The little lawnhead learned his rather extensive vocabulary from his scholarly mother, and once she had passed, he continued adding words to his repertoire through reading everything he could get his hands on, even while he struggled to survive on the streets (this, of course, being before he realized exactly what his magic could get him if he applied it correctly).
