Quince swam towards the entrance of the hole in the reef after Rachel, and poked his head in. His eyes widened in amazement.

They were looking into a huge cave. The bottom was covered in large indents that some Coissons were using as nests. There were lots of tunnels going down, and Coissons were swimming through them, presumably coming from or going to lower levels of the cave. The ceiling and walls were covered in bio-luminescent algae, which lit up the cave with a soft glow.

By the time Quince finished taking the scene in, the rest of the crew had gathered around the hole, and were looking in at the amazing society that these creatures had built. 

Rachel motioned for the others to join her on the surface. They swam towards the top of the huge natural structure, and sat on the edge of the rock.

A few Coissons were snoozing in the sunlight, enjoying the warmth of the rock.

"This place is truly amazing," exclaimed Cinnamon, her eyes shining.

"I know," agreed Liza. "It's so cool how the Coissons have created this perfect living space. They've got food, shelter, and a great place to relax!"

"But how do we introduce our Coissons to this colony?" asked Jay. "Galaxy has a natural leading instinct, so I'm not sure how well she'll react to no longer being in charge."

"There's not much we can do about that, I guess," replied Liza. "We just need to let them interact, and sort it out by themselves."

Jay sighed. "I just wish we had a better plan. I don't want this to go badly."

With the meeting finished, they went back underwater. The Coissons were still wating for them, although Quince could tell that they weren't happy about it.

Rachel swam up to Galaxy. The two of them seemed to have some sort of bond. Rachel pointed towards the colony, and Galaxy barked, which sounded weird underwater.

The rest of the Coissons followed her, and they swam towards the colony.

Quince looked over at Rachel. She looked sad to be leaving her friend, hut she also looked relieved. Maybe because the Coissons were saved? He could never tell with girls.

Their mission finished, the group set out back to their base.
