Randal Wayne

Born in Canada but family emigrated to georgia in America when he was 8, his great-great grandad fought in the civil war as one of many die hard canadian abolitionists, he survived the entire war and settled in texas, after he was wounded in the final confederate victory, Randall still visits that part of his family there but not as much as he does georgia

Joined the Army out of high school and went into EOD

Completed two tours of duty and was honorable discharged after he declined the offer to re-enlist, then became a mercenary

He has a weird accent, its a mix of canadian and a southern one, he's also polite but ruthless when pissed off

Always wears his hat, and when in combat or in need of them he has the goggles down

Rifle (without the suppressor, unless it is needed of course)

He almost always carries around plenty of grenades and c4, a explosive specialist oughta have some of his namesake around

If you use this OC for rainbow six siege then his specials are a drone which has a brick of c4 attached to it (this replaces one of his normal two), and a m79 that has 1 normal explosive round, a incinderay round, a kali lance charge as well as a ash breach round, and 3 buckshot, he can either carry both or just one, your choice

He carries frags, breaching charge, or hard breach charge

Name is Matte Crepitus Wayne, goes by Mat, name is for his dull black hair, which never shines

Summary of his background: born in mistral, moved to atlas, joined up, left and became a mercenary and after a while as a mercenary he was invited by Ozpin to join his academy

Same weapons and outfit, except his pistol turns into a bowie knife and his rifle is all white including attachments, except for the metal parts, and he uses hard light dust a lot for shields and cover, sometimes like a literal spartan shield from halo

Arua color is either white or yellow like the danger explosive symbol, this is the symbol he also uses if he has to for any reason have a symbol

Semblance is Fragor dominus, can summon various explosives, c4, grenades, claymores, etc.

Chess peice is the castle/tower, known for flanking around and then attacking non-stop until death or victory

A very closely guarded secret is that he has discovered gunpowder, and while he doesn't use it for ammo (possibly in the future though), he does use it in explosives

Background: He's very loyal to those closest to him, growing up in mistral he had to help his family fight off grimm quite a lot since they lived on a farm in the mountains, and when he wasn't fighting or tending the fields he was hunting and hiking to the nearest town, which was down the mountain the farm is on and practically inside a swamp, which he used to explore a bit as well, sometimes he also did a little fishing at either the swamp or a lake a bit more up the mountain

When he was 10, a rockslide hit him as he was on his way to town, he was found by a dust baron hunting, who took him to the town doctor who told him he was in a coma, the baron took him to his home in atlas where his wife took care of him until he woke up 6 months later, unfortunately during his coma the baron and his personal pilot had been killed by the white fang so he had no idea how to get back to his family, the now widow though had already lost her children years before and claimed him as her own, though he still kept his name, and enrolled him into the best school in atlas, where he proved to be a very quick learner, and when not in school he would go hiking, camping, and hunting in the white wilderness

8 years later she begged him to go to college but he decided to enlist in the atlas military, after 3 years he left and after a few months, joined a P.M.C, then after 6 months he left and wandered as a mercenary, doing jobs and making connections while he tried to find his family

Ozpin learned of him and decidedly he could be of much use in his war, so he arranged a meeting with him and promised to find his family, pay him 3,000 lien a month, and train him to be a huntsman if he would go to beacon as a student and in secret, his personal soldier, that doesn't mean he's ozpins slave he can leave anytime he wants, but the pay and the fact that Ozpin is/has (depends on where you are in the story) finding/found his family is a good inclination to stay

His end goal in life is to, make a family, find his old family, and settle down on the farm he was born on
