~Prologue~

Born in a family who love the outdoors, Peter Samuels been given his first bow and arrow when he was 8 years old.

His father, a former army vet, taught him how to clean a gun at 9 years old and would occasionally take him hunting, where he learned how to fire a gun, the basics of how to stay camouflaged in the woods, and survival techniques that could benefit him while his mother was a reporter for the WABE, working alongside a woman named Carley, a family friend who Peter saw as a role model and a second mother to him.

Taking all of what he learned to heart, Peter would study every day and strive to be the best, not just in hunting and survival, but also in everyday life.

At 10 years old, Peter would have 5 years of experience, but when the walkers rose and started attacking his off-grid house. Peter geared up with a rifle, a pistol, and a hatchet to find his family, but he would find them being torn apart and eaten alive by the walkers.

Devastated by his family's murder, Peter escaped with the essential tools for survival, got on his bike and rode to Macon, where he's sure he could find Carley and some survivors like him.

Peter eventually did make it to his hometown, but he found it deserted. While he was fighting walkers one day, a guy and a familiar face helped him and took him into this abandoned pharmacy.

Peter would reunite with Carley as the two would share a special bond, but he would also meet an Air Force veteran of a bitch named Lilly, an old douchebag named Larry, a tech guy named Doug, and one former pizza delivery guy named Glenn.

Peter would soon try to get along with them, but Larry would start bitching and moaning about letting Peter into the group, where Samuels would immediately put his arguments to rest, but little did Peter know, things were going to be more complicated than he thought.

I wanna make something very evidentially and bottom of the line clear that I have no desire to do any smut in this book or this series, nor do I wanna sexualize Clementine in any way because, to me, the authors who sexualize her later on in their stories should be sentenced to a century of Chinese Water Torture...

...especially when they could be over 18 and thought that would be a great idea to do smut and sexualize Clementine in that manner.

I really don't wanna do that because I don't wanna be seen as the next Jared Fogel where instead of promoting Subway, he's promoting his six incher to kids.

Also, in my original bio for this future book, I had Clementine as the love interest, considering that she's the classic, but because of what I just stated, I have no plans to have her as the love interest, mainly because the last time I did a TWD, people were DEMANDING me to make Clementine be the love interest, over and over again and shoving it down my throat, leading me to cancel that plan entirely and never to happen again.

So that kinda ruined the entire plan to have her as the love interest, so who I'm gonna choose is from the third/fourth season and obviously, I won't be giving away who it is because I wanna wait until we get to that point.
