Characteristics
Loukia can be extremely intimidating under many circumstances. Not only is she a giant amongst her species, especially for a female, but her personality hardly reflects a charmed nature. Her excessive pride and rude carelessness often cloud her judgement, allowing her to appear stuck up. When speaking to others about her personal views and thoughts, Loukia can become lost in her own words; she doesn't hesitate to give strangers or friends her blunt opinion, in turn appearing rude without that affect being her original intention.

She has a sharp, defensive wit, an acidic temperament, and a very sarcastic attitude whenever she chooses. Giving the impression of holding most people in disdain, this dragoness comes off as extremely arrogant and self-centered, believing herself to be above others. True enough, Loukia is superior in battle, something she has been training for since she was young and has grown to love over the years. She even exhibits sadistic tendencies, which she developed on account of learning things the hard way as a child; it is difficult for her to see the light in anything when her life started out so dark.

Loukia experiences certain sensations of simply being an "old soul" on the inside. The feelings that accompany this are usually: a feeling of world wariness, mental tiredness, watchful patience, and detached calmness. Unfortunately, others can perceive this attitude as aloof and cold.

Stoic would be the best word to describe Loukia. She has always been independent and somehow self-possessed, having learned from her mentor that is it best not to betray herself to emotions as a child, but she does depend on those around her, more than she lets on, or will ever admit. Underneath the dispassionate facade, she is hateful only to those who she seriously doesn't like, but is capable of showing true love and affection to those she believes has earned it.

Despite her flaws, Loukia has a strong moral core. She is dutiful and just, willing to make the right decisions and sacrifices if the situation comes down to it. She has a keen eye for the wicked and a soft heart for those otherwise unable to protect themselves. Though she can be, at times, vindictive, she is cruel only to protect those she loves. Righteousness soars through Loukia's golden veins, and her strong moral code is what keeps her heart surging.

Interests
Like superstitions assume, she is a dragon that is attracted to beautifully reflective objects; but not to a fault. On the day of her hatching, she was given a crystal necklace from her father that she has never removed, and has been ever fascinated by the beauty of nature's jewels. She has a vast collection of precious stones hidden away on her floating islands from any that may wish to steal them and is almost always on a lookout for new, rarer jewels.

Another side of herself that she allows no others to even glimpse at is her undying love for exploration. Adventurous at heart and thrill-seeking by nature, Loukia is one of the few dragons who will gladly take a leap of faith simply to prove someone wrong. This is one of the reasons she chose to travel back in time as her means of escape. Inquisitive and restless, it is no wonder why she can never stay to a given location for very long. She harbors a deep yearning for knowledge and an insatiable thirst for the unknown, and is often off searching for new things to discover. Yet despite this curious nature found within, she keeps all others unaware of these desires.

Anatomy
Loukia is a relatively large member of her species for her age, much like her father, and will only continue to grow as time passes. Only a few other peers are larger in size than she, where as most Avians her age could only reach up to her shoulders. However, since reaching this foreign age in time, she has come to encounter many other species of dragons that are in fact larger in size than she; she doesn't allow this to daunt her.

Loukia was born with a body designed specifically for aerodynamics, complete with hollow bones that allow her to remain relatively lightweight. Her physique is lean and cat-like, with the majority of her strength lying in her well muscled chest and and hind legs. Another trait received from her father are her evenly muscled shoulders and forearms. Due to large portions of her time spent fighting or flying out of the many faces of danger, she is also greatly lithe and nimble.

Armor
Special interlocking scales line especially vital areas - such as the throat, stomach, and flank - for superior protection. Tough, smooth plating covers her entire front, and hardened diamond-shaped plates flow down the nape of her neck and throat, all of which are coated in a high gloss, indicative of great health. As far as colors go, Loukia is covered in very subtle banding, save for the elaborate banding found along the flanks, very akin to the coral beauty angelfish. The deep purple scales also give off a bright marigold iridescence when in the light. Her extremities are tinged in lighter yellow hues, and she is often mislabeled as a 'phoenix' by human scouts.

Head
Loukia's head has a very smooth, uninterrupted curve from the tip of her nose to the tips of her three parallel crest-spines. The nose is padded, but not textured like a dog's. Several odd scars adorn Loukia's snout and left cheek; the two imperfections along her cheek are vertical, the one across her snout horizontal. Wounds received by an Einhorn from her home era were notorious for never healing, but she wears her scars proudly, like battle trophies.

From the side, this dragoness' head may appear to only have a single unified crest; this is untrue. She has two crests, each flowing down the sides of her head, followed by soft down feathers that run all the way to the base of her neck. They can splay out or create a narrow point. Her crest has been likened to the cockatoo as the dorsal feathers can also splay upwards past the skull's horned crests. She primarily does this only when she feels shocked, surprised, or is angered.

Protruding from her crest as well is a total of three facial pinions, unmarked, and hanging from the sides of her face almost like earrings. They seem to provide no real purpose, aside from their high sensitivity to touch. Only those closest to her are sometimes allowed a chance to feel them.

