~{Mr- -Wendigo}~
Name: Godslayer
Loving the name! Reminds me of how conceited NightWing's actually are, or were. 10/10
Age: 59
Let's go we got an old man
Gender: Male
Lovely
Family: His adoptive widow mother, MiracleWing. He doesn't know his real parents.
I like it, but honestly I feel like I see more adoptive parents than biological these days
Tribe: Nightwing
I just realized that I don't think you have a WoF OC that doesn't have NightWing in them...
Rank: Guard, retired from a commander after fighting a war against the Icewing.
Ok, pretty good. Boarding on basic, but I'll give it a pass. Also he's reminding me of Panda. Is this is revamp? XD
Appearance: Godslayer is a tall, muscular nightwing, with large prominent wings. He has specks of red freckles, on his shoulders and face, that looked like someone had flicked paint on his figure. His tail is thick, and shorter then most nightwings, and he was smaller, constantly squinting eyes. His scales are jet black, with dark grey scales running along his tail and wings. His talons are always covered in dirt, due to how he mainly spends his time on the ground instead of flying. His eyes are a bright, sunny yellow, that almost seem to glow. His underwings are a deep purple, that fade to black at the ends, with small stars dappling on the ends of his wings. He often wears a strong, grey, metal armor, that he only ever takes off when he feels safest, or is uncomfortable. The spines running along his back are short, and dull, but he has oddly long talons, that almost seemed to be faintly stained with a blue blood. Scars are scatter among his body.
Absolutely love it! He is unique enough to stand out, but he still fits in with other NightWings. I'm loving the red speckles. Umm a sucker for speckles/freckles
Abilities: Normal Nightwing abilities. Fire has a deeper tint of red.
I like the fact that the color of Fire is different. I feel like no one ever talks about the colors of fire, or frost breath for that matter. And what is the color or Sandwing venom?
Strengths: Smart thinker, uses his strength and intelligence against foes, and is skilled from his many years of fighting due to the fact that he was a Commander.
Makes sense, fits with his story
Weaknesses: Slow, and a bad flyer. He doesn't fly often. The most he's ever flown is when he fought in the war, but then has avoided it since, not for any particular reason. He thinks about his self more, and thinks quite highly of himself.
Like that he's a slow flyer, balances his strengths out nicely.
Dislikes: Godslayer despises Icewings, even after many years after the war has even happened. He'll shoot them dirty looks, and is generally more aggressive towards them. He dislikes flying. (didn't really know what to put here)
Pretty stereotypical, but makes perfect sense. I feel like you could push his story further and make him have some dramatic rivalry with an Icewing general or something.
Like: He enjoys writing, as odd as it is. He often writes about his experiences as a Commander, and enjoys to watch wildlife, such as birds, and other animals when he's taking walks through forests.
Very interesting, I like that he also has a soft side. I can imagine him being in like a birdwatching trip and bragging to the others about all the exotic birds he's seen XD
Personality: Godslayer is a thick-skulled, stubborn, and rude dragon. He is often disliked due to his rudenesss towards Icewings, which really makes other dragons who see him disrespect Icewings avoid him. He thinks highly of himself, and gets angry when he doesn't get what he wants.
Pretty great! Fits well, maybe add at least one kinder personality trait to balance him out.
Backstory: When Godslayer was hatched, no one claimed him as his own, except for a dragon named MiracleWing, who claimed to be his mother. She constantly spurred insults at him, and often treated the dragonet like trash. She never intended to be as horrible to Godslayer as she was, and has tried to change, which the dragon denied. The reason his mother was so horrible is because of the debts she was in with the other dragons, and often stressed out, taking it out on Godslayer since she didn't know how else to deal with it. When news spread about the openings in the army, he immediately enrolled in it, just to get away from his mother. He stayed in the army for years, and eventually the Icewing-Nightwing war came around, and he fought ruthlessly. He wasn't give any names, and was referred to as 'Godslayer' when others saw how ruthlessly he fought, easily overpowering unsuspecting opponents with his strength. The name stuck, and it's what he has been called most of his life. After the war, he retired, unable to fight as much as before, and he was getting old. He came back him to his adopted mother, who admitted to not being his real mother, and the nightwing was left unfazed. He left his mother and went and lived farther away, surrounded by the forest, and usually only coming out when he needed something.
I feel as though this backstory is a little cookie cutter, but it has just enough elements of originality to make it stand out. I myself am guilty of this and have quite a few OCs who enrolled in the army to escape their abusive families, Destinychooser being one of them. With Godslayer, I feel like his backstory makes sense and flows well with his story and personality. Many times, people will make characters with tragic backstory's, but that will have no affect on the character or their story. With Godslayer, even though you can't really identify it too well because this is just a character fill out form, not a book or rp, you can see the way it affects his actions today. I do have a few nit picks, though. I know you can't really go into much detail here, but I think his time in the Army was lacking. Joining the Military is a life changing decision, but I didn't feel like it carried as much weight as it should have. Maybe mention how he was hesitant to join, because he was afraid of what was to come, but he knew it was his only chance to escape his mother. You could also add a little bit more on how being in the military hardened his as a person. I noticed that you said "when others saw how ruthlessly he fought, easily overpowering unsuspecting opponents with his strength." Maybe add a little bit on how he fought like each dragon owed him something, or maybe how he seemed to loathe the Icewings more than the average NightWing should, making others astounded by his loyalty to his tribe, but in reality he is taking his anger and hatred from his past out on the Icewings, which could lead to the fact why he hates them so much. He doesn't hate the Icewings, his hatred for his mother was taken out on them, and he just transferred the hate to them.
Idk that just what I thought, I think I got a little carried away 😂
Overall, I love this character! I think there are a few things that are boarder line cliche, but you spun it in a way that makes sense and fits with his story.
97/100
I look forward to seeing more of him!
