Personality: Colette is definitely a reserved person if you never speak to her, but if you ask her a question she will give you a politely lengthy answer before going back to do whatever she was doing. She's decently poised and ambitious with a good plan of what she's about to do. She cared deeply about the people she loves but sometimes cared too little about those she doesn't. She tries hard to get approval on things and it made her a little antsy of a person. If something is truly bugging her she isn't afraid to speak her mind. She's definitely a bit out there, and she takes in the world from different lenses. She's seen as slightly different because of it, and is often caught spending her time making up 'better and alternative' rules to chess in the ravenclaw common room with Luna Lovegood

Backstory: Colette's parents envisioned her being a world class violin player since day one. She took lessons at a young age and always played songs for her best friend who she lost to the cruel ways of high school. Because of this she didn't go out of her way to make new friends unless people approached her and gave her a constant need for reassurance, and so did her parents because of how much they pressured her to practice and get things done.
She was adopted, and her birth parents were not wizards
