I was in a peaceful sleep until I got woken up by a ray of light shining through the big curtains that covered  up the window that had a marvelous view of the ocean as I opened my eyes I almost forgot I was in crosses castle I sat up and stretched my arms to losses up I got up and changed into a nice outfit I knew I loved cross but I was scared he didn't like me back but now that I have been with him for a while so today im going to tell him how I feel ima try to in the first time since the incident try to speak they said I was  going to be mute and that it was permanent but ima at least try  so after I got dressed I headed to crosses room I knew a lot of good spots but crosses and I  favorite was the secret place in the garden only him and me know about an before I knew it I was right outside of his door about to knock all the confidence that I had built up  for this moment was now gone

I actually got some sleep so I wasn't a walking zombie for the day I got dressed and I was worried about nightmare because I had to break the news to him about what I saw in my dad's study and I was about to walk out when I was faced to face with a surprised-looking nightmare ¨ OH MY NIGHTMARE ¨ I screamed and fell backward on my back nightmare started bursting out into laughter I got back up and nightmare seemed to stop laughing I was embarrassed I started chasing him down the hallways he looked behind his shoulder to see how far behind I was ¨ NIGHTMARE WATCH OUT¨ but it was too late he bumped into my dad and feel back ¨ oh my are you ok ¨ he asked nightmare looked at his exposed arm that had scales on it but quickly hid them so no one could see but I clearly did my dad held out his arm for him to grab and he did he made the gesture that he was sorry and my dad understood he said it was alright later that day I brought nightmare to our private beach so no one could see him I let him turn into a mermaid and let him swim around we where talking and relaxing till nightmare froze the look of fear on his face I turnd to find my dad and his crew with whaling sticks in there hands ¨ so its ture your friend is a mermaid he would make big bucks for his tail ¨ my father said with a grin ¨ I wont let you hurt him ¨ I shot back but by the time I finished they where charging at us I soon rememberd what dream said so I took nightmares arm and dove into the water swiming as far a I could away from the castle with nightmare crying in my arms we reached nightmares castle and rushed to the throne room to be met by dream and their father ¨ CROSS what hapend ¨ dream lookd frantic nightmare only barring into my chest more ¨ my father found out he was a mermaid ¨ i said and looked down at nightmare looking up at me worridly ¨ who are you and why do you have my son ¨ dreams father I belive said he sounded angry but relived that nightmare was ok ¨ im cross sir im one of nightmares friends I saved him from when he got badly ingured he lived in my castle above land for a while until it was safe to come back here sir¨ I spoke trying to sound calm but I was scared he stared at me for a sec but then nodded dream huged nightmare and he hugged back ¨ nightmare is this ture you know this person ¨ the king asked nightmare nodded * hes my best friend * night signd his dad looked confused but then worried I translated ¨ he said im his best friend ¨ nightmare nodded after a few questions me and dreams dad became good friends and I knew he trusted me I was going to stay with nightmare not wanting to go back to my fathers castle because I was furioss with him wanting to hurt nightmare I was never going to let anyone hurt him but then the trident came back to mind I gusse I should tell the king tomarrow just for safe messures
