[ Kaen and Ryūto tolerate each other, if you can call it that. Ryūto constantly threatens to turn him into kitty chow and Kaen reminds him that he won't ever be as good as Sanemi. Actually, they don't tolerate each other at all. ]

[ Ryūto is a very stubborn minded boy. He takes his own way or no way, and the only time he strays from his path is to follow Sanemi's. He's extremely confident in his abilities and ground in his beliefs. He's not easily swayed or wooed. He hates being treated like a child despite being one, and refuses to be talked down too.

He's also a little clueless when it comes to certain things. Having never had a normal childhood— much less talked with a child his age— Ryūto doesn't know how to converse properly or even joke around. So if you want to tell him something you'll need to be direct.

Ryūto, while very assure of himself, practically lives off of Sanemi's praise. If he were to say anything bad about him he would take it to heart and go quiet for weeks. He hates showing any emotion and often suffers in silence. The only way to figure out if he's truly upset is by looking for his picking habit.

Another notable thing about Ryūto is his respect, not just for anybody though. Ryūto has a profound respect for women. He'd never disrespect a woman, not on purpose at least. And unlike his brother, he can still speak to them thankfully.

While Ryūto can be less then desirable to be around nine times out of ten—. He can be sweet if he really cares about you. So if you manage to work your way into his heart he'll be sure to show it via his actions. He's not very vocal, and he'd rather die then be seen flustered. So his acts of appreciation will be a surprise.

Overall, Ryūto struggles a lot with his emotions but he's not evil by any means. He just needs to be steered in the right direction. ]

- [ Training; Ryūto heavily enjoys his fair share of training, and then some. He's nothing if not constantly trying to surpass Sanemi to get his approval. He works himself to the bone daily and goes about it like it's nothing. | Sewing; Ryūto secretly enjoys his fair share of sewing and knitting, of course he would never say such a thing out loud. But due to his past he's quite good at making his own clothes, or repairing them. ]

[ Aimi Nakamura. | A selfless and motherly woman. Aimi was kind to all and anyone. If you told her you were cold, she'd have a bath ready before you could even shiver. If you told her you were hungry, food would already be before you. She didn't have much, her nor her husband. But, she lived to give. ]

[ Father ]
[ Kenji Nakamura. | Kenji was nothing if not a softie for his family. His life long dream was settling down and raising children along side a lovely little lady. And so he got his wish, and he cherished it with every bone in his body. There wasn't a day where he wouldn't give his family a hug or a kiss. ]

[ Older Brother ]
[ Mamoru Nakamura | Ryūto's beloved older brother. Mamoru was everything to Ryūto, and vise versa. Mamoru dedicated majority of his life to his baby brother. There was absolutely nothing he valued more then him. ]

[ Adoptive Older Brother #1 ]
[ Sanemi Shinazugawa | Sanemi doesn't necessarily like Ryūto all that much. Having only took him under his wing to avoid nagging from the others and extra troubles. But he doesn't want anything bad to happen to him or anything. ]

[ Genya Shinazugawa | Genya— despite Ryūto not caring for him as much as Sanemi— cares about Ryūto. Seeing him as a real little brother. Though he keeps this a bit of a secret and opts to care for him in silence. ]

[ Friends ] ; " I don't have friends, I have acquaintances. Friends only slow you down. They soften your heart and get in the way of training with mindless— "

[ Tanjiro Kamado| Of course Tanjiro worked his magic and made his way into Ryūto's closed off heart. Ryūto absolutely hated Tanjiro for a long time, when does anyone get to waltz in with a demon then suddenly surpass everybody else? He was half expecting Tanjiro to be some know it all jerk but he was pleasantly surprised when Tanjiro worked the same magic he did with Genya. Ryūto folded and folded fast, falling for the older slayer in a matter of weeks. ]

( Friends )

[ Shinobu Kocho | Prior to Tanjiro, Shinobu was actually Ryūto's closest friend. She cared for him when he was first brought back to the corps. And she even gave him a custom made glass eye so the other kids wouldn't stare at him as much. He came to her whenever he had a issue he couldn't figure out on his own, and sought comfort in her arms. They even grew a slight mother-son type bond over time. ]

[ Genya Shinazugawa | Ryūto doesn't care for Genya as much as Sanemi, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about him at all. They have their moments, but due to their silence and macho man facades neither of them get very far, or into the conversation at all. Though secretly, Ryūto would sacrifice his life in a heartbeat if it meant saving Genya. ]

[ Inosuke Hashibira | It definitely took way longer for Ryūto to warm up to Inosuke. They constantly butted heads. And due to their wild child behavior they were almost always fighting on the floor, kicking, biting, scratching, or just yelling to yell. Eventually— with some persuasion from Tanjiro— The two finally started to see eye to eye. Instead of using their borderline craziness against each other, they would become a due that would destroy the world! Sadly, never happened due to Tanjiro putting a stop to it. ]

[ Kanao Kocho | Ryūto is nothing if not a girls boy. He met Kanao whilst visiting Shinobu. He wasn't that excited, simply because she was a new face, but he didn't want to seem disrespectful so he obliged and hung out with her, via Shinobu's request of course ( they both need friends ). Both Kanao and Ryūto found themselves heavily enjoying each others company. They often hang out when Shinobu isn't home, simply sitting down and enjoying tea. ]

[ Nezuko Kamado | While Ryūto admittedly didn't like Nezuko at all when they first met, he found himself warming up to her after befriending Tanjiro. He especially liked her after seeing how well she fought, even asking her to train him with the same vigor and wild attacks. She grew on him and fast after that, almost every other day he's seen trying to understand her ' Hmm! ' language. ]

