Formal Wear + Steampunk Outfits
Some of these will be recycled from the "Some Alternate Outfits" Chapter. Cause sometimes those outfits just fit far too well.
Formal Wear:
Azumi: Gold high-low dress with long, sheer sleeves. Lots of beading and jewels, particularly on the bodice and sleeves. Bow bun hairstyle. Bright red gladiator sandals. If Azumi has to wear shoes, she prefers if they're open-toed and have no heel. A small, red kiss lock clutch.
Haruto: Haruto isn't a fan of formal wear, because he knows he's pretty much doomed to mess it up somehow, but he has money, so he does have the ABILITY to look really sleek. Three-piece suit: black jacket, black dress pants, olive green waistcoat and tie. He tries to tame his hair a little with product. Gold-rimmed glasses, for once it's a pair that has never been broken before. A really nice golden watch and shiny black Oxfords.
Fujiko: Dusty rose chiffon one-shoulder two-piece dress. Diamond dangle earrings, a relatively simple jeweled armband on her right arm (the shoulder strap is on the left side). Simple white peep-toe heels. A white barrel bag. Her hair would be in milkmaid braids.
Keiji: Grey tweed blazer over a black turtleneck. A mustard-colored pocket square. Tailored black dress pants. Grey chukka boots. He still wears his tungsten ring and watch. His hair is short enough that he generally doesn't have to do anything with it.
Kana: A lime green to emerald green gradient ballroom dance dress. It's a halter top, and it's floor-length. Elbow-length black satin gloves. She wears her ring under the glove. Black stilettos with blue rhinestones. But since you can't really see them, she also has sapphire stud earrings. A low chignon bun with a hair clip that looks like the planet Neptune.
Monterio: An emerald green dress shirt, black slacks. A bolo tie. The clip looks like the planet Neptune. A black vest. His typical dance shoes and ring. Sapphire stud earrings (yes, Monterio canonically has his ears pierced).
Nari: A navy blue, round neck sheath dress. It's really unassuming. There's a little bit of intrigue in the back, where there are several white buttons, but Nari's goal is pretty much to be the least noteworthy of the women. Instead of her normal triskelion earrings, she wears simple pearl ones. A white clutch purse. Pointed navy flats. A slightly curled high ponytail, the bangs still cover one eye.
Ren: A neon pink 2-piece suit over a white dress shirt and a raspberry tie. I honestly love the dynamic of Miss Nari "Don't look at me" Igarashi and Mr. Ren "Stare at me for hours and you'll make my day" Enomoto. Raspberry-colored dress shoes. His usual small black hoop earring. He sweeps his hair to the side.
Sayuri: Empire waist, bell-sleeved pale orange dress. Floor-length, flowy bottom. Short grey lace gloves, a grey lace choker. Silver cut-out heels. Her hair is down, and curled. Black cat eye glasses. A slightly darker grey envelope clutch.
Tozen: Dark brown dress pants, a matching coat. A golden-colored dress shirt. A brown tartan bow tie. Slightly lighter brown delbrooks. Brown fake glasses. He finally manages to tame that one strand of hair that always eludes him.
Wakumi: You are not getting a very formal look out of Wakumi, that's just how it rolls. A white dress shirt, black slacks, and a black top hat (not super tall or anything). Shiny black boots. Her hair is in a bun, but the hat covers it, so it just looks like she has really short hair, which she's absolutely fine with. No bag. She shoves everything in her pockets.
Chimon: A slate blue 2 piece suit (it is rented and you'd best believe he haggled the price so that he'd have enough for tailoring). A plum-colored, diamond-patterned tie. His pork pie hat (with a tiny purple feather now). He does have his key necklace, but it's hidden. Suede grey loafers.
Joanie: A velvet burgundy wrap shawl over a simple copper dress. It's tea length and shiny, has an open back. Burgundy heeled ankle-length boots. Ear-length, Marcel wave styled black wig. A black flap bag. Joanie easily has the biggest handbag of the crew, and does not care.
Yuu: Black velvet dress shirt, silk lavender tie. A black trench coat, which he pretty much only wears when he's getting chilly. A silver watch. Black slacks. Lavender wedge heels. He's too timid to WEAR it, but he does HAVE a tube of lilac lipstick on his person.
Hachi: A pastel yellow houmongi with a baby pink iris pattern. (The sash is also baby pink.) White tabi socks and simple geta. A twisty hairstyle that keeps her hair up. Has a lovely floral hairpiece. She has a simple pink kinchaku to hold her stuff in, but everyone knows that, if left to her own devices, she will lose it immediately. So everyone pays attention to it.
Gou: Tan chino suit jacket and blue chino pants over a white dress shirt. A maroon striped tie. His spiky hair is slicked back. Whenever he has to wear formal wear, he feels very uncomfortable without his helmet.
Steampunk Outfits (Warning: Initially I try to design full-blown outfits. I eventually resort to just describing their biggest statement pieces, because it's impossible to make 16 highly individualized Steampunk outfits)
Azumi: Mid thigh-length brown ruffly dress. Really poofy sleeves. A belt with several buckles and cogs. Knee-length brown leather boots. A tiny top hat. A few splashes of bright red mixed within. A walking stick covered in card suit patterns. I want her outfit to be circus mixed with steampunk.
Haruto: Goggles are a yes! Oversized ones with legit prescriptions. A white dress shirt and a leather brown apron covered in gears and with a bunch of buckles to fasten it. Cool-ass steampunk boots with pouches for him to hide goodies!
Fujiko: A brown sweetheart neckline corset top with lots of buckles. A brass heart necklace with a bunch of tiny gears. There's a miniature crank that makes all the gears spin. A black high-low ruffly skirt. Brown leather ankle boots and short brown leather gloves.
Keiji: A black military coat. One of those really cool tech-y monocles. Knee-high cross-strap boots.
Kana: A burgundy and black cage neck corset top. A black high-low ruffly skirt, fishnets, and a black leather ankle books.
Monterio: He would have steampunk bracers and a completely bronze, gear-like "flower" in his pocket. At least a little burgundy would be in there, to coordinate with Kana.
Nari: A brown leather top with one of those really nifty little shoulder pads and a lot of gears. A brass compass necklace.
Ren: One of those full-on cybernetic arm type things (it's a sleeve, of course, he still has his normal human arm under there). The rest of the outfit hardly matters to him, so you can take some creative liberties here, but that arm is extraordinarily detailed. Tons of gears.
Sayuri: Tons of elaborate steampunky quill pens???Honestly, I have like no idea what to do with Sayuri. Her aesthetic is like the farthest opposite from this. Really crazy goggles, with like colored and angled lenses that basically make her feel like she's looking through a kaleidoscope. Obviously she mostly keeps them on her head.
Tozen: A steampunky recipe book? I'm having to go far out of my way to come up with interesting stuff. He would still somehow have suspenders and a bow tie, just make them fit the vibe.
Wakumi: Steampunk but pirate. She gets a whip, as well as a captain hat, but with gears.
Chimon: This really, really cool belt with a ton of big brass and gold decorative keys.
Joanie: She gets a cool steampunky top hat. She won't wear a wig for this one. Also we're giving Joanie a gas mask cause that's cool as hell.
Yuu: Platform boots and an even taller (but less complicated) top hat. His goal is to be really tall. Also a nice, slightly more complicated version of his usual tool belt and gloves.
Hachi: Okay think about this. COMPLETELY METALLIC FAIRY WINGS. I take no objections.
Gou: A really complex helmet with all sorts of pumps and gears and bells and whistles. Basically we just want Gou to feel himself again because now he has a helmet.
