ABDUCTED NOT ACQUIRED
Ravan, the evil king of Lanka landed down from puspak vimaan, dragging a woman who was trying hard to get rid of his hold. She had agony in eyes which were still hoping the worst scenario of her life to get changed as if she had any nightmare.
The woman was seeming no ordinary human being in terms of beauty and bravery. She was none other than mata Sita, shakti of Shri Ram.
Ravan halted at a beautiful garden, and handed over the responsibility of looking after mata Sita to Trijata, the chief demoness at that place. He even ordered Trijata to convince mata Sita for accepting his proposal of being his queen.
Mata Sita who was agonised during her abduction had collected all her bravery to face Ravan. She had faced Ravan many times before Shri Ram could face Ravan in the actual battlefield.
"Sita, forget that forest dweller husband of yours. What does he have to provide you? I am the king of the golden city Lanka. I have immeasurable wealth, comfort and power. Get agree to be mine," Ravan approached with the greed of material pleasure at first.
"Don't think that your husband can reach here to rescue you. If he manages to do so by chance then his life won't be spared from the dangerous demons reside here," he chose to make her afraid when the first approach failed.
"Your husband has nothing to be compared with me. I am the one who have won the earth and the heaven. Deities of heaven start to tremble in my name. I have even captured nine planets who decide future of human beings. I have blessings of Lord Brahm and Lord Shiva. I am undefeated, Sita. No one can win over me," the cunning demon attempted to put her morals down, assuming that would definitely have an impact on her.
"May you be the powerful one, but my lord is the righteous source of power. No matter how much you try but you can't win over me let alone defeating my lord," mata Sita, the woman of unlimited virtues had many weapons to encounter the demon. Among many she chose confidence to beat the arrogance of the demon.
Mata Sita stood strong all the time which became an invisible inspiration for Shri Ram to reach Lanka building bridge over the vast sea. Her trust for him fought the battle along with against the demons.
Ravan was so over confident when his son Meghnaad bound Shri Ram and Lakshman with Naag phas. He started dreaming about winning the war when Meghnaad launched fatal attack on Shri Lakshman.
He went near mata Sita to show off the victory he had got, temporarily. He tried to break her, but she didn't let him successful. Her trust was unaffected, and her prayers were like undefeated aspirations.
Finally, Shri Ram won the battle against Ravan, marking his end and suffering of all living beings. The victory belonged not only to Shri Ram and warriors fought for him but also to mata Sita who fought a battle at another side.
Even though that was somehow less recognised yet was registered on the pages of history with its own significance.
