~Story~

Born in Dongnae, Yeongnam, Kang Do-Hyun grew near Lee Chang of the Joseon kingdom, being childhood friends and having fun whenever they had the chance.

One day, when they were grown up, Do-Hyun joined the military as Lee Chang allowed him to join, but to serve him as a bodyguard for him, meeting up one of Lee's mentors, Mu-Yeong.

For the next 20 years, Do-Hyun, Mu-Yeong, and Lee had stayed together, going all out in a few wars, but nothing out of the ordinary until Lee had received word that his father, King of Joseon had died due to smallpox.

Feeling the need to come home, Lee, Mu-Yeong, and Do-Hyun requested to see him, but to no avail.

However, when the three reached the clinic of Physician Lee, the doctor who was to treat Lee's father, they saw that every patient had died due to a mysterious disease, but the only survivor to get out of it was a physician named Seo-Bi.

The four would get to know each other and they start to help each other with the disease, but the dead start to rise at night and kill almost every single poor man, woman, and child, saving whoever they could find.

Soon after, while looking for a cure to the mysterious disease that brought the dead back to life, Seo-Bi starts to find Do-Hyun attractive for some reason. How does Do-Hyun react?
