Cry Warps Reality in Death Battle!

Before we begin, there will be two people talking during these character previews. The first will talk with the text normal as you see here, and the second will talk with the text as BOLD. Now that that's out of the way, let's begin!

Since the creation of stories themselves, people have always had the thought in their mind of what it would be like to have their own character in a story.

And over generations, the people have done just that, making some of the craziest characters to ever be imagined.

Indeed. For this battle, we will be be having 7 different OC's, or original characters, battle it out to determine who truly is the strongest of them all.

Now we say 7 OC's, but we're only including them from 6 different stories, which means 1 story has 2 participants. The reason for this is because both OC's share equal value within their respected universe as the main characters, so it's impossible to use one without having the other.

Exactly. And the 6 stories we'll be taking these OC's from are: Class 1-B's Ace, The Tempest Furies, Team DLTA, The 5th Hero, MHA in America, and Chilling Steel. And as such, we'll be doing previews on the characters in the same order listed above with the stories.

He's Trishula97 and i'm Cowil2353, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a death battle!

Cry's Preview:

Imagine a world where the extraordinary, is ordinary. Where superpowers are common. So called "Quirks," which can be trained at distinguished academies in hopes of becoming a superhero.

I know what you're thinking, "if everyone's got a power, then no one is super, right?" Except most quirks are really lame and don't give people much benefits. Such as stretchy eye balls or the ability to regrow hair instantly after its cut.

And as common as quirks come, there are those few who possess a quirk so rare, they only appear once every generation or 2. Some of you may already know one of these rare quirk holders, Tenshonoma Cryshiki.

Please, he prefers to be called, Cry. And his quirk was absolutely mind-blowing! In the awesome way, not the literal.

Name: Tenshonoma "Cry" Cryshiki

Age: 17

Nationality: Japanese

Hero Alias: End Game, Shifter, Arsenal

Height: 6'

Currently a student at U.A High

Temporary instructor at Persevering Heights Academy in the United States

Maybe to you it's awesome, but to others and even himself, it was a tremendous burden. You see, Cry had the unique quirk, dubbed "Unstable," which allowed his body to wield more than one ability. And upon reaching the age of 16, he had acquired 8 of them.

Ranging from dragon wings which gave him the power of flight, to increasing his physical strength with PSI, to shooting freakin' plasma!? Holy crap, this kid is way too op!

Far from it to be exact. Upon discovering Cry had this kind of quirk, everyone around him, whether they be students at school or random people who recognized him on the streets, saw him as a freak. For his entire life, Cry was subjected to having no friends at all and was actually bullied daily at all of his schools.

The only people who really did care about the poor kid was his parents, mom especially. So, after Cry graduated from middle school, they set out to try and help him find a way to just fit in with society. At first, their plan was to send him to a private high school, but even they were hesitant on that idea.

However, it was Cry himself who decided on what he wanted to do next. Inspired by his own mother, who just so happened to be the number 14 ranked pro hero: Wrath Queen, Cry made the difficult decision that he would try to become a hero as well. His goal was to become one so he could make his actions speak for himself. So people could see him for who he really is, and not what he is.

And to become a hero, Cry had to enroll into the greatest hero high school of them all, U.A High! But to get in, first he had to pass one hell of an entrance exam.

To him, it wasn't much difficulty. Which 7 abilities to his name at the time, Cry was able to blitz his way through the entrance exam and gain entry into U.A. His first steps to becoming a true hero.

But then some idiot decided to put him in the class of extras! He was put into the lesser known class of 1-B. You know, the one with the girl with big hands, and the Kirishima ripoff who can make his skin steel. You know, the ones no one cares abou-*SLAP!* OW! What the hell was that for!?

Don't you fucking dare say such rude things about Class 1-B! They're just as good, if not better, than the all too well known, Class 1-A!

Oh yeah? Then why'd they lose to them, even with Cry, during their joint training session?

Ahem, anyways, moving on! Upon entering Class 1-B, Cry found himself in an entirely new world than what he was used to. He quickly found himself befriending many of the students in the class, some you already know bring Itsuka Kendo, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, and even Yui Kodai.

And they were all trained by one of the most badass anime teachers to ever exist! The Blood Hero: Vlad King!

That's right, and under his tutelage, Cry began to finally gain control over his quirk.

Yeah, before hand, Cry only had total control over one of his abilities, and that was the dragon wings. Besides that, his PSI would cause major bruising, similar to another student in Class A with curly green hair. His Plasma could risk burning off his arms, and his Overdrive ability would make him sleep for 10 hours straight right after he would use it!