Eyes
Like most Avians, Loukia's eyes lack pupils; however, her luminescent inner flesh of red and gold create gradients alluding to pupils, causing her eyes to appear similar to the sun. The eyes are always giving off a soft golden glow, much like the wounds on her face. Even when the eyelids are closed, a faint glow from the eye's brightest center can still be seen.

To add to her dangerous abilities, her eyes are up to five times sharper than a human's and she has a total of five photoreceptors to see ultraviolet, visible and infrared light, whereas a human only has three. Three of the photoreceptors go to the colors red, green, and blue, and the other two go to UV and infrared. Her eyes are also placed in just the right area to allow her to see forward and to the side at the same time if she wishes to do so.

Mouth
Apart from her claws, Loukia's main offensive and defensive weapon is her mouth. Her teeth are elegantly curved and not overly large ( 3 inches in length) . While her bite isn't necessarily powerful, she can still leave a nasty wound. Loukia possesses controllable cytotoxic venom glands along her top and bottom jaws with ducts leading to the openings between each tooth.

Although her venom is not fatal to herself, a dense concentration can kill almost anything, making her extremely deadly if she chooses to release this venom before puncturing another's flesh. Once bitten, the toxins affect the victim's central nervous system. This results in four stages: blurred vision, severe pain, paralysis, and eventually death. She can easily coat her scales, talons, and even feathers with this also. Not only is this highly effective in battle but it also adds to her potentially deadly arsenal.

Claws
Her front and back claws ( 3 inches in length) have four fingers/toes and a thumb, like a human hand, and are padded to allow silent walking when on land. Each hand and foot is armed with an elongated pollex (thumb) and hallux (big toe) talon ( 9 inches in length ). And, each arm and leg have several bony protrusions at the elbows and ankles that act as potentially lethal weapons if she were to kick or elbow a foe.

Each wing sports a single large, hooked claw ( 3 feet in length ). Inconspicuously placed amongst the feathers of her "wrist", the talon is occasionally used as a hidden weapon.

Wings
Loukia has two relatively unique wing pinions - two shafts splitting along a single quill - marked with the Avian runes for Fire and Earth. The symbols also face the same direction on either side and do not appear to be flipped. She prefers to tuck her wing pinions in with her wings, unlike most Avians of her species whom allow the pinions to dangle. Unfortunately, when she flies she has no option but to allow the two pinions to trail smoothly behind her amongst the air.

Both feathered wings are smoothly rounded and moderate in size, allowing for extremely agile and highly maneuverable flight. She isn't the best when it comes to endurance, but she is probably one of the quickest and most silent dragons in the sky. The leading edge of her primaries are fimbriate (fringe-like). Air traveling over these feathers create micro-turbulences, muffling the noise that would normally be created by the beating of wings. This is highly advantageous when flying in the night, as she could simply fly past an enemy without being detected or surprise-attack them from the sky.

Tail
In proportion to her body, Loukia's tail is extremely long, but also rather flexible. She often uses her tail as a sweeping weapon, wiping the legs out from under opponents for a surprise attack. The feathers lining Loukia's tail creates a V-shape at the end, which helps with fantastic steering when in flight. Dual feather layers flow down from the tail, increasing in size and brightening in hue. Smooth gradients of reds, oranges, and yellows adorn the dorsal side with a deep purple lining the tips and edges of them. Ventrally, reds and purples dominate.

Accessories
There is a specific accessory Loukia has worn since the day she was born: a large but elegant silver Byzantine chain, wide enough to fit over her head and rest loosely around the neck, yet light enough to be worn while in battle. The metal is nearly indestructible, as it is made of an element not yet discovered by the humans; an enchantment is placed on it to allow growth as the wearer increases in size. Attached to the chain by twisted, gnarled vines of silver is a slender, translucent crystal, pointed down at the tip. It could easily be mistaken for a giant diamond, however, a closer inspection would reveal the spidery veins of crimson-black that ran throughout its center. The stone not only stores power, but holds a strong sentimental value, since it was the only gift from her father she could bring from their home time.

Abilities
Loukia's main elements are fire and earth, but she can also control metal, jewels, magma/lava, and even the sun's solar energy, etc. One of her favorite spells consist of the ability to create "fireflies'. She finds peace in watching them flit around her, sometimes lighting blades of grass aflame by accident. This is one of the few spells she was taught by her parents in the short time they were with her. Only her two elements of fire and earth are used when dueling; she does not enjoy using other advanced magics for violence, but will not hesitate to use them when necessary.

Mate
This feisty dragoness is quite picky when it comes to love life. Many times before has she been followed or picked on by the handful of males that would try to earn her attention in her own era. Because of her short temper for dim-witted antics, she does not plan to look for a mate any time soon.

Rider
Loukia will only accept a rider who can defeat her in single combat, magic or not, asserting their dominance over the dragoness, and thus earning her critical respect.
