good tough guy." You gave his head a quick scratch when it was close enough. "Kid's just trying to make friends."

Noticing how calm you were, he relaxed a bit and chirped at you, head tilting slightly as his aggression turned to curiosity.

"Yeah, I know. Kid's not good at making friends. We'll have to see how this goes."