But all this training paid off when it came time for the U.A Sports Festival. An annual tournament held by the school which would help show off what the students have accomplished since enrolling, such as their own development with their quirks.

And did Cry ever develop here. He was able to easily make it past the first event which was the obstacle course, and then in the second event, the cavalry battle, he teamed up with well known General Studies student at U.A, Hitoshi Shinso. The two of them understood one another, and Cry figured out how Shinso's quirk worked, so he cut him a deal.

By promising he will get Shinso to the third and final round, he was promised that Shinso wouldn't use his brainwashing quirk on him. And, they actually did it! The two won the event and moved on, forming a bit of a bromance from then onward.

Don't get too excited though. Just before the Sports Festival started, Cry already grew a relationship with Kyoka Jiro. You know, the girl with the long earlobes that can jack into things from Class A.

Not important. Now that Cry was in the final round, he was set to face off against his fellow  classmates of U.A. And in his first fight, he stood off against everyone's favourite pink acid spraying hero in training, Mina Ashido. But by using his dragon wings for maneuverability to avoid her quirk, Cry was able to simply throw her right off the battle arena.

But the quarter finals was a totally different story. His next opponent was the super cool, Fumikage Tokoyami. His quirk "Dark Shadow" was said to be unbeatable, given the fact it didn't have many clear weaknesses. But Cry's a smart cookie and he analyzed everyone who was left in the competition. And by doing so, he determined Tokoyami's weakness was light. But he didn't actually have a way to use light with his quirk, so he had to improvise. So he used his plasma ability and shot the ground in front of Tokoyami, the light from the explosions making Dark Shadow weaker. And bing, bang, boom, Cry KO'd Tkoyami and moved on to the next round.

But in the semi-finals came an even greater challenge. He was to face Katsuki Bakugo, U.A's resident bad boy and explosion obsessionist. The fight was brutal for Cry, with Bakugo giving him almost no room to attack or defend. But despite being blasted repeatedly from Bakugo's explosions, Cry was determined not to quit. He fought back, picking his moments to strike and eventually wore Bakugo down. The two nearly beating each other to death, they both tried to finish the fight with one savage blow. But in the end, and having broken one of his arms, Cry stood as the victor and advanced to the grand finals.

And after a quick heal, Cry was set to take on the most emo student of them all, the son of the number 2 hero in the country! Cry faced off with the Icy-Hot Shoto Todoroki.

In one of the greatest fights in U.A history, the two appeared evenly matched, trading blow for blow with neither showing any sign of slowing down. But after Cry inspired Todoroki, the ice/fire user unleashed his true power, his flames. Todoroki soon gained the advantage, driving Cry to his limits.

But Cry is not quitter. In fact, he claims he doesn't know the meaning of the word, "Quit." So what did he do? He went past his safety limits with all his quirks, not caring about breaking his body and evening the playing field once more. And when the two went for their strongest moves, the whole earth itself might as well have shook on that day.

When the dust cleared, only one remained standing. Cry stood over Todoroki, victorious.

Yeah, but the victory for him was kinda short lived. Remember how we said he went past him safety barriers with his abilities? Yeah, he paid the price by doing that. And in his final exchange with Todoroki, Cry literally blew off his ring and pinky fingers on his left hand. No healing quirk's gonna bring those back, kid. You dun' goofed.

And shortly after being taken away to the infirmary, Cry's 8th and final ability manifested. Just your standard super hearing, nothing too special. And for a while afterwards, besides having to fight the pro hero: Mt. Lady for a final exam, Cry didn't really change very much.

But then skip ahead to some class A and B forest training. During one of their nights, an up and coming group of villains attacked their site, and were even focusing on taking some of the students back with them. You all know Bakugo was one of them, and of course, Cry was the other. Running into a villain who called himself Dabi at the time, Cry fought the fight of his life. But as we all know, Dabi ain't no slouch and made Cry work for a win. And, in the middle of their battle, Dabi closed the gap and placed one of his flaming hands right onto Cry's face, imprinting it and leaving one nasty burn mark over the right side of his face.

Correct. And, despite defeating Dabi, Cry became overwhelmed when more villains appeared. He was captured, along with Bakugo, and was taken away to the villains hideout where the two met the leader of the League of Villains, Tomura Shigaraki. He offered them both a deal, join their group and cause chaos and destruction, or die. And i'm sure you all know what option they both picked.

