Poison
Poison people, poison words
What do those words mean to you?
Poison, to me, is like a disease. It spreads from one to another, passed along by sharp words, double edges phrases, backstabbing actions, and the pain that can only occur when someone is hurt by someone they love.
Poison can fester, if left alone. Some people think that they can keep it all to themselves, to keep the poison from spreading, to protect those they love.
But that's when people get hurt the most.
You'll either lash out in such an explosive way that everyone will be hurt, and you'll have to live with that guilt for as long as it takes for you to forgive yourself.
Or
You'll keep it locked up. You'll never tell anyone what's wrong, and the poison will slowly eat away at at. At who you are, at what you want to be, at who you once were. It destroys you.
And yet... some people have found a balance, although a shaky one, it is still a balance. They know how to release the poison in a way that no one is hurt by it, or there's minimal damage that they can easily fix.
How?
How can they possible find that fragile line between hurting others and hurting yourself? It's such a thin line, grey in areas, and so hard to find it is as if it never existed.
And yet, they do.
Humanity in general can't control the poison. But, there are special people, some from every generation, who are able to find that line, that lead other to it, that walk the invisible barrier that we all seek.
I just want to know one thing...
Why is it so hard to find those people?
