Alec woke up by the sound of breeze and waves crashing, he could feel warmth spreading from under his cheek and his body that he never felt like this before. He felt like he was in one of his dreams but this is sort of a new dream. He could feel rise and fall from underneath his cheek and he thought he still be dreaming but when a soft touches stroking his hair back he literally jumped up and pants.

"Woah, woah, are you okay?" Magnus asked him frightened at his sudden jump. They locked eyes and Alec kept his distance apart from Magnus who now had his hand raise before him. Alec exhaled a relieve breath when he finally realized where he was exactly. "I'm sorry, I just thought-" Alec stutters still trying to adjust himself into this awkward situation.

"I see- I'm guessing you never woke up with someone next to you before? Or under you, before?" Magnus teased and Alec glared at him. "Don't start, it's still early." Alec replied, his voice still hoarse from yesterday's pain. He cleared his throat few times just to get his usual tone again.

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry. Come here." He gestured for Alec to come back into his arms but Alec shook his head relentlessly. "I'm fine." He said hugging his knees to his chest. "What's wrong?" Magnus asked as he sat up looking at Alec. He shook his head before darting his gaze towards Magnus, "Nothing, it's just - weird." He said and Magnus chuckled.

"Okay." Magnus nodded and they both sat in silence not knowing how to react. Both of them sat apart from each other, feeling the tension grew in the air as their gaze focused on anywhere else but at each other. Magnus was about to ask Alec but as he was about to, he could hear Alec's stomach rumbling.

Alec's eyes widen in embarrassment but earning Magnus another chuckled. "Breakfast?" He asked him and Alec nodded slowly. "I'm getting us some more fruits okay." He said and stood up immediately but Alec caught his hand stopping him from going. Magnus turned and looked down beside him seeing Alec's hand tangled in his, he smiled at the softest gesture he'd ever received.

"C-Could we eat something else?" He asked softly and let his eyes gazed up towards Magnus' face. A smile crept on Magnus' face once he heard Alec's voice and he kneeled to meet his gaze. "What you have in mind Alexander?" He asked unaware their hands still tangled with each other.

"Y-You said you're gonna fish-" Alec stopped mid sentence and let his gaze fall on the ground. He pulled his hand away from Magnus grip but Magnus holds it back tightly in his grip not letting him released. "Wanna help me?" He asked and Alec's smile came back on his face before he nodded. "Let's go." He said pulling Alec up but as soon as he did Alec winced grabbing his chest.

"Are you okay?" Magnus kneeled back beside him and Alec nodded before he released another sighed. "One of these days Alec, you'd have to tell me. Was it some kind of sport injury or something? You seemed like you're into soccer?" Alec shook his head making his face in disgust and let Magnus guessed again.

"No? Okay, maybe baseball?" Alec shook his head again, "Basketball?" Alec nodded with a smirk formed on the corner of his lips. "Thought so, come on, slowly." He helped him up and hold on to Alec's arm until he managed to stood on his own. "I'm okay, it's just sore." He said rubbing his chest with his finger. He knew one of these days he won't be able to hide it anymore but the thought on bonding with Magnus made him want to postponed it to another day. Just for few days, he thought, just for few more days they were on this island alone with Magnus treating him like how he always dreamt off, as a normal person, not a sick person he used to be.

Magnus been poking the water for almost an hour it seems to Alec. His stomach didn't settle for less since he is really hungry. Alec sat on the big stone while watching Magnus soaking himself halfway up to his waist. He had no shirt on exposing his curvature abs which had Alec difficulty to dart his eyes away.

"Any luck?" Alec asked him in annoyance while Magnus walked around in circle trying to poke one of the fish with his self made spear. "Patience Alexander. Patience." He said and with one final throw he able to catch a fish which they both had no idea what it was. "YEAH!!!" Magnus and Alec both screamed in happiness when he lifted the spear showing the fish dangled at the end.

"I told you I would caught it." He said climbing on top of the rock sitting next to Alec placing the fish and spear down next to him. "What would it be then Mr Lightwood? A grilled? Sushi?" Magnus asked holding the fish to Alec's face which he pushed it back. "Euw, no. Let's just hanged it by the fire." He said taking the fish from Magnus' hand and placed it back to their side.

