Kalani's POV

*I sigh as me and every accepted applicant for Beacon Academy are waiting for the announcement from the headmaster of the school as I look around and spot a few people of interest*

Lets see a few people who seem pompous, a Schnee, a little girl? A blonde girl who seems to be messing with the little girl, a girl wearing a bow on her head, Pyrrha Nikos, a blonde guy, a hyper girl, a guy with a pinkish hue in his hair, another wolf faunus, a guy who seems to be listening to music, an idiot one through four who seem to be bugging... the goat faunus from yesterday...

*I gulp a bit and try to calm my nerves as I look toward the stage a bit curious on what might happen as the headmaster of the school Ozpin walks onto the stage and checks the mic a bit before speaking*

Ozpin "Welcome all to Beacon Academy, as you all might know you all were picked for this academy out of many applicants with the end goal in mind to become fantastic Hunters or Huntresses but before you can become a Hunter or Huntress you must first learn a few more things such as teamwork, a bit more of how the world is or was, about the weapons you use, the basics in medical readiness to help your team or the innocents to save, about the dust we all know of and its combinations of use and if not the most important one of the most important things Grimm and what to be ready for with them. But before we can have you all do that we must first have you all form teams and I do mean all of you and no you will not be choosing your partner or team like this. That will have to be done unfortunately later as currently we have run out of time to start that process as we must also count out how many dorm rooms will be in of need so hopefully you all have you're sleeping bags as for tonight you all will be resting in this room with no exceptions so please do get to know each other."

*my mouth drops as I hear that really not wanting to try and get anywhere near some people as some I can already smell some issues and others seem to be put nicely dangerous while I feel like one or two here feel like a death sentence waiting to happen so I cautiously approach the other wolf faunus as she feels dangerous mostly around the guys that seem to be trying to hit on her and the goat faunus honestly seems to have an aura of death surrounding him as if its nothing new*

Kalani "Um hello there"

White haired wolf "Hello."

Ah, a conversation killer right off the bat.

Kalani "How are you?"

White haired convo Killer " Questioning my decisions."

*Violet slightly draws a katana out as I take a photo of it a bit curious of it as it seems pretty normal considering other weapons I've seen*

Violet "Why are you talking to me anyway?"

Kalani "You seemed interesting is all and probably at least willing to talk even if its a little bit"

Violet "ah so bored."

*I mentally groan unsure of how to keep a conversation going with Violet*

Violet's POV

*I look over the platforms we were told to wait on as I notice a bit of a familiar goat faunus a bit in the distance as he seems uncaring about the current situation as he seemed to have disappeared during the night as if he didn't want to be here in the slightest as Ozpin approaches the mic in front of the platforms and clears his throat*

Ozpin "Good morning as you all can probably tell this isn't a normal set up and the platforms aren't quite normal either but what you all see in front of you is your partner sorter and you're partner will be the first person that you meet in the forest and no don't worry about walking do it but after you find your partner head to the cave near the center and take one item from the spot and then get back to this cliff where we will announce you're teams."

*some people nod some seem confused and one goes ahead and asks a question*

Blonde haired guy "Umm How are we going to get down?"

Ozpin "Oh simple like this."

Blonde Haired guy "Like wh- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

*We watch as he gets launched into the air and go soaring as the next person is launched after getting ready just time as The goat faunus Toy is launched in a relaxed posture as Kalani is launched soon after and then I get launched as I look at the approaching ground and draw my katanas and teleport safely onto the ground and start looking around and think about the worst case scenarios*

The best case is I'm partners with Kalani the neutral case is almost any other girl, the bad cases is the guys the worst cases are Blake and Dickweed Mcgee

*I hear rustling nearby as I turn weapons ready as I see Troy exit the brush and I take one look up and down at him*

Violet "No."

*I turn to see Dickweed Mcgee would be my only other option right now*

Violet "Hell No I'd rather die than team Up with that racist asshole."

*I walk over to Troy and look him dead in the eyes*

Violet "Agree to disagree that either us two or one of us gets him."

*He nods in agreement as we walk with a bit of distance between us to the cave annoyed by the situation as any grimm that gets close to us is just cut down as it just feels to easy at this point*

Alexander's POV

*I had landed decently well as I look around my eyes meeting the eyes of the girl wearing a hood and I cheer mentally*

YES IT'S NOT THE GOAT FAUNUS FROM YESTERDAY!!!!!

