Jay paced back and forth. "It just doesn't make sense. What would the Coisson want with the doctor? Why him of all people?" Wayne shrugged.

"I dunno man, I just got the facts. Not the specifics. But I have a feeling that we might want to see these creatures for ourselves." Jay shook his head.

"I don't know about that. I mean, look at what happened to Dr. Coisson. He disappeared without a trace. We have no way of tracking him, so even if we did want to find these beasts ourselves, we'd have no idea where to look." Wayne frowned. "This is probably important. We need to find these creatures. I can feel it. It just seems right." He stared hard at Jay. "We have a beacon attached to this place. We can disable it for a few days, wait until we see a Coisson and what direction it wants us to go in, and then follow it after activating the beacon again." Jay still looked skeptical.

Meanwhile, the rest of the crew had gathered silently in the doorway, listening to the argument. "Jay?" asked Rachel, stepping forwards. "I kinda think that we should do this." He stared at her. Rachel continued.

"I mean, I've learned that when Wayne has a sort of 'gut instinct', it's usually pretty spot-on. It sounds crazy, but I trust him." Quince took a step towards Rachel, and put a hand on her shoulder. She jumped a bit, but other than that, didn't react.

"Wayne's my friend," Quince said. "And even though I don't believe in this kind of thing, I think he might just be able to see the future." He took a deep breath before continuing. "If you don't want to go, fine. But I just want to say"-he addressed Wayne-"I'll be there when you leave." Rachel nodded in agreement.

Everyone seemed to hold their breath as Jay considered. He sighed. "We're not splitting up. If you want to go on this expedition, then we'll all go on this expedition."

Wayne, Rachel, and Quince cheered. "Alright!" Exclaimed Quince, high-fiving Wayne. "We're going on a trip!"

Jay smiled. "Try to pack light," he recommended. "We don't know how far away these creatures live. We'll split up the food evenly, and everyone should take their own water. We leave in the morning. Be ready."
