Personality: Arabella is an overall happy individual. She is extroverted and friendly and kind. Chat with a stranger? Absolutely. She is not naive or gullible, though she gives off the air of someone who may be. She's just hopeless optimistic. How can things be bad if they don't seem bad, right? She gets a little lonely sometimes, and she can get a little down, but she is fairly easy to cheer up again. She loves affection, especially hugs. Hugs are her favorite. She is sweet. She is best described as having the personality of a chaotic puppy. It's a fairly apt description. She is loyal to those she deems worthy of it, though she is far too trusting.

Backstory: Arabella was a duchess, way back when. She'd been married off at 18 to a duke, assuming the title and role of his duchess. The two hardly ever spoke to one another, he was often away. For business or pleasure, not even Arabella was sure. She never found out, either. Four years after their marriage, Arabella was turned by a guest of her husband's. Her husband never found out, nor was he ever aware of the supernatural world. If he was ever aware of his wife remaining 22 forever, he never gave any indication. 8 years after she was turned she met Edith, then 4 years later she turned Edith into a vampire. Arabella had been on her own when learning to control her vampirism and she helped Edith through it. A year later, her husband was lost at sea, never to be heard from again. Arabella's care was then handed over to his nephew, something she was not fond of. Over the course of a few months, Arabella moved finances around. When she had moved enough for her and Edith to live on, the two fled. Now, over a hundred years later, the two are still friends and still together.

Other: some speculate of the true nature of Edith and Arabella, often suspecting a romance between them. In truth, they are practically soulmates, but nothing romantic has ever gone on between them, nor ever will. But they are a bonded a pair. With one, comes the other.
