Appearance: Gardenia is, bluntly put, flashy as all get-out. Her long mane of maroon hair is never bound or fettered, and she meticulously applies her makeup so that she draws special attention to her blue eyes and full lips, all for the sake of drawing a crowd. Her attire is no less attention-grabbing: Typically, she'll don a short, flouncy black dress that cinches tight at her waist but offers short, loose sleeves, black, fingerless gloves unrolled to her elbows, white tights, black, kitten-heeled boots, and a top-hat adorned with a glitter-drenched silver star.

On her person (concealed in various ways), she'll keep a variety of smoke bombs, and other things of the like. Also, tucked into the belt around her waist is a typical magician's black-and-white wand that she casually incorporates into her act.

Personality: Very deserving of her ostentatious attire, Gardenia (preferably Nia) loves to be the center of attention. Loud and overbearingly friendly on most occasions, Nia sells herself to be an eager young girl who perhaps has a screw or two loose, judging by the intensity of her personality and how she interacts with others. But she's calculatingly clever just beneath the surface, sharing her brother's acting skills; she's capable of fooling an entire village into eating up her act with minimum effort, though not for lack of experience. She's spent years cultivating a persona for herself, and she's quite pleased with the current product.

The real Nia is still quite outgoing and friendly, but toned down to that of a normal person's level, and she's very devoted to her loved ones (though that doesn't always extend to her family).

Preferred Method of Fighting: Nia actually dislikes dirtying her hands in an actual fight, and uses more subtle means to escape a brawl, such as her smoke bombs, and whatever other devices she's cooked up for herself. She's incredibly agile and can move as fluidly as a gymnast, which is another part of her act as well as her escape plans.

Short History: Branching off from Galileo's history, Nia left home at the age of fourteen, unable to stomach living with her pirate-hating family any longer. She'd grown up fascinated with the carefree men who invaded her hometown, and as a young child, the idea of wandering the open sea and embracing that sort of freedom was imprinted onto her dreams. Thus, she left the first chance she got, and set off for her own journey.

Dream: She's nurtured an idle dream for some time now, one where she's able to steal something from one of the Supreme Admirals without getting caught. But seeing as she's unlikely to ever come close enough to one of the Admirals for that to happen, she's settled on just causing as much mischief as possible in her day-to-day life.

Other: Her pet, Lana (a young Lapin/Lapahn she picked up from Drum Island) resides in her top hat most of the time, only coming out when Nia calls or when she senses danger. As far as Nia knows, Lana's mother died sometime after giving birth to her, and if now for Nia's intervention, she most likely would have perished as well on the island.
