Ocean Genesis

Avatar: The way of water

The chiefs and a small batallion of their clans travelled to their reef. It was the celebration of Aonung and Li' Aeyana.

Sitting on a rock on the surface Neteyam and his brother and sisters watched from a far as Ronal and Tonowari welcomed their guest. The celebration would last for two days. A day for each twin. The Sullys were more than welcomed to the feast, but the second Neteyam saw the sons of each clan he needed to clear. Three sons and he could already tell by the grimace on her face that she would not want one, neither deserved her.

Lo'ak was the first to notice the change in his brother demeanour. Neteyam swore he did not care but the glare on his face said something else.

"Uh-Oh." Kiri's voice teased as she and Tuk joined their brothers.

"What?" Neteyam calmly asked as his eyes did not leave Li' Aeyana as she walked along the coast

"Is it not obvious?" Kiri sarcastically noted "Someone is in love."

"With who?" Neteyam retorted to which both Kiri and Lo'ak laughed "I don't think so. She is mean and think I'm a skxawng! Why would I like someone like that?"

"Bro, you drool every time she makes eye contact with you." Lo'ak quickly added as his finger hovered over Neteyam "You can actually see a little right there..." To which his brother quickly swatted his hand away

"Stop it." Neteyam tried to silence them when Tuk bluntly asked

"Do you want to marry her?"

He swallowed the gusp of hair as he looked startled to his youngest sister. "What? No?! Why would you think that?!" He quickly questioned the young girl

"Because I heard mom say you like her." Tuk innocently answered "And dad said she likes you two. I heard heard talking about the two of you."

Neteyam could not see it. He could not see why everyone was stating that he- the thought of even. No, we can hardly stand each other he thought to himself.
"Well they are wrong." He corrected them "We only stand each other for lessons and nothing else."

"If it's only for that, then why are you jealous." Tuk fired back

"I am not jealous!" Neteyam exclaimed

"Then why are you getting so mad!" Kiri added unable to contain her laughter

JuTuaro was from The Tayrangi Clan, also known as the Ikran People of the Eastern Sea, are a coastal Na'vi clan known for their ikran riding prowess. he Terran cormorant fish, then flying back out. They had a deep knowledge of the air and sea, including underwater migratory and feeding patterns meaning that Ronal would pray to Eywa that he would be the one to win Li' Aeyanna's affection unfortunately she could already tell he would not be the one.

Returning to the reef with him as their fathers waited for them. A mutual respect shown between the two olo'eykta as both hoped their children would be taken with one another, Tonowari could tell by the grimace on his daughters face that he was not the one.

"Father!" He called to their patents in discussion "I wish to marry her. She is the one!"

He gripped Li' Ayeanna hand as he raised it , applaud from their clans following as she jerked her hand away

"Wait-" the applaud of their clans silenced

"Why? You're everything I could want. You are beautiful." JuTuaro complimented as she crossed her arms

"Thank you , but what else?" This stunned him as an awful silence surrounded them to which Ronal disaprovingly shook her head.

"What else is there?" JuTuaro asked as even his father shook his head in disapproval. This told Li' Aeyana everything she needed to know. He was not interested in her at all, he only wanted the girl who shared the face of Ronal. Li' Aeyana counted to ten as he was slowly irritated her only more

"Is that all that matters to you?" She accused to which he could not reply. She had heard enough as she pushed through the crowds storming away with her sister following behind her.

Tsireya and Li' Aeyanna returned to her cove as she ripped the heads off her clothes as she undid her hair. She knew she had few patience for men, but if this was the start of preparations to find her husband, she shivered in thinking what the end result would be. Feeling the sand under her feet calmed her but only for a second as she noticed the figure of a specific dark blue Na'Vi at the coast.

Jerking his shoulder as he turned to face her, agitated and irritated she sharply questioned him

"What are you doing here? This is my cove?" She accused to which he returned her irritation and anger

He saw the cheers of clans , which only meant one thing. She had found the person she would spend her life with. He was beyond livid, for him to think he could deserve her.

"Shouldn't you be preparing a feast with your betrothed?" Neteyam sharply asked to which Tsireya and Lo'ak looked to each other , shocked by both their siblings tempers flaring against each others.

"He is not my-" She groaned "That doesn't explain why you are here. This is my spot!" Li' Aeyana exclaimed as she blew strands of her hair out of her face

"Woah, I think we all need to calm down. We thought we'd practice on our breathing so we came here." Lo'ak stepped in between the two as their hot breathes pushed against one another.

"I don't care. The last thing I need is more men around me!" Li' Aeyana stepped back looking to Tsireya "I want him-" Li' Aeyana directly pointed to Neteyam "Gone!"

"Aeyana, don't be rude." Her sister embarrassedly excused

"No, I must have men around me for two days, I want my privacy and he-" once again pointing to Neteyam, which he himself did not appreciate as he gentle placed her finger aside " Won't give me."

It was clear that she was unhappy. A side of herself she did not often reveal, to anyone. Neteyam could only imagine the severe stress she could be experiencing, and this on the day of her birth. Neteyam could tell by her exhausted green eyes that there was no point in arguing anymore. Soon finding the error in his ways, he attempted to fix it

"I think we understood each other wrongly-"

"Well, I think we did too." Li' Aeyana calmed herself "And I appreciate your apology."

This quickly irked Neteyam "Apology. Who said anything about apologizing. I was only suggesting-"

Li' Aeyana quickly shushed him "Please, stop speaking before you make it all worse."

"I was only going to suggest that we can all be here."

"Fine, if you get quiet." Li' Aeyannna snarled

"Fine."

"Fine."

The pairs sat by the coast, unironically the pair sat next to each other in sands as their shoulders brushed against one another's

"You think you'll miss it? The forest?" Li' Aeyanna asked referring to home for Lo'ak and Neteyam in attempt to make peace. Though Neteyam only heard the first half as he quickly replied

"Miss what, your talking?" Both scoffed to one another as both held their breath as the realized their shoulders were against each others.
