Laira lived a rather normal life and her relationship with her parents is good. They do have arguments, but in the end they make up and forget it ever happened.

However her parents have noticed how mature Laira is and how serious she perceives the world. Even from young age Laira preferred to be alone.  When her sister was born she didn't like her at first, at all, even if Renee was just a innocent baby. That all changed once she grew up and both sisters have a rather nornal relationship. One minute they could argue, the next they will protect each other with their life.

She has a rather weird relationship with her mom as her mother is very practical and likes to have order in everything and Laira tried to meet her expectations, but gave up knowing that her mother will never be satisfied.
