I'm walking down a winding road on a warms summer day.

I look around at all the leaves swaying in the soft summer breeze.

Thinking to myself why did you have to go away?

I feel you every where I go I see you in the trees.

When I asked them why you left they gently looked at me.

They said they don't know why but how could that be?

Wasn't being here enough for you.

Don't you know when you left apart of me did too?

I cried on the day you were laid to rest.

Praying for the very best.

I talk about you now and again.

You were and still are one of my best friends

The pain of you not being here tears me up inside.

I just want to really know why you had to die.

Why did you have to go away?

Why couldn't you just stay?

I miss you dearly my sweet friend.

An so until we meet once again I continue to love you every day.

I'll let you know I take you with me and I'll never let you go.

I wish that you were here with us but I know it can't be so.

There's just one thing I must say.

To you my friend on this summers day.

I love you always and want you to know.

I take you with me everywhere I go.

You may be gone but your in my heart.

For we were never meant to part.

I wish you the best and I'll see you soon.

Now before the sun turns to the moon.

For now I think I'll let you go but not before I say.