"Well?" Magnus asked and as Alec turned he noticed how Magnus had his face inches away from his and he tilted it to his side with a playful smile on his face. "What?" Alec asked innocently unable to read Magnus' mind. "I think you owe me a date Lightwood." He said and Alec had to hide his smile so he rubbed both of his lips together.

"What makes you think that?" He asked and Magnus smirk grew. "I told you before, we had a deal, if I caught a fish, you would go on a date with me." He said and Alec had to turn his gaze away from Magnus plump lips towards anywhere else that is less distracting but somehow falls on Magnus brown eyes which made him even harder to concentrate.

"I think you said something else." Alec refused to say the word when the thought itself made him turned to tomato red. "What did I say?" Magnus asked whispering his words while he leaned closer. "T-That you sleep with me." Alec said and Magnus was taken back by his own words. He stares at Alec's innocent face knowing how it affects Alec so much.

"How about a new deal then." He said again and Alec gulped bobbing his throat up and down. He could feel the bile rising behind his chest making it burnt in hesitant.

"What do you want?" Alec asked unaware how dangerously close their face are. He could feel Magnus hot breath fanning his face and so does Magnus. "A kiss." Magnus said and Alec's eyes widen upon the words. Without his own mind processed the whole conversation, his face leaned forward crashing their lips together in one breath.

Magnus thought it was just a dream but when Alec's lips crashed into his, he felt fireworks burning in his chest. Their kiss deepen and heat rises between them making Magnus raised his hand and cupped Alec's cheek. His lips didn't leave Alec not a second and slowly he let his tongue dominate their kisses. He could feel how Alec wanted to take control but he is stronger, more experienced.

Alec was in the clouds having Magnus' tongue inside his mouth and their kisses deepen in seconds. Magnus hand roamed behind his neck and grabbed him closer. But somehow the little voices inside Alec's mind found their way in and he remembered the last time he kissed Magnus.

"No one wants to kiss someone as bitter as you Alexander. It had to be drunk as me in order to find the need to do so. I mean look at you- you don't even like your own body how would you expect other people to like it for you?"

The thought made Alec's stomach churned and he pushed Magnus' from their kiss. "What? What is it? Did I hurt you?" He asked and Alec shook his head with a force smile on his face. "Uhm, no. It's just - it's - too fast." He lied and removed his gaze away. Magnus could sense something is troubling Alec in his mind which he can now read him like an open book.

"Alexander tell me. Please. I can't handle anymore secrets from you." Magnus said, his voice sounded sternly making Alec fidgeting in his seat. He picked on the rough surface that covers the stone with his finger unable to look at Magnus in his eye. He knew if he did he would either cry or they both will get into a fight again.

"I'm not leaving till you tell me what is going on in your head." He warned and Alec couldn't hide his emotion anymore. The words keep replaying in his mind like a broken tape which made his chest burned even worst for saying it.

"TELL ME." Magnus said, his words seething through his teeth and Alec couldn't help but feared of what he had in his mind. "Y-You told me before, no one would want to kiss me, you had to be drunk to do so." Magnus couldn't believe how his words still affects Alec although it was days ago he said those to him.

"Like you said, how can I have anyone to like me if I- if I couldn't love myself." Alec's voice changed and Magnus could hear his voice cracks. He hated himself for what he did to Alec and made him feels the worst about himself.

"Alexander." He said and grabbed both of Alec's hand into his making him turned to face him. Alec still had his gaze down which made Magnus cupped his cheek so he would looked at him in the eyes. "Listen to me." He said as soon as their eyes met. "I'm sorry for what I said to you before, I mean it. I hated myself sometime for saying things I don't mean just so I could hurt other people."

Alec stares at Magnus honest eye and listen to him attentively. "I mean it when I said this, you are never to put yourself lower than others. I like you just the way you are, even though you're killing me each day with our fights." Alec's eyes grew wider when he heard the words. "What did you say?" He asked him again and Magnus pulled his hand away from Alec's face knowing what he just said.

