Sorry, Spider
Reunited pt. 2
"Mmh this is- Uh! Uh!- nice..." Rachael moans quite loudly in all honestly. "You're one hell of a- Ow! Slow down there, spider!- hell of a scientist."
"H-how-hows that?" Peter asks between pants, from underneath her on his living room couch.
"You just proved time travel is possible. One kiss and we're back to the way everything's supposed to be- Ah! Yeah! Right- right there. Uh, well now you're going too slow-" Rachael speaks almost breathlessly.
"I mean I'm good, but I don't think I'm good enough to-" Peter chuckles, getting interrupted by a harsh knock at the front door. "Shit..."
The knocks continued rapidly, only getting more loud and forceful. "I swear to God, Parker! You better open this Goddamned door right now! I've been calling you for thirty minutes and I know you're home because you're not out on patrol!"
"Fuck! It's your dad." Peter says quickly as she jumped off of him slightly disappointed.
"If you don't open this door immediately I'm coming in!" Tony yells from the other side of the door along with the sound of a repulser charging up.
"Shit...I haven't seen him in four years-" Rachael says nervously.
Peter grabbed the blanket off the couch wrapping it around her bare naked body. "Here. Cover up with this and hide in the kitchen. I'll get him to go away."
Rachael ran to the kitchen, as Peter barely had enough time to pull up his boxers before Tony busted the front door open.
"What the fuck, Parker. You weren't answering your phone. You can't do that." Tony huffs.
"Okay, Yeah. I got that. Why are you here?" Peter asks.
"I have a job for you, but I'm honestly ready to just let the Fantastic Four handle it at this point." Tony says annoyed.
"I think you should I'm a little busy right now..." Peter says awkwardly looking towards the kitchen slightly.
Tony finally took a step back from his anger to observe the much younger boy's predicament. "Someone's here isn't there? You were getting laid. Nice."
"Yeah, I was. Well if you wouldn't mind being on your way now." Peter says trying to rush him out of his apartment.
"No who is it? Do I know them? I mean I need to see who it is now, especially since you don't want me to." Tony resists walking around the apartment to find where his partner was hiding.
"No! That's not a good idea!" Peter shouts a bit to quickly and attempting to stop him.
"Come on. Let me meet them. It can't be any worse than when you were dating my daughter." Tony says jokingly.
"Hahaha...yeah..." Peter laughs awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
"Wait! Is it my daughter here? Where you fucking my child, again?" Tony asks, slightly more hostile, looking around and storming his way into the kitchen. "What the fuck!"
"Hahaha...Hi, daddy..." Rachael says awkwardly pulling the very thin, half see through blanket around her tighter.
"Hi. Hi daddy. That's it. That's all I get. It's been four years since anyone has seen you and you say "Hi"!" Tony yells his anger increasing.
"In all fairness, I am the only who sent her away never to be seen again, so blame me." Peter says, quickly.
"I'm also naked, and not really sure what else I could have said that was appropriate." Rachael says.
"So are you to reconciled or-?" Tony asks confused looking between the twenty-one year olds.
"I don't know...that's what we we're trying to figure out. Though we only got to round two and I'm not sure we're gonna be horny enough to make a decision until round six at least." Rachael says in all seriousness.
"I did not need that much detail. A simple yes or no would have sufficed." Tony scoffs, disgusted. "Well, I guess I'll leave you two to get dressed and figure whatever this is out. I'll be waiting in the car, Parker, and hurry up a bit he don't have all day."
Once Tony had left, Peter turned to Rachael awkwardly. "I'm sorry about all that."
"It's alright. It was gonna happen eventually, right?" Rachael shrugs.
"So what is going on with us or do we actually have to have more sex before either of us can figure it out?" Peter asks, not exactly upset with the thought.
"I'm sorry-...But, I should have stopped you when I got here, because I just...We can't do this. Not again." Rachael sighs.
"What? Don't say it's because I-" Peter sighs.
"You left me." Rachael sighs going into the living room and beginning to put on her discarded clothing items.
"But you know that. More than anyone on Earth. You know." Peter says sadly.
"That's the point. I know. All it takes is an alarm, a scream, or late night breaking news...I turn around and your gone. That's what you are to me. Waking up in an empty bed. Or worse. Not sleeping because I don't know if you're dead or alive. You left me alone when I need someone there with me the most. I'd been alone for so long before that and as soon as I thought I would get to go home and be happy and free. I was dropped off to be alone, again. I can't handle going through that again." Rachael sighs, pulling her dress over her head.
"So if someone screams out, I'm not supposed to-" Peter starts to ask confused.
"I'm not asking you to do that. I couldn't. The guilt would kill you." Rachael sighs, now standing on the complete opposite side of the room from him.
"But-" Peter sighs, hanging his head low.
"Hey! I'd kill me too! You think I'd want that on my head? All the lives you save. The world needs Spider-Man. I get that, but I don't need-" Rachael sighs sadly, the room falling silent. "Wait, Peter. I didn't mean that. I'll always need you. And love you, but-"
"I get it. There's no going back. Not after what I did. Even if it was only to help you. There's no going back." Peter says softly and broken. He sounded smaller than usual and it hurt her to leave him like this, but they had both crossed lines that they knew there was no coming back from. This was just how it had to be for now. "You should go."
"Sorry, tiger..." Rachael says, walking out quickly since she didn't really seem wanted there anymore.
