Eli had always been part of the Silver Sun Pack, his mother and father, Olivia and Kiro, being the alpha pair. They loved Eli very much as a pup and into his early to mid teenage years. But Eli became reckless and was frantically trying to find his mate, not caring about too much else than himself and his best friend, Thomas. Eli was growing tired of his father's rule and didn't listen to him a lot when he was 17-18 years old. Kiro was a big pack taker and over took Pack territories to help grow his reign. Eli didn't particularly care for this. One day, he was being scolded by his father for not contributing to and elk hunt and Eli couldn't handle it anymore so he attacked his father and scratched his face. It wasn't intentional, but his father took it the wrong way and they ended up fighting. Fortunately, Eli survived, but Kiro was killed. Terrified, Olivia ran away and left Eli to take care of his pack.