[ Himejima Gyomei | Was it even a question? Of course the same Hashira that doted on Genya would immediately take a liking to Ryūto. Ryūto constantly feels like he's belittling him, but who in their right mind is going against thee stone hashira? Gyomei often dotes on him and Ryūto has no other option but to sit and pout. ]

[ Zenitsu Agatsuma | Thin ice. That's the only word to describe their relationship; thin ice. While Ryūto is a freak of nature to many, and a handful of other names— He doesn't play when it comes to women. He didn't care for Zenitsu when he first arrived, and only warmed up to him per request of Tanjiro. Nothing more nothing less. ]

[ Sanemi won't be listed since Sanemi doesn't consider Ryūto a friend and their relationship is more or less one-sided. ]

[ Enemies ] ; " All demons are my sworn enemies. "

[ Kibutsuji Muzan | Wowza really? Of course Muzan would be an enemy to Ryūto. No other hatred burns brighter then the one Ryūto feels for Muzan. There is no greater want then his death in Ryūto's mind. ]

[ Tanjiro Kamado | Sunshine x Angry | Ryūto never expected to find love, especially not with the likes of Tanjiro. He was embarrassed for weeks about his crush, and of course Shinobu was the first one to find out. She was ecstatic when she saw them holding hands in public. She even offered to throw a party! Which Ryūto quickly declined. ]

[ Inosuke Hashibira | Feral x Feral | Ryūto and Inosuke were no short of perfect for each other. Sadly it took Tanjiro's help to make them see it. Both are extremely oblivious to how relationships work, and it's almost cute watching them both work it out together. ]

[ Ryūto backstory is not a must read to rp. So, if you're uncomfortable with the topic listed and cannot read it, I'll give you a basic explanation ^^ ]

[ All Aimi and Kenji wanted was a loving family. They tried for years to have children of their own, and when they were finally blessed with two healthy baby boys they couldn't be happier. They lived a humble life, it wasn't easy, but it was everything they could've ever asked for.

Aimi was a stay at home housewife, she tended to the children and cooked the meals. Kenji farmed for a living, heading off every Thursday to sell his goods to markets. And their two boys? Mamoru, the eldest, helped his aging father in the fields. Whilst little Ryūto was only a toddler, running around and playing with toys.

One faithful day whilst Ryūto was sleeping on his mat, he awoke to utter chaos. His mother's screaming filled his ears and as she rushed into the room everything became a blur. A demon had attacked. As he was brought downstairs he caught sight of his father's burning body, crushed under the weight of the door he so viciously fought to closed to protect his family. 

He didn't know what started the fire. A fallen candle? Perhaps the rug was too close to the fire? Who knows, it didn't matter, the house burned all the same.

His brother was already out of the house, having escaped through the back door. Pacing restlessly as he waited for his mother to emerge with his baby brother. Aimi however, was trapped. Part of the roof had caved in, leaving a unmovable barrier between her and the door.

Tearfully she kissed her beautiful boy on the head goodbye and tossed him to Mamoru with hope. Mamoru caught his brother and ran, hearing the demons cries go closer from inside the house. Ryūto was forced to watch as his mother was crushed by the falling ceiling, her cries of pain and terror echoing throughout his head.

Eventually Mamoru had found an abandoned cabin deep in the woods. With his prior experience outside he fixed it up from a shack to a home, it wasn't pretty but it kept the rain off their heads. For years he raised Ryūto, the younger boy seeing him as a father figure.

Ryūto was  the ripe age of four at the time, but as years passed he learned to follow in his brothers footsteps and make use of himself. Being a scrawny ten year old, he lifted what he could and dragged the rest.

While they didn't have their parents, they had each other. Mamoru visited the market on Thursdays for food, and Ryūto had to learn to deal with nightmares alone on Wednesday nights.

Everything was going well, until it all  changed. A demon.. no.. He had arrived.

Ryūto was sleeping when it happened. There was a terrible storm and it was midnight, and all Ryūto heard was knocking on the door. Rightfully suspicious, Mamoru opted to peak outside before opening it up. Ryūto was ordered to hide under the bed while he scooped the scenery out.

Suddenly the door was caved in, yelling and struggled was heard and Ryūto was terrified. He covered his ears and cried, and that's when He caught wind of another presence in the house. Mamoru knew too.

Mamoru begged and pleaded for Him not to hurt his brother. Surprisingly enough, He agreed. Mamoru was shocked, that was until he realized His true plan.

Ryūto heard his brother groaning in pain and afterwards only demonic growls were heard. He had kept His promise. He wouldn't hurt Ryūto, Mamoru would.

Ryūto heard his brothers voice begging for him to run, and so he did. He ran out the back as fast as he could but he wasn't fast enough. His turned brother had caught him, pinning him down against the mud kicking and screaming. He bit into Ryūto's face, tearing off chunks and leaving a bloody gushy mess.

Ryūto thought that was it. But then, a white blur swooped in and gave Mamoru one quick slash to the chest, he grabbed Ryūto and ran as fast as he could. Ryūto was once again tortured with the tantalizing behind view as he watched his struggling— but alive— brother fade out of view.

Ryūto awoke in the butterfly estate. His face was bound and he was bedridden for weeks. The only one to keep him company was the beautiful estate owner herself ( Shinobu ) , who checked on him regularly.

Once Ryūto was better he was finally allowed out the estate, there he met the man who saved him. Sanemi was his name, and he was absolutely perfect. He had the same hair color as Mamoru, the same eye color too, if not for the scars and hairstyle you could even say they're twins. And so Ryūto found himself developing an unhealthy attachment to him.

And there it all began, the drive, the obsession. The day he changed his last name. ]
