Sunny's POV

It was a pretty normal day for me. I was walking down the streets and looking through the trees. I ran into a girl by accident. "Oh, I am so sorry," she said. "No problem..." I said. "You like these forests, too?" she asked. I nodded. I looked up at the shade the trees gave and smiled. "I'm Sunny. You?" I asked, holding my hand out. "Fauna," she answered, shaking it. We went our separate ways. 

I walked back into OC manor. "Hey, Sunny. What are you so happy about?" Holly asked. "What are you talking about?" I asked.. I then realized I was smiling widely. I immediately changed my expression. Holly raised an eyebrow at me. "So, Sunny, J and I were talking, and we figured you could use a day to yourself. So we got an address to a masquerade. How does that sound?" she asked. "Wow... thanks," I said, smiling.

The day of the masquerade, the people there greeted me kindly. I was a bit nervous because I didn't know any of these people. Then I noticed... they didn't know me either...

I talked to a lot of people. I couldn't help but wonder is they would still like me if they knew who I was... a slow song played and everyone got a partner. A girl took my hands and we started dancing. I could feel my face heating up slowly. "So... if this your first time at a masquerade?" she asked me. Her voice was mostly concealed. I nodded. "That's cool. Here..." she placed her head on my shoulders as we swayed along. Her face was extremely close to mine. She started to lean in. I leaned in too and I kissed her for about 3 seconds when I backed away.

"I... I can't do this," I said, and led her to a bench as the song ended. "Why not?" she asked me. "I... fell in love with someone else the other day. I'm sorry..." I answered. "Oh... that's fine. I also fell in love with someone..." she admitted. We walked to a park.

I took my mask off. The girl gasped. She smiled and took off her own, revealing herself as Fauna. She took the decorations off of her ears and I felt my face heat up more. "Sunny? Are you okay? Your face is bright green," she said. "I'm fine Fauna. So who's this fella you fell in love with?" I asked. "Well... he's pretty tall... he's blond... and he's right next to me," she answered, hugging me tightly. I blushed harder. "Love you too," I said.
