Green-Eyed Monsters vs. Twilight pt. 2

Part 2 of this crossover fic.

Jacob has been wandering around Seoul for a long time. As he walked down the streets, many of the locals spotted Jacob and kept a distance from him due to his perpetual glare. As he walked, he even pushed some individuals out of his way. A woman carrying groceries yelped when Jacob pushed her.

Don't worry, Bella. I will keep finding you no matter what it takes. Even if it kills me. Jacob thought.

Meanwhile, the Cullens finally found an inn to stay in. The innkeepers happened to be fluent in English and welcomed them in.

Bella looks at the inn in disgust, the inn looks very traditional and Bella wanted to stay in an inn that looks more Western in architecture.

"Oh come on, Bella. This place looks fun. Plus you can learn more about Korean culture." Alice said, trying to comfort Bella.

I can't wait until we leave. Bella thought.

Meanwhile...

Biyu, Jun, Hyun-ae, and Jong-suk finished their coffee and food and exit Cafe Le Chat.

They stopped at a bus stop and wait for a bus.

Biyu sat while staring at the ground, thinking angrily and apprehensively.

After seeing Edward and Bella, they reminded her of characters from a book and film franchise she disliked.

"That creepy couple reminded me of the main characters from that crappy book/film series that used to be so popular eons ago," Biyu remarked.

"Which one?" Jun asked.

"I think it's called Red Skies? It's been a long time but I remember that series is so boring and toxic. It made stalking look cute, the guy in the story would mistreat the girl, it implies that you should return someone's feelings even if you're not interested in them, and there are way too many staring scenes in the movies." Biyu explained.

"Oh...Red Skies. Don't get me started on that." Jun replied.

"Ewww...not that series," Hyun-ae remarked, closing her eyes in disgust.

"Red Skies was wasted potential. It had its chance but I guess the creator wanted to take the easy way out and ended up promoting very questionable Aesops."

"That couple I encountered earlier look like the characters from Red Skies. Maybe they are huge fans of the series and cosplayed as them? Oh, wait I forgot, the man's eyes look naturally unnaturally colored. If it was cosplay then they did a good job." Biyu said.

"I'm looking forward to this new movie about a woman who is being haunted by the ghost of her abusive ex-boyfriend. I heard people say it's a metaphorical depiction of an abusive relationship." Hyun-ae stated.

"Oh that movie, The Unseen Man! I've been looking forward to seeing that." Jong-suk said excitedly.

"It's going to be in theaters in two days," Jun informed.

"Let's go watch it together next time," Biyu suggested.

Later...

The bus arrives and the four friends stepped inside. When they arrive at the bus stop in their hometown, they exit and part ways.

Jong-suk and Hyun-ae walked toward the direction of their homes, leaving Jun and Biyu alone together.

Jun and Biyu watch as Hyun-ae and Jong-suk are far away before walking home together. They did not want them to know that they are dating yet.

"It's just us now," Jun said, gently clasping Biyu's hand as they walked side by side.

Biyu places a hand near her mouth to hold in her laughter.

She lays her head on Jun, resting her head on his right arm. Finally back to her happy place.

"Do you want to stay for a little while at my place before going home?" Biyu offered.

Jun stopped to contemplate and process.

"Yeah," he replied after remembering his parents are out of town.

"Nobody's home right now," Biyu said.

They walk the rest of the way to Biyu's house, still holding hands.

Meanwhile, Hyun-ae finally arrived home. Mr. and Mrs. Jang greeted her, happy that she is home.

"Hyun-ae! We have some news. We have guests and they are tourists!" Mrs. Jang said.

"Guests? Tourist guests?" Hyun-ae said, feeling excited that there are tourist guests staying at her family's inn.

Hyun-ae went to the dining area to meet the guests but right when she spotted them, her expression shifted from excited to horrified. She recognized the guests staying at her inn...

It was the Cullens, along with Bella.

Hyun-ae did not remember seeing Bella when Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Emmet, and Rosalie confronted her but that did not matter to her. She is horrified that the Cullens she encountered are staying in her family's inn which is also her home.

What?! Them?! What are they doing here? Hyun-ae thought. A bead of sweat drips down her forehead.

Mrs. Jang walked Hyun-ae over to the Cullens to introduce her to them.

"This is my eldest daughter, Hyun-ae." Mrs. Jang said in English.

The Cullens looked up from their dinner and looked at Hyun-ae.

