'My mother was human, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen, and have yet to see anyone else that beautiful. Not just physically, but her whole mind and heart and soul were beautiful. She was so kind, always helped people or animals if needed, and she always smiled, no matter what. She always tried to cheer people up, if they were ever down. It was almost like when she smiled, the world would be rid of its evil and the darkness in the world..at least, that's what it felt to me. She was also hard working. She worked so hard to make sure we had food on our table, and to make sure we had clothes and made sure we learned things, like any other child. Her name, was Marina.'

A woman with black hair and deep blue eyes smiled at the person-or humaniod wolf with dirty blond hair, as he smiled at her also, his sharp teeth not scaring her, as his green eyes looked into her deep blues. 

' My father was a wolf. He was hard working, kind, and one of the smartest people I ever met. He loved his family so much, he said he would sacrifice himself to make sure we were safe. His name, was Ignis. Yes, I know what your wondering, how could a wolf and human fall in love? Well, its was from coincidence. My mom was walking home from school one day, when she was around 14. She saw him hurt, as she ran to him and helped him back to her dorm as she helped his leg that was injured. They started to talk, get to know each other more....they became good friends, my dad would always visit after 9 p.m. and tell her about his day, and tell her about the woods and his family. They started getting closer and closer, evenually falling in love with each other.'

The woman was kissing the wolf-man softly, both of there cheeks a bright red as they kissed under the moonlight, as they held hands together.

' People didn't know about there relationship, so they kept it a secret together, never telling anyone. One day, after my mom turned 22, and after a night of under the stars together, where they got drunk a little, and....mom ended up expecting, surprising both of them. They where both nervous, as they didn't know what to do...but dad promised to be with her the whole way. Mom bought a house in the woods, away from people, just in case....my mom had me, and my twin sister, Brooklyn. I was the the second eldest, Brooklyn was born 10 minutes before me. We grew up together, our personalities where very much different. Brooklyn was more entergetic, loud, full of energy, as she loved playing games and getting dirty. Me, on the other hand, I was rather shy and quiet, and would prefer reading and drawing then running around and getting dirty. Our outfits even spoke about our personailities. She wore overralls and a t-shirt, while I wore a nice shirt and a skirt. You see, since our mother was human, and our father was a wolf, we where both half and half. Half human-half wolf. We could change our apperances, we could be humans or wolves whenever we wanted. I preferred staying in my human form most of the time, while Brooklyn loved being in her wolf form. She was so proud and happy in that form. Our mother had 2 more kids after us.....our little brother Riley, and our little sister Raven...'

' We used to play together all the time.....well, Brooklyn would drag me away from my books. We would always have so much fun together....but...'

A little girl was sitting down on the ground as a breeze came through, as a flower blew through the air, going near the little girl who was reading a book about flowers. It was a nice day outside. It was a bit cloudy, but there was some sun shining, as Marie could hear the waves crashing against the rocks and shore. As she was in the middle of a page about roses and different types of herbs there where, dirty blond hair then showed up in her book, startling her as she looked up and saw her twin sister making a silly face, her eyes crossed and her tounge sicking out at her as she said, " Hey Mar's!! Do you wanna play?" she asked with sparkling green eyes giggling, as the other little girl shook her head shyly as she said, " N-No thanks Brooky...." she said.

Brooklyn pouted as she grabbed her wrist and pulled her away from the ground, giggling, as she said, " C'mon!!" she said as Marie was surprised as her book dropped to the ground, as Brooklyn ran to where the rocks where near the cliff.

The ocean below raged against sharp rocks as Brooklyn giggled as she climbed up the rocks. Brooklyn looked back at her younger twin as she held out a hand to Marie, " C'mon Marie! Check out this view from the rocks!" She said as Marie shook her head no, and backed away a bit, " N-No thanks..." She said.

Brooklyn smiled as she jumped onto another rock, as she jumped on the highest rock as she smiled at Marie as she put her hands behind her head, as she walked backwords on the rock. She was giggling as she slightly teased her sister, " C'mon Marie! Don't be a scaredy cat!!" she said as Marie pouted a little as she said, " I-I'm not a scaredy cat!!" she said, as Brooklyn giggled as she backed away some more on the rock.

