Sophia is a literal ray of sunshine. She almost always has a smile on her face and radiates positive energy. She is extremely kind and empathetic but that doesn't make her naive. She will jump at any opportunity to help anyone.

Backstory

Sophia grew up with a brother who is four years older than her and loving parents. Unfortunately when she was twelve the two divorced due to the fact they just didn't get along with each other. It wasn't anything too shocking to her, since she and her brother sometimes ended up being in a crossfire of a argument. It was really the best decision for their family.

What really made her life do a 180° turn, was when she and her brother moved in with her dad because their mom had to find a job in another country.

Being in a completely new environment was like a shock to her. She is someone who can adapt quickly, but this time was different.

It was the first time she was bullied for being a outsider and she still couldn't understand why. Her anxiety increased quickly in just a span of months. She put very hard pressure on herself when it came to her studies and ignored some whispers that were told behind her back. She had convinced herself that it didn't bother her, but one day, when her brother arrived back from school and asked once wrong, she finally told him all her frustrations and wanted to be with mom since city life isn't for her and she missed her despite talking on the phone with her almost everyday.

Unfortunately at this time their dad started dating a woman and Sophia felt really bad for not liking her. Her name was/is Gwen and she really was/is a lovely person.

Few trips to a psychologist and she understood why she felt strange. She finally has courage to tell her dad about it and he suggested that maybe all they need is to spend some time together. So they did, but not like most people would think.

Gwen was/is a fencing teacher and through that they bonded. And Sophia found a skill she never knew she would be good at.