Hooded girl "Hello my name's Kalani and you are?"

Alexander "My name's Alexander but you can call me Alex"

*I grab her hand and start walking towards the cave as she nearly lost her balance*

Kalani's POV

Oh come on at least let me walk on my own

*I hear the sounds of a grimm approaching as I look up quickly and yell out some*

Kalani "ALEX GET DOWN NOW!"

*My voice shocks him as he instantly drops barely avoiding the attack of an Ursa as I grab my Bo Staff and swing it into its jaw right after it misses Alex as he follows it up using a bow and hitting it through its eye socket and it goes all the way through as it starts crumbling to grimm dust as I sigh a little bit*

Alex "Would you look at that already some good teamwork I feel like will get along Great Kalani!"

I feel like this is going to be a long four years.

Troy's POV

*I walk near the white haired wolf fanus uninterested in the weak grimm that continue to show up as we get to the cave and see the chess pieces and we both look at them and silently reach for the Gray Knight piece and turn and leave the cave as we cut down more grimm as I continue to be lost in thought

Besides the bar from a night ago where else did I see this wolf? Was she a lab experiment? No if she was I would have recognized her more. Was it from one of the nights I beheaded a horde of Grimm? No couldn't be I wasn't usually around people at that point. What about a night I went into town to buy a few packs of Grimm The energy drinks? Hmmm that's actually possible but which one of those nights? The one where I followed some gangsters? The one I followed a thief, the one I followed someone who had his imprint on them? Wait there that incident did involve a wolf faunus who was about to be assaulted. I think I behead those guys as well. Fuck it it doesn't matter anyway lets just get back and get our team together I want to sleep.

Wolf girl "You're not the talking type are ya."

*I shake my head no as I start to speed up at the idea of getting to sleep sooner*

Wolf Girl "At least wait for me"

Kalani's POV

*We get to the cave and I just grab the last Gray knight Piece*

Kalani "Let's get out of here Alex before we have any dangerous Grimm get here."

Alex "Fine but I wanted to fight more"

Kalani "And I want to eat and take a bath."

Alex "Okay understoodI can join you if you would like~"

Kalani "I will hit you in the nuts with my staff if you try to understand."

Alex "Crystal clear."

~Time skip By author becoming hungry now and wondering if he shall torture the reader's hair now or later~

Ozpin "and The Last but not least Team KATV or Cake with The leader being Kalani Congratulations you four."

Ah so this is punishment I'm on the same team as the scariest fucking auraed guy in this whole damn school why?

Violet "Alexander right?"

Alex "Yes?"

Violet "If you touch me or get close to my bed for any reason I will fucking cut you're nuts off. Same to you Troy"

Alex "Why is my team ready to hurt or kill me?"

Troy 'I don't care what you all do to me unless you touch my energy drinks, wake me up, or try to check on me in the bathroom. If you do so, your life is Forfeit.'

Kalani "Okay I'm not going to ask."

*I collect the dorm keys from Ozpin and I lead my team to the dorms and we look around as Troy just picks a bed and lays down on it just falling asleep as Violet picks one the complete opposite direction of him as Alex tries to do so but A glare from Violet makes him do a u-turn to be right next to Troy as I sigh and go to the bathroom and go to take a bath and change to my nightgown as Violet does the same as me as I'm too tired to care if she finds out that i'm a faunus as we technically all are besides Alex*

Violet "Ah a fellow wolf eh"

Kalani "Yea right now all I want is to sleep and be ready for the day tomorrow I feel like its going to be hectic"

Violet "You as well huh."

Kalani "Do you think Alex read what Troy wrote?"

Violet "Will find out in the morning if he survives until then."

Kalani "Fair enough Let's get to sleep before Alex thinks its okay to check on us"

Violet "I feel like Alex is going to miss classes tomorrow how about you?"

Kalani "I don't think I can disagree with you on that and I don't know why either."

*We walk out the bathroom as Alex seems to have passed out for now as we shrug and lay down and I begin to drift to sleep*

I feel like its going to be a very busy morning when I wake up.