Her footing on the rock wasn't stable as she slipped as she fell, screaming as Marie watched in horror as she ran to where Brooklyn was at, crying out, " BROOKLYN!!"

She quickly climbed up into the rocks, her foot slipping momentarily as she didn't fall as she looked over the rock and saw Brooklyn's head pop up from a flower bush as she smiled up at Marie as she giggled a little, "I'm ok!" she said as Marie slid down the rocks, seeing how her sister was ok, and how she had flowers in her hair." Silly, you have flowers and petals in your hair!" Marie smiled as she giggled. She pulled one flower out of her hair, as Brooklyn and her giggled. " There! Now were matching!" Marie said, both of them had flowers in their hair, as Brooklyn then stepped away from the bush,she then started to chase Marie. Marie yelped as she laughed, running away from her, having so much fun with her twin. " I'm going to get you Mar's!!" she laughed aas Marie laughed as she said, " No you won't!!"

Ignis then came out, pushing his glasses up as he saw Marie running, she and Brooklyn smiled at him, both of them stopping running as he called out, frowning " Marie. Come inside." he said, making Marie confused, as she asked herself, ' Wait a minute...why is he only calling my name...', as he didn't say Brookyln also as she looked to her left as she saw Brooklyn no longer there, the flower that once was in her hair was now on the ground. The world around Marie seemed to darken, like there was no color in her point of view.

' All good things come to a end...'

She then remembered what happened really. Her and her sister were playing together one day, and Brooklyn was climbing on the rocks like usual, as Marie chased after her.....

' You can't catch me Marie!!'

' Oh yeah? Watch!'

' Hahahaha-AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

But then she slipped, falling off the rocks down below....but a bush didn't stop her. She fell onto the sharp rocks down below, in the water. She looked at the flower sadly, as she gently touched the flower that was in her hair, as she felt the petals where wilted as she looked down, sad. " Oh....."

Marie walked to where there house was as she took off her shoes as she walked past Ignis as she paused as she asked in a soft but sad voice, "......why did Brooklyn have to go Dad?" she asked as he looked at her, heartbroken and sad as he said, "....I don't know.....let's just hope...she's happy and at peace now." he said as he lead her back inside.

The wind started to blow again, as the flower that was on the ground flew into the air as it started to flow away, as a ghost showed as the flower looked to be where the flower was in Brooklyn's hair before. The ghost looked sad as it was gone in the blink of a eye, the flower leaving for now.

....

'....for a very long time....it was hard to move on....in my opinon, I don't think any of us moved on...I know I didn't. I still see her at times.....always wanting to play, making silly faces and smiling...always smiling.....She always was there for me....whenever I was lonely and sad....Riley also tried to help, by being there....he missed her too, since she was our older sister...but.....I don't really think he knew how I felt...it felt like a piece of me was taken out of me....like....a part of me died...when she died. 3 people once came to our world, and found me by Brooklyn's grave. A woman with blue hair sat next to me, gently talking to me and hugged me to make me feel better, as she said she knew what it was like, losing a loved one, and that one day, it would be ok...a man with brown hair came after the woman left. He asked me if I was ok, and I told him I wasn't, he understood, saying how he lost his parent's at a young age, and it was a hard time for him also. He told me that she was in a better place, and she was ok....I kinda liked the man and woman. They were very nice. There was a young boy, he loked maybe 16....I think. He saw me walking one day to her grave, and offered to walk me there just in case. We ran into monsters that way, and he got rid of them. When we got to the grave, he was silent as I placed a flower on her grave. He gently hugged me and said he was sorry for my loss, and that one day it would be ok....I liked all 3 of them. They were nice, and helped me a little when I was sad...but then..,Another tragedy happened, and it was that my brother and little sister were both taken away by a woman with green skin and  horns. She said they could be useful....as she took the life of our parents...and tried to kill me.'