And only a few hours later, the pro heroes arrived to save them and kick some villain ass! Or, they would have if some unknown person didn't interfere and teleport Cry and Bakugo, and all the villains, to an entirely different location. And upon arriving, the boys met the greatest villain of them all! All for One.

But with neither of the boys wanting to join the League, All for One had no use for them. But that didn't mean he wouldn't recruit their quirks to their cause. You see, All for One had the unique quirk that allowed him to steal other peoples quirks. And so, by seeing All for One try to take away Bakugo's quirk, Cry stepped in the way and took the burden instead. But thanks to All Might, the world's number 1 ranked hero, the process was incomplete and Cry only had 5 of his 8 abilities stolen from him.

Still, with those abilities now gone, things got a lot harder for Cry. He had to adjust and work twice as hard to catch up with his classmates. Especially since, at the time, he was going to be taking an exam so he could acquire a semi-pro hero license. But the young gun persevered, and he earned that license, basically giving him sidekick status in just his first year of hero school!

But things would change for Cry once more when another event started up at U.A. Shortly after gaining his semi-pro license, Cry and a handful of other first year students at U.A were chosen to participate with a few pro heroes in what is called the "Work Studies" program. Here, students essentially become sidekicks for a temporary period of time. Cry worked under his mother's superior, the current number 4 ranked hero in the country: Edgeshot. But after a few short days, a great gathering of heroes was called, with Cry and a handful of class A students being brought into.

You see, there's this dude named Overhaul who was creating quirk destroying bullets from a little girl named, Eri. One shot from these bullets and you can kiss your quirk goodbye forever. So obviously, this was one critical mission they were about to start.

The plan was simple, rescue Eri from this group of villains and arrest their leader. But in typical superhero fashion, it didn't go according to plan. Upon raiding the villains base, the heroes quickly became separated, with Cry finding himself all on his own. And after traversing the underground hideout, he came face to face with both targets. But in order to rescue Eri, Cry had to defeat Overhaul first.

Cry knew from some leaked info that if Overhaul touched anything with just a finger, he could disassemble or reassemble anything. So this fight was incredibly tough for the kid. Timing was everything, and Overhaul came pretty close to landing that single touch on Cry. But Cry somehow managed to avoid every attempt at him and land that finishing blow on Overhaul which knocked him out. Or.... so he thought.

That's right. After Cry thought he had won, he turned his back to his opponent to retrieve Eri, but in that brief moment, it all came crashing down. Overhaul used his quirk to shoot large spikes out of the floor and impale Cry through his arms and legs, pinning him in place. And to make matters infinitely worse, Overhaul finally touched Cry. And with just a thought, he killed Cry.

Don't think that's it for the kid though; no, no, no, we're not even close to being done yet. You see, even after killing someone, Overhaul can reassemble them back to perfect condition.

Correct, and that's exactly what he did with Cry, only he came back fully unconscious. You see, Overhaul discovered that Cry, like a small handful of others, wielded a quirk that granted 2 or more abilities. So instead of ending his life permanently, he decided to capture Cry and use him as a test subject, all while the base was being raided.

Overhaul's plan was to see if his quirk killing drug would destroy all of Cry's abilities. So Cry was forcefully injected with the serum, and after just a few seconds, *POOF!* everything was gone.

Cry was devastated, knowing that this time, his quirk was truly gone forever. And Overhaul left him with a message before leaving him there to suffer in his own reality. Having reassembled Cry with his quirk, Overhaul gave him back his whole body, but left out his right arm, a sign that Overhaul now owned Cry, and a single snap of his fingers could end his life just like before.

Man, this has got to be the unluckiest kid in all anime. But I guess with all this crappy luck, some good stuff had to come his way eventually.

And it did. While laying and strapped down to an operating table, Cry's body somehow suddenly began to produce some strange form of energy. And when a burst of said energy literally warped the room around him, Cry was freed, left to wonder what the hell was going on with him. His veins glowed with a bright purple hue now, and thinking that his quirk really wasn't gone, he tried activating the abilities he had.

But none of them worked. And then after wishing he had a right arm, his veins glowed even brighter than they already were and then, *BOOM!* A new arm popped out of thin air for him; and this one was made of literal diamond! It attached itself to him at a subatomic level, and Cry could move it around normally as if it was his own flesh and blood arm. He had no fucking clew what was going on, but he tried using this strange power for offense, figuring out how he can shoot freakin' energy beams from his new arm.

Figuring it was the best he could do, Cry reunited with his friend, Izuku Midoriya, and together, they took on Overhaul once more. But figuring that their current level of power wasn't enough, Midoriya had no choice but to use his quirk, One for All, at its absolute maximum output. And Cry had the same idea, but knowing he didn't have OFA anyways, he imagined having the same kind of power.

