Personality: Niran is a troublemaker - plain and simply. His immortal life is a boring one - why not spice it up? He has lived a ridiculously long time - at least in his mind - and has gone through so much - good and bad. Despite his troublemaking, fun-loving, adrenaline junkie that everyone sees, Niran can actually be quite wise. After all, he has lived a long time. And has lived many different lives, in many different lifestyles - he was even a monk, for a time. That didn't end well...for the monks. Someone who gets bored easily, he is constantly living on the edge of life. He knows that he can't easily be killed, not by any means a fragile human can, so he just throws himself head-first into things. If something seems even remotely interesting, he's doing it. Not necessarily the most moral of beings, his long life has warped him. Not entirely connected to his humanity, he doesn't even try to fit in - yet the human mind does wonders trying to convince itself of things. Now that isn't to say he's completely immoral - there are certain times he remembers his old life, his human life, and when he remembers, he gets sentimental. Down for anything, literally anything, he's easy to recruit for whatever adventure you want to take part in - and he'll keep the energy up, it's a party when he's around. Cold and cruel when someone crosses him, he doesn't see it that way. He's a vampire - why shouldn't he take advantage of all that his transformation has offer. He embraces it - loves it, even - and he uses it to his advantage.

Backstory: Niran was bit in Thailand, where he is from. Where he was raised. And this happened 500 years ago. He doesn't remember all that much of his human life, it has faded a bit in his long years - he only remembers that he asked for it. To be a vampire. And that his wish was granted by his lover one evening. That is all he really remembers - though he gets flashes of vivid memory here and there. Sometimes he feels nostalgic for those missing years, but mostly not. He'd been a frail and thin young man with a bad home life and nothing to support his family - a family that treated him horridly anyways. His true life began when he was bit. In these past 500 years, he has lived many lives and nearly exposed vampires more times than can be counted or remembered. He was even a monk for a bit, just curious what that life was like. He lasted for a decade - longer than he expected he would - but boredom caught up to him, and he let only one monk out alive so that the traditions and knowledge wouldn't be completely lost. Otherwise, he simply travels and goes where he wants. Well-known in the vampire world, he is one of the biggest nomadic vampires, and has turned countless others. Living to stir the pot - because life is more fun that way - Niran is very much a vampire that believes in his superiority. Powerful, strong, nearly unstoppable. Nor does he make many efforts to hide himself - he does the bare minimum. Beloved by some, hated by others, Niran is certainly an acquired taste to the vamps and supernatural creatures, but he also carries status and power - and money. He is rich. Mega rich. His words and suggestions are respected, and many higher-up vampires in their political society go to him for counsel or advice - which he obliges. He may not seem it, but he is incredibly wise, and he loves his species.