A 3 year old little girl and a 5 year old boy were struggling to get out of the woman's grasp, as she smirked, " You 2 could be very useful...." she said, senseing darkness within Riley, while Raven had a pure light heart, as a 9 year old Marie glared at her as she said, " Let my brother and sister go you hag!!!" she shouted, trying to tackle her as the woman waved a finger at her as Marie hit the wall hard as she was in pain as Ignis was snarling and trying to tackle her and stop her from taking his family. Marina was throwing knives at the woman, as she tried to help her daughter.

" Let our son and daughter go!!!" Ignis snarled as the woman scoffed and said, " They are none of your concern now. My heartless minions! Make sure that these fools are wiped out!" she said, as she summoned a dark corridor as Riley and Raven struggled harder as Raven was crying loudly, " M-Mama!!Daddy! S-Sissy!!" she cried scared as Riley was struggling harder and harder as the woman walked away with them, into the dark corridor.

Ignis slashed at them hard, trying to protect his family, but to no avail. The heartless kept coming back, relentless as a heartless slashed at Ignis as Ignis fell to the ground, his body disappearing as his heart emerged from the body as it disappeared, after dark chains wrapped around it, dragging it away as Marina picked Marie up, as the 9 year old was screaming and tried to run to protect her daughter, but was slashed behind her back as the same thing happened to her like Ignis as they were by the door, she quickly threw Marie, as she was outside of the house on the ground, as she saw the heartless surrounding her, ready to take her heart, as she looked so scared, trembling asking herself, ' W-What should I do?! A-Am I going to die?!
she asked, as she then noticed a stick on the ground as she picked it up, sort of like a weapon for herself, her wolf side coming out, trying to defend herself, as she hit a couple of heartless back. 'I-I can't be scared! I...I have to be brave....' she remembered her twin, who was always brave no matter what happened, ' Just like...Brook.' she thought to herself

A mouse looking thing then jumped to where Marie was in the middle as he got rid of all the heartless as he looked at her and smiled as he said, " I'm glad I got here in time! Are you alright?" he asked, as Marie looked at him in shock, as she asked, " W-Who....?" she asked, as the mouse chuckled a little and said, " My name's Mickey! Mickey Mouse! And who are y-Hey!" Marie's eyes rolled to the back of her head, due to running on adrenaline and was in shock as she fainted.
....

When she woke up, she was no longer in the very woods she grew up in, it looked like she was in a building as she sat up quickly, looking around as she looked to be in a nice room, as she saw she was in her wolf form still, not her human form, as she heard the door open as she looked up and saw Mickey, " Gosh! Looks like your awake! That's good! How are you feeling?" he asked, as she looked at him, watching closely, as she looked down and said, " I'm....fine." she said, as he smiled and said, " That's good!" he said as Marie then asked, " Where...am I?" she asked as his smile dimmed down a little, as he said, " Your in Disney Castle, don't worry, your safe." he said as she then asked, " What...happened to my home? My family?" she asked

The smile vanished from his face as he sighed and said, " I'm...sorry. Your world fell to darkness, and your family....I think they might have turned to the new beings called Heartless." he said, as she looked down, trying hard not to cry, as she said, " I...see." she said.

" But hey, at least your safe, and I'm sure your family would want you to be ok...right?" Mickey said, as she slightly nodded a little. " Could you um...tell me your name? If your ok with it?" he asked, as she looked at him, as she said, " My name....is..."

'...I have to be brave...I can't be weak, not rely on people like before, to help me...I have to be stronger.....I can't be shy, I can't be quite, I can't be a crybaby....I have to be calm, collected, smart, brave....just like Brooklyn....Marie is a weak name...it meant I was weak, I was still the crybaby I used to be, how shy I used to be....Brooklyn's name meant she was powerful, she was powerful, she was strong, smart and brave.....I would honor her name.....My human form showed I was weak, so I would no longer be in my human form, I would be in my wolf form, since my wolf form showed me being strong, while my human form just told me I was weak....so I would be stong...I would make sure nobody would see me weak again..I would save my brother and sister, and avenge my parents....That's a promise.'

" My name is Brooklyn....it's nice to met you Mickey."