"Uhm, I mean- you know like a friend. You don't have to change just because other people don't like the way you are." He tried to hide his embarrassment away and let Alec thought run freely. "Come on, let's burn this fish." He said taking his spear and the dead fish and jumped into the water leaving Alec alone with his thought.

Alec followed him eventually unable to stop thinking about what he said but he chose to not embarrassed Magnus further. Magnus finally cooked the fish and cut them in half. He placed them on the folded banana leaves he made and gave them to Alec.

"How was it?" He asked and Alec chewed it slowly. "I guess it's okay, it's just the after taste." He said and Magnus nodded. "I told you sushi is better." He said and Alec snickered. "Thank you." Alec said abruptly causing Magnus to stop chewing and stares at his face. "What? Why?" He asked and Alec placed the food down, wiping his hand on his pants. His mother would be screaming at him if she finds out but she's not here and that is the least of her worry right now.

"For everything. What you did to my family, giving them their dream vacation, for these." Alec gestured the food and the hut and Magnus had to smile. "You're welcome Alexander. I'm honored." He said before took another bite off his fish.

Alec had to gave up on the fish since it's too weird for him to taste and grabbed the fruit even though he said he had enough with it. Magnus chuckled when Alec almost throw up for eating it.

The day goes by in a flash and next thing they knew it was almost dark. Magnus and Alec had a greatest time from going fishing together to swimming together at the waterfall. It's purely heaven and for once, they both enjoyed themselves together alone on this island.

Later that night they both lay next to each other gazing on the stars. There is no lights surround them except for their fire which helps them to see the sky brighter like the days. They were talking about their favorite book, favorite food, which hockey team is the best. Truthfully, they had much in common more than they thought.

Both of them loves pizza on Friday night while watching movies at home. They both love having big family. Magnus talks about his future is pursuing his dream as a race car driver if he could run away from his father. But when he asked Alec what his future would be, Alec couldn't answer.

The thought on future never really did occur in Alec's mind. For years he never did think he would need a future to look forward too. He always wanted to become a lawyer like his mum, he wanted to fight cases and defended the innocent victim. But ever since he got sick, the thought diminished and it shuts off away from his mind. But tonight Magnus had to ask and he felt like he still able to do so.

"Alexander?" He asked turning his body to face him. "What's on your mind?" He asked, letting his finger stroking Alec's hair away from his forehead. Alec had to turned his head to the side to face him and Magnus noticed how his eyes had reddened. He didn't asked further but to wrap his arm around Alec's and hugged him.

Magnus lay back with Alec hugging his chest and he couldn't understand why Alec's sobbing inconsolably. He stroked Alec's back and his head hushing him words to soothe him. "It'll be alright, we will be saved trust me. I know my father would hire an army to look for me." He said and Alec just nodded. If only Magnus knew he was crying about something else but since he couldn't tell him, he just kept quiet.

"Magnus?" Alec called after a while they both lay in each others arm. He hummed in response but didn't exactly answer Alec. "I have to tell you something." He said and Magnus hummed again. "What is it?" He asked, his words slurred as he answered.

"I might not be able to get out from this island alive." He said and waited for Magnus' response but all he could hear was silence. He looked up and saw Magnus was already falling asleep with his eyes closed and his mouth slightly apart. A breathtaking view for Alec but he couldn't help but felt a little relief that Magnus didn't hear him.

"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you this. I was so afraid of losing my time but never enjoyed them much. You helped me a lot in it. You helped me to feel like I was not sick anymore. I just wished I had more time with you." He couldn't help but letting his tears fall from the corner of his eyes as he gazed upon Magnus' face.

"Thank you for making me feel love, for giving me my first kiss. I'm so sorry for hiding it from you. But this is the only way I could have you treat me unlike the others." Alec leaned and kissed Magnus on his lips. The kiss were just a peck on the lips but it was enough for Alec, more than enough. The pain he felt grew stronger each day but he couldn't deny his feelings towards Magnus anymore, he like him too, so much than he would ever imagined although it's driving him crazy sometimes.

Magnus stirs for a while and went back to sleep, his eyes still closed and soft snores coming out from his mouth which earned Alec a smile. Something he would never forgets, his time here with Magnus is just another memories he had to bring with him to the other side when he died. Magnus would be another person he had to destroyed by his sickness.
