5. Showtime
Eric didn't have long to wait. The moment that Ursula slipped away, the Mermaid rose softly from the water beside him.
Her auburn hair, dark and sleek over her shoulders, the curve of her breasts made him catch his breath. Her intoxicating green eyes and full, luscious lips.
His blood pounded in his ears where he spotted what she had in her hands. Strings of pearls, ranging from black to cream, thick to thin. They made a dull, clinking sound as she slowly pulled them through her fingers. She smiled and tilted her head to the side while she studied his body. Then she drifted against him, her warmth raising his blood pressure higher.
Putting the pearls over her head, Ariel stroked the necklaces into place across her chest. Her eyes glowed and she bit her bottom lip, her gaze fixed on Eric's torso.
"Touch the pearls," Ariel's deep, demanding tone brought sweatbeads to Eric's brow.
He reached out a hand, warily.
"You're taking too long." Ariel snapped, and yanked his arm, dislocating his shoulder.
He cried out at the sudden pain. No longer aroused by the moment.
"Aah, leave me alone, please!"
Ariel dropped Eric's useless arm and let out a horrendous scream of delight, before grasping his head between vice-like hands, and screeching at him.
"Human, you will never be alone again. You will stay down here, with me. Then, when I am finished with you..."
Eric fought to get a hold on the slippery rocks with his feet, if he could manage to push off from the wall of the cavern, he'd have a chance to break free. Her phenomenal strength threatened to crush his skull.
"You will spend the rest of eternity rotting away at the bottom of the ocean, your remains nibbled and regurgitated by stinking, little creatures. Now let's have some fun, shall we?"
Ariel released her grip and leapt up, throwing the necklaces over Eric's head.
He automatically tried to raise his injured arm and yelled out in shock, his other arm succeeded in doing his bidding, and he trapped two fingers under the pearls before they were ripped back against his throat.
Ariel giggled, swimming around to face him, the pearls tightening around his neck. Something happened below the water and the Mermaid had possession of his manhood.
Thrashing her tail, her ferocity turned the water to a whitefoam. Eric closed his eyes and concentrated on flexing his captured fingers, maintaining a breathable gap. The ache in his damaged shoulder constant and unyielding. Pearls pushed harder against his throat, threatening to break through the skin. His windpipe became tight, his bruised Adam's apple struggled to move when he swallowed. Was he going to make it? Would she ever be satisfied and set him free?
Ariel threw back her head and screamed into the cavern, the echo returning again and again. Her fingers dropped the pearls and she pushed away from him.
Eric scrambled his bleeding, throbbing fingers loose and tore off the necklaces. He shook them at her, rage coursing through his words as he shouted at her.
"You witch! You evil, little creature. I should kill you."
The Mermaid smiled and began to braid her hair. Her voice, soft and sickly sweet.
"My human. How funny you are. I can snap your neck in an instant. I could turn you into a fish, or, maybe an octopus. Hmm, yes, then you can keep Ursula happy too. She must be so lonely, being the only one of her kind. Such a pity that her husband and children drowned before I could turn them into amusing servant creatures too. Oh well, a girl can't have everything I suppose."
Eric's eyes misted over as he thought of the torment Ursula must have lived with. His good hand curled in a tight fist.
The Mermaid yawned, then smiled, showing her razor sharp teeth.
"You need to rest for me now, human. I am going to gather my strength as well. Let's see what fun we can have afterwards. Sweet dreams." She sank under the water and the push of the current against his legs told him she'd swum away.
From the shadows of the rocks, tentacles stretched out and Ursula pulled herself into view. Tears reflected in silver streams down her cheeks. She flicked out a limb to help support Eric from sinking under. Another of her arms took hold of the necklaces from his hand and she attempted to smile.
"Well done, Eric. Now we can kill her."