But that's when it freakin' happened! A massive power suddenly surged through Cry's new diamond arm and then channeled throughout the rest of his body! He literally copied One for All, and the two of them absolutely wrecked Overhaul with one savage blow to the fucking face. All was said and done for the boys as they passed out immediately after the brawl.

And upon waking up in the hospital, the doctor, and his mother who was also on the mission, revealed to him what happened. You see, when Cry was injected with the quirk killing virus, his abilities fought back against it. Having more than one ability, the virus couldn't overwhelm the quirk gene like it normally would and the two destroyed each other. But, their remains merged together and made something new. A brand new quirk unlike any the world had seen before, potentially even greater than One for All. The power of Reality itself.

FINALLY! WE CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT SOME GOD DAMN FEATS! This quirk is the one Cry's been rockin' with to this date, and he has certainly done some crazy shit with it!

That's correct. Learning he cannot create or effect any organic materials like people or animals, Cry learned how to wield this new power overtime at U.A. And while his choices for attacks ma seem too generic, he's certainly done incredible things with them.

Offense:

Element creation and manipulation (Fire, Lightning, Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, Magma, etc.)

Environment Shifting (Standard-Ocean-Volcano-Outer Space, etc.)

One for All

Incarnate Forms (Fire, Thunder, Plasma)

In his early days with his first quirk, Cry's matched and even surpassed other students like Bakugo and Todoroki. Bakugo in particulars has a move, the Howitzer Impact, which strikes with well over 100 tons of TNT. And Cry was able to overpower him in their fight!

But that pales in comparison to what he can do with One for All. Now, it's highly unlikely we can scale Cry's offensive capabilities to say, All Might, given the experience and knowledge they both have with the quirk being so different, but we can still scale Cry to feats that Midoriya has done. However, unlike Midoriya, Cry can only use One for All currently at either 100%, or not at all, so we can only match him to Midoriya during the times he's used OFA at 100% as well.

Well it's a good thing both of their strongest feats of all time come within that ball park for them! In the My Hero Academia second movie: Heroes Rising(Class B went to it instead of Class A for this comparison), Midoriya and Bakugo, having shared the power of OFA, punched a massive shockwave into this enormous thunderstorm and literally blew it up!

In order to determine the size and output required to annihilate this thunderstorm, we first had to look at the size of Nabu island beneath it. Now since no size is given during the movie, which by the way is canon, we had to look at a more real life counterpart of it. In this case, we have the islands of Daito in Japan.

We figured out the diameter of the island, looking at its longest point and determined that Nabu is about 4.25 kilometers in diameter.

So now that we have the diameter of the island, we can find the diameter of the storm. Now since the edges of the screen don't reveal where the thunderstorm ends, we unfortunately have to use as much as we're given. But by taking in the diameter of Nabu, we can determine that the Thunderstorm above the island is around 68 Kilometers in diameter.

And taking into account the size and average mass of a thunderstorm, which is huge, we can figure out the force needed for Midoriya and Bakugo to destroy the storm.

In Class 1-B's Ace, after Cry also shared One for All with fellow classmates Kendo and Monoma, it was the three of them who destroyed the storm. But since it's been shown that just 2 people can do it, we're allowed to scale Cry up to that level.

Right, and after doing the calculations, we have determined that the energy output needed to destroy a thunderstorm this huge comes to nearly 22 Gigatons of TNT. However, since 2 people originally performed this feat, we need to cut it in half to determine Cry's maximum output. With this deduction, Cry's absolute maxium output is over 11 Gigatons of TNT, or around 11 Billion Tons of TNT.

That's more than 220 times stronger than the biggest nuclear bomb ever detonated, which was 50 megatons! Screw All Might, this kid's the real strongest.

Cry's can certainly hit hard, but he can also take a lot of pain as well. As we said before, he survived taking Bakugo's Howitzer Impact to the face, which is well over 100 tons of TNT. But all his peers feats pale in comparison to the supervillain, Gigantomachia.

When it came time in Japan for the heroes to go to war with the League of villains, Cry found himself facing off against this massive brute. And to this day, Machia's greatest show of strength was demolishing an entire section of a mountain!

Scaling the dual craters in the mountain to the pine trees below, we can determine its size, and therefore, the blast yield required to make such an impact. And after calculations, Gigantomachia must've struck the mountain will well over 2 and a half gigatons of TNT.

