Diello was born and raised in a large, tribal like, underground community, called moltrein, where majority of the people have some sort of power or special trait. The signs that someone has those traits are, red or ginger hair, being left handed, and having a very specific birthmark on any place in your body. This tribe is far away from any other civilisation and most don't even know it exists. In this tribe, those with powers are trained to be soldiers while those without are farmers and builders. They are at war with another community, the Xantions, this one uses technology as it's weapon. The war has been raging for centuries.

Diello was trained hard from the day he was born, his father was quite powerful and high up. He became the youngest ever soldier at the age of 13 and now, at the young age of 17, he is one of their best. So good, that they send him on one of the most important missions any of the soldiers have been on. The mission to rescue and bring back the prophesied savour of their people, "the golden child".

Diello is straight forward and disciplined. He takes his role as a soldier extremely seriously. He's strong and have mastered his powers of fire. He's a born leader. Although he can be rude in order to get things across, once he trusts you, he's a very kind and empathetic person. He'd sacrifice himself without thinking if it meant someone will be saved. He's an honourable and strong minded person.

Diello is very dedicated to his job and to protecting his people, and absolutely despises Xantions. He did once break one of the most important rules a few years ago, when he befriended and slept with a Xantion named Ernest. He still has a soft spot for Ernest despite the fact that he is a Xantion and not the nicest person, but he deeply regrets what he did and treats it as a betrayal against his people. Ernest likes to remind him whenever he sees him, and torments Diello knowing that he wouldn't hurt him.

Your Character (YC) is lost in the middle of nowhere, whilst trying to find their way, they come upon a stone wall and start to investigate, out of both curiosity and necessity. The wall rises a few feet above them and as they try to figure out a way through they hear a voice. They turn to see Diello running in their direction, yelling something in a language they don't recognise. He's pointing a spear at them and approaching fast...

YC wakes up in the middle of the night to a loud crash that rattles their home, as they wake they realise they are in the arms of a complete stranger, that stranger being Diello...

YC is a Xantion and either meet Diello in a battle or whilst trying to infiltrate Moltrien

YC is a Xantion and has been a mole in Moltrien for months. The moltrienians are none the wiser. One day YC gets a mission to get close to and find information on a young soldier named Diello Akintola who the Xantions believe could bring them important information.. or a large ransom.
