Pain
~A year after the rescue of Rainy~
Father.... Why?...
After meeting Izuku, All Might and Father forced me to stop training and to never use my quirk again and to move from private home school into UA's general studies.
HE SENT ME! HIS ONE DAUGHTER TO GENERAL STUDIES!
As if I meant nothing to him!
Why why would Aizawa my father do this?... He had to love me didn't he?
I meant something did I not? Did I fail him? Was I a bad girl like my siblings?
Was he going to dispose of me?
I didn't want Father Aizawa to hate me...
I wanted him and All Might to love me...
They saved me, they found me, they took their time and raised me and taught me.
Was I not good enough?
Did Midoryia just mean more to them than me?
Aizawa said I couldn't use my quirk because people would think I was a villain if I tried to help them. All Might told me that I couldn't be a hero if I only could scare people that I needed to set my sights on something I could realistically reach.
It hurt so much.... why did it hurt so much....
They didn't love me anymore...
I was all alone.....
Aizawa never really let me leave the teachers lounge or my school dorm without him to accompany me...
Pres Mic had gotten me a small song bird to keep me company in my dorm so I'd have someone to talk to.
It wasn't long till I realize that bird in its cage was just like me, tied in place unhappy that it couldn't spread its wings. I sighed rubbing my shoulder sore. My wings had started to feel heavier lately it was like carrying a 10 foot burden to keep hidden. I opened the door to the song birds cage letting it out to fly free in my room. I smiled in joy and jealousy at the small bird singing happily with its newfound space. I slowly began to remove my clothing garments simply letting them drop to the floor what remained was my body covered in bandages except my wings as I stretched them out feeling relieve. The small bird who had been with me for a few years as I was now in my last year of general studies had perched itself on my shoulder in contentment. I was glad Melody my small friend was smart and brave. Aizawa and pres Mic didn't know that sometimes I would open my window and let Melody fly about for a while before she would always return to my shoulder happy to have time to stretch and relax. Aizawa would have taken Melody away if he knew she wasn't living inside her tiny cage. He disapproved of any mess and strongly believe that she would only disappoint him. I felt terrible for Melody, having never really experiencing true freedom.