So it's safe to say that Cry can take one hell of a hit too, considering he survived multiple from Machia! This kid really doesn't know what quit means, after all! And he's super hard to hit as well, seeing as he's on par with fellow students Bakugo, Todoroki, and Tokoyami!

That's right! During the Sports Festival, Tokoyami's dark shadow was able to intercept Kaminari's lightning. Given that he cannot control the electricity, it travels in relatively straight lines, and can even be deflected, it's easy to say this is in fact real lightning and travels at the same speeds. And since Dark shadow was able to intercept it, this means he can move around 200,000 MPH. And seeing as Todoroki and Bakugo, who Cry certainly compares to, dodged dark shadow multiple times, it's easy to say that Cry can react to this lightning quick speed as well.

But that speed ain't nothin' when it comes to Cry's ultimate forms! By using One for All and channeling it through his whole body, and then doing the same with an element, Cry himself merges the two together, changing himself into the element! The Elemental God Incarnate!

Right, going back to Cry's battle on Nabu island, we first see him merging One for All with the element of Fire. This grants Cry intangibility and has even been said to have heat compared to that of the sun itself.

Hell, a single step from him can cause explosion to erupt from the earth itself! And this is his weakest Incarnate form! Lightning God Incarnate comes next, and he certainly lives up to that lightning quick speed now.

Indeed he does, seeing as he can move so fast, opponents often cannot see him move at all, only seeing the dust he's kicked up afterwards. In this form, besides the enormous speed boost, Cry is able to wield lightning to his very will, summoning it from the sky, from his body, or even mold it into various objects such as a sword for example.

But even that doesn't even come close to his final form! Plasma God Incarnate! In this state, Cry becomes a living plasma person, capable of pretty much walking through any attack that's thrown at him. No power boosts, no speed boosts here, it's just the sheer level of heat coursing around him that's boosted here. And it's honestly ridiculous how strong he becomes.

On average, the surface of the sun's temperature sits at around 9900 degrees fahrenheit. Definitely hot enough to melt away anything near it..... but not even close to the temperature Cry's producing. And that's because plasma burns over 4.5 times hotter than the sun, around 45000 degrees fahrenheit. Cry can essentially walk through just about whatever he wants when like this, and he's even proven it by jumping clean through Gigantomachia's chest.

But the unfortunate thing about these forms is that Cry can only keep them up for maybe 2-3 minutes. And after that, he gets pretty exhausted, which makes it hard to use Reality or One for All.

Right, for Cry to actually wield Reality, he needs to use a tremendous amount of focus to actually visualize what he wants to do or create, otherwise an unstable vision may rip apart the very time/space continuum. But going through brutal training with his teacher, Vlad King, has taught him to keep a level of focus even in the roughest of environments, so it's pretty tough for him to lose focus at all.

But despite all this awesome stuff he's done, he still has his fair share of weaknesses. Obviously being a hero is his biggest one, as villains simply take a hostage or something like that, and he can't do anything about it.

Weaknesses:

Recklessness

The Hero's Code

Often exhausts himself in dangerous situations

Will purposely let himself get hurt just to get a hit in

Can lose focus if overwhelmed or hit hard enough by some other force

But even with these weaknesses of his, he's certainly proven that he can push past all of them at times, achieving incredible feats that no one thought he could do.

Feats:

Survived Bakugo's Howitzer Impact (100+ tons of TNT)

Was impaled by Stain and then Slice and did not die

Can react and move as fast as lightning (200,000+ MPH)

Withstood GigantoMachia's punches which destroy mountains (2.5+ Gigatons of TNT)

Once destroyed an actual thunderstorm in one shot (11 Gigatons of TNT)

Defeated: Bakugo, Todoroki, Dabi, Overhaul, Gigantomachia, Tomura Shigaraki

Yeah, i'd say his actions have spoken louder than his words. If all this hasn't shown you what this kid is really made of, then you've got one hell of a screw loose!

And when the war in Japan was all said and done, Cry went on a year later to become a temporary teacher for his mother, who'd taken up the duty of teaching an all new generation of young heroes in the United States.

But that's a story for another time, which we'll see later on when we cover one of Cry's opponents for this battle, Phobos Martellin.

Indeed. Cry began his journey as a shy and timid young boy, just wanting to fit in with the rest of society and be treated as a normal being. But thanks to his studies at U.A, he's turned himself into a person people can look up to and call out when they need help.

Villains, run away whenever you hear his name, because he is coming to find you. Few can match the raw and incredible power of Tenshonoma Cryshiki, the Reality Hero: Arsenal!
