After nightmare and his brother dream left I had to go back to my room so once I got to my balcony I had to climb up thankfully it wasn't too high so I could once I was inside my room I heard a knock on my door followed by a ¨ prince cross you father wants to see you in the throne room in two minutes ¨ and after that, I heard footsteps leading away from my room till there where non at all I sighed ¨ I should get dressed ¨ as I went to the closet I picked out one of my good outfits because no doubt my dad is going to try to hook me up with some spoiled girl that only wants me for money and fame 

( WHAT HE WHERES ) 

one I got my outfit on I looked at myself in the big floor mirror I had and the colors reminded me of nightmare  I smiled at the thought and went on my way to the throne room 

( time skip brought to you by my lazy ass) 

I was out in the garden with this girl that my dad wanted me to get married to like all the others she had this greenish teal drees that were nice and flowy it wasn't over the top like the others which I liked she said her name was Miah 

( WHAT SHE IS WEARING ) 

we talked for a little while about our likes and interests and our kingdomes she told me how she loved the ocean which I guess we both have in common but I lov- *cough* like someone in the ocean ¨ hey can I ask you a question¨ she asked and I nodded ¨ok this may seem a little childish but... do you believe in mermaids or merfolk ¨ this caught me off guard but I answered truthfully ¨yea I do ¨ and once I said that she looked so happy 

she told me all about the stories she has heard about them and how she wishes she could meet one someday I was thinking in my head if I should tell her about nightmare I decided not to and soon enough we became great friends she also told me her darkest secret that she loved someone else a commoner I told her I was gay and she asked If I liked anyone I said no because I didn't it was soon sunset and we headed back inside and it became night she headed to her room because she and her mother were staying the night it was midnight and I forgot to change my close but I climbed down my balcony like always and waited for nightmare but...

he never came I thought it was just a one-time thing but he didn't come the next night or the night after that he soon didn't come for 6 weeks and I was heartbroken that he didn't come but one day I was waiting still with a little hope that he might come and something caught my eye goldtail swimming up to me the mermaid popped its head above the water it was dream ¨ dream what are you doing here?- ¨ I asked but got cut off my him ¨no time to explain nightmare needs you ¨ he sounded frantic ¨ what whats wrong with nightmare !?¨  I asked surprised and worried he told me everything that has happened  ( from the last chapter)  I felt angry he said he needs me to come to his kingdom but I asked how I cant breath underwater then he pulled out a black pearl I stared at it for a moment ¨ JUST EAT IT ¨ he said annoyed I looked at him in shock ¨ ok?...¨ I ate but after I felt weird my head started to hurt and I couldn't feel my legs and my vision went blurry after what I think was a minute my vision cleared and I saw I had a tail ¨ AHHHHHHH HOLY TAIL ¨ I screamed 

( HIS TAIL) 

¨ jeez relax you can turn back once you go on land and dry off ¨ dream said I looked at him for a moment then nodded ¨ sooo uhhh how do I use this thing dream ¨ I asked him he told me to get in the water and so I did he taught me the basic movements of the tail and after at least an hour we were off to nightmare
