Rainstorm raised Silent Shadow himself and protected her from his brothers as long as he could, though he ended up dying from his pride of his traditional antics.

Rainstorm is a tier 1 Guardiano, meaning his sire and carrier were two different species with no crossbreeds in their genetics.
A Guardiano's tier greatly affects how far up the chain of command they can get.

Rainstorm is a hybrid between seeker and Insecticon, though he remains without the slender frame of a seeker and more so the bulk of Insection armour.

Rainstorm was raised among his fellow Guardianos in the sea of rust until he matured, meaning Rainstorm speaks pure Ancient Messapotamium and lacks a lot of verbal communication skills.

Rainstorm never managed to follow his daughter to earth in his physical form but exists as a form of, one might say, an angel on Silent Shadow's shoulder plate.