Hyun-ae awkwardly waved hello, feeling the Cullens' eyes on her.

They probably recognized me. Hyun-ae thought apprehensively.

"She just arrived home after spending time with her friends." Mrs. Jang explains to the Cullens in English.

Mrs. Jang turned to Hyun-ae

"You can go now." Mrs. Jang whispered.

Hyun-ae slowly walked in the direction of her family's home space. When she reached the stairs, she hurriedly runs up the stairs and towards her bedroom.

She closes her door shut, locks it, and leans against the door, breathing heavily and trying to process what she just saw.

What is going on? What are they doing here? This is a nightmare! Why, Buddha? What did I do to deserve this? Hyun-ae thought.

She slides down the door into a sitting position and hastily takes out her phone to message Biyu, Jun, and Jong-suk in their group chat.

Hyun-ae: "Ugh! You guys won't believe this! It's them! That creepy family I encountered earlier! They are staying at my family's inn!"

Jong-suk: "Oh no..."

Jun: "No way"

Biyu: "No...no...this can't be happening."

Hyun-ae: "I see there are two more people with them."

Biyu: "Two more people...What do they look like?"

Hyun-ae: "There's a man and a girl. The man looks deathly pale, brown hair, amber eyes, he looks like he's staring in your soul. The girl has a heart-shaped face, long brown hair, and looks perpetually stony-faced."

Biyu: "Omo that's them! That's the couple I saw earlier!"

Jong-suk: "This is a horrible turn of events."

Jun: "Whatever you do, avoid eye contact with them."

Hyun-ae: "I can't wait until these weirdos leave."

Hyun-ae hears a knock at her door.

Being paranoid, Hyun-ae asks who is on the other side of her door.

"Who is it?"

"It's Seohyun" A voice of an elementary school girl answered.

Oh, it's just Seohyun. Hyun-ae thought. She opens the door to see her kid sister.

Seohyun stood with her hands behind her back, looking up at her older sister. Hyun-ae beckoned Seohyun to come inside and closes the door once she entered.

"I saw the guests." Seohyun said, sitting on Hyun-ae's rug-covered floor and eating cookies n' cream biscuit sticks Hyun-ae gave her.

"Yeah, me too." Hyun-ae eating a fat macaron she bought from Cafe Le Chat.

Hyun-ae wondered if she should tell Seohyun about her encounter with the Cullens.

She gathered enough courage to speak up.

"Hey, Seohyun, there's something I haven't told Mom and Dad so I'm telling you." Hyun-ae said.

Seohyun stopped eating and turned to look at Hyun-ae.

"I've...I've met those guests before they came here," Hyun-ae replied.

Seohyun widened her eyes in shock, food still inside her mouth. She swallowed so that she can speak.

"You met them before?" Seohyun asked.

"Yeah, I was on my way to the coffee shop to be with Biyu, Jun, and Jong-suk, and I ran into them along the way. They asked for directions for a hotel." Hyun-ae explained.

"And then they ended up staying here..." Seohyun remarked.

"I know we just met them and but there is something about them that really bothers me," Hyun-ae said.

"Is it because they look like ghosts and zombies?" Seohyun asked, holding a biscuit stick before biting it.

"When I first saw them, they did look kind of scary to me. The guy with the poofy, slopey brown hair looked the scariest." Seohyun admitted.

"No, actually," Hyun-ae replied.

"I mean I was creeped out by their appearances at first but there's something about them that bothered me," Hyun-ae said, rubbing the side of her face with her finger.

"They gave off this very creepy energy," Hyun-ae explained, widening her eyes in terror.

Seohyun gasps quietly in horror.

"My gut keeps telling me that something is suspicious about them," Hyun-ae admitted.

"I can't wait until they all leave," Seohyun said, looking in the direction of Hyun-ae's door.

Unbeknownst to the sisters, Alice has been secretly eyeing them using her visions. Before Hyun-ae arrived home, Alice has a vision that Hyun-ae is coming.

—————Flashback Meanwhile——————

Alice gasps after receiving a precognitive vision.

"That Korean girl we encountered earlier. This is her home." Alice informed the others.

"What a coincidence," Jasper remarked.

Carlisle informs Edward and Bella about the others' encounter with Hyun-ae when asking for directions.

"When she first met us, she looked suspicious of us. Did you see the look on her face? I think we should go elsewhere." Esme suggested.

