GN-9888 more well known as Eights, by his friends is from the outer rim planet of Tatooine. His birth name is Peter, but he never uses it.

•He wasn't really the top of the class at the academy, he's not that good with a gun, but can fly well after the rebellion lessons.
•Before he left for the imperial academy, he worked on his parents droids and worked as a mechanic for most of his neighbors.
•Deflected to the rebellion, when he was given the chance. (Mainly because of Chopper)

He has a mother (Riley) , a father (Phil) and a younger brother (John), but he rarely sees them. They all live back on Tatooine and work on a moisture farm.