"No, we have no other choice but to stay here. The Volturi and Victoria wouldn't suspect us of being here." Carlisle said.

Bella rolled her eyes and looked at the dinner Mrs. Jang gave her, it was tteok-bokki and she hated it.

"This food looks like garbage. I want American food." Bella mumbled.

Unbeknownst to Bella, Mrs. Jang overheard what she said and understood as well.

Mrs. Jang happened to be in the same room, dusting the windows.

When she heard Bella insult the tteok-bokki she made for her and the Cullens, she stopped dusting for a while and looked back briefly.

She quietly walked back to the home space, away from the earshot of the guests.

"My Goodness, I thought they were all nice. But it seems only one of them is impolite and inconsiderate." Mrs. Jang said angrily.

"She told me her name and what was it again?" Mrs. Jang thought, scratching her head.

"Isabella Swan? Bella Swan?"

Mr. Jang came by, holding a box of ramen packets. He stopped when he noticed his wife brooding.

"What happened?" Mr. Jang asked.

Mrs. Jang angrily exhales from her nose.

"One of the guests most likely hates it here, and by extension, hates staying in Korea." Mrs. Jang replied.

Mr. Jang widened his eyes in surprise and then glares.

"Which one of them?" He asked.

"Bella, Bella Swan. The only one who doesn't look unhealthily pale and anemic." Mrs. Jang replied, crossing her arms.

"Oh her. She did not seem like a nice person when she first got here. I could tell by the look on her face that she doesn't like it here." Mr. Jang said, recalling the time when the Cullens and Bella arrived at their inn.

"Bella said that she hates my tteok-bokki and wanted American food. She had the gall to say it loud and clear, too, not realizing that I understand English and knew exactly what she is saying. I can tell she most likely hates Korean food in general and hates it here."

"Usually, the foreign guests who stayed here like it here because it's clear they are fascinated with Korean culture which is why they traveled to Korea in the first place. But Bella, she is different." Mr. Jang said, observantly.

"Let's pretend we do not know because they will get suspicious." Mrs. Jang said.

The Cullens and Bella finished their dinner and went into the guest rooms. Bella, however, exited her and Edward's guest room and went outside to get some fresh air.

She looked around at the infrastructure of the neighborhood and sighed angrily.

"This neighborhood has a convenience store? That is so lame and boring. Why can't we go to a fancier country like France?" Bella complained.

"You're not the only one who hates it here." A familiar voice said.

Bella gasps and turned around. There standing before her is Jacob and he is half-naked as expected. Bella couldn't believe her eyes.

How did Jacob find her? How did he know that she and the Cullens were moving to South Korea?

"Jake, what are you doing here? How did you find me?" Bella asked in confusion.

"I eavesdropped and heard your conversation back in the USA and I snuck into the plane you and the cold ones were riding in," Jacob replied.

"Jake, I'm happy to see you but you shouldn't be here. If Edward and the others find out you are here, there will be tension." Bella pointed out.

"And that is why I'm meeting you at this time. It's evening. There aren't a lot of people walking around at this time." Jacob said arrogantly, bouncing on his heels.

Bella became concerned about Jacob, knowing that he arrived in South Korea without a passport and luggage.

"Where are you staying?" Bella asked.

"I'm staying in the woods an hour away. There is a village near it and I can just steal clothes on
the clotheslines." Jacob replied.

"Has anyone seen you without a shirt?" Bella asked.

"Don't worry, I have my shirt with me," Jacob said, he sticks his hand into the front of his shorts, causing Bella to widen her eyes in shock and assume he is trying to show her his crotch. He pulled out his T-shirt which he has been hiding in his pants.

"Ugh, Jake," Bella said in disgust.

Unbeknownst to Bella and Jacob, Hyun-ae could see them from her bedroom window. She saw the whole encounter and Jacob pulling his shirt out of his pants which disgusted her.

Hyun-ae hastily texted in her friend's group chat about what she saw from inside her bedroom.

(Texting)

Hyun-ae: "There was this shirtless guy that came out of nowhere."

Jong-suk: "A shirtless guy? It's 9 degrees Celsius! What is he doing walking around like that?"

Hyun-ae: "It looks like one of the guests knows him."

Jong-suk: "Let's see what Jun and Biyu will think about this."

Meanwhile, Jun and Biyu haven't been paying attention to the group chat. They were busy playing a rhythm game together.
