~Story~

Growing up in the projects, Eddie has seen it all: junkies, alcoholics, and thugs. His mother wanted what was best for him as he knew about the kind of lifestyle, but never participated because of his father's involvement in it, resulting in being murdered by a rival gang.

His death had hit Eddie hard and promised to not be a part of gangs, but participated in sports like baseball, basketball, football, and amateur wrestling to keep away from the lifestyle he grew up around.

Soon after graduating from high school, Eddie was an NCAA football player, where he earned the title "Rookie of The Year" by sports critics alike.

Soon after his award, he suffered an ACL injury that ended his career as a Linebacker for the Florida Gators, but that didn't stop him. Eddie signed a developmental deal with NXT where Luciano was trained and had a successful stint in the ring, under the ring name, "Eddie Luca", impressing audiences with his athleticism and talent, but he felt limited in his wrestling abilities and requested his release, which the company granted him.

In the indies, Eddie reinvented himself, going back to his roots of Puerto Rico, joining a woman who would not only be his mentor, she would be the older sister figure he never had, Jazmin Benitez, better known as Mercedes Martinez.

The two would team up in the indies going by the name of Puerto Rican Invasion, or PRI, making an example of how they can work in the indies and while they didn't have the best chemistry, the cult following they would have made them better.

On the side, Jazmin would mentor Eddie and teach him how the independent scene wasn't as easy at it looked, forcing each other to room together on the road, going from town to town, showing out and giving the fans a match they could remember.

At one point, Eddie would soon get the call from one of his idols growing up, the legend Konnan as he offered to help Luciano sign with TNA and reform LAX, which Eddie soon accepted as he and Jazmin parted ways, exchanging numbers and information if they wanted to team up again at some point.

Soon, Eddie would join Santana, Homicide (Nelson Eraza), Ortiz, and Diamanté in IMPACT!, where, on his first night after signing, he won the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship from James Storm, whom he earned the respect from the veteran in the back.

For a year, alongside his childhood friends Santana and Ortiz, Luciano held his own against Sami Calihan, EC3, Eddie Edwards, and Moose, winning the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship three times and winning the tag team championship with Nelson, but one day he lost the World title to Sami Calihan, walking out of the company after finding out the co-owner, Dixie Carter, had been very racist towards Eddie.

Konnan, his new father figure, tried to help him and console him, but Eddie didn't want anything to do with Impact Wrestling. He stayed in touch with his best friends, but Eddie never returned to the company ever again.

In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Eddie would answer the question of returning to IMPACT, in a very honest and brutal manner,

"Why the flying fuck would I wanna go back? That stupid fucking bitch, Dixie Carter, who doesn't know shit about wrestling, trying to put her two cents in, had to make it a very hostile environment for me by calling me the s-slur [spic] and many other names she could think of behind my fucking back while trying to push me down the card just because I'm a New York Puerto Rican.

You don't believe me? When was the last time she wanted me to leave? She wanted me to drop the World title due to 'unprofessional conduct' and complaints of the wrestlers that I was being too rough on them or something like that.

Why don't these issues ever pop up when I'm not backstage? I mean, I'm not, like, at the show on some days of the year. None of that ever happens except when I'm starting to gain momentum and I'm starting to be liked again as the spokesperson for LAX, I'm starting to get popular, and then she goes, 'Hey, we need to stop him! This, this s-slur, he's getting too much popularity, too much attention away from our product! We have to drag him down the card, we have to take him off TV and be done with him!'

Dixie thought I wasn't going to speak out about how much of a racist piece of shit she is? I mean, the only reason she got the company is because of her daddy, that's it. Like, if you think you know some things about wrestling and you think you're some fuckin' big shot, then you must be the female Vince Russo from the way you handled things in the company.

Dixie was on speedrun to be one of the most hated figures in all of pro wrestling and she did a damn good job of it because I will never go back to the company, even if they paid me for a fucking appearance or some shit! Konnan even tried to convince me to come back and he was really upset about whole the situation. He was, you know, in my corner, outraged by the actions Dixie had done to my career, but I wanted none of it. Like, ask K-Dogg and he'll talk about what went on and he'll give you the same exact answer.

I'm pretty sure Dixie's laughing at what I'm saying about her because she claims to have rights around here in her own mind and it's fucking disgusting.

I know this is gonna sound controversial but guys, I'm sorry, if I meet Dixie anywhere for the first time since late 2018, I'm gonna take a shovel and bury that fucking bitch! I'll use that goddamn shovel! She's a waste of human flesh and she doesn't deserve to be on this earth! If the cops wanna arrest me since I just said this, they can go ahead and fucking cuff me right now! I don't give a fuck!

By the time Dixie is dead, I'm gonna have a smile on my face and a boner in my pants as I piss on her fucking grave! I guarantee it. You want an answer for my 'return' to IMPACT Wrestling? There you go!"

This response got heaps of praise from fans and even some notable wrestlers who supported Eddie during his time with the company, including former WWE Wrestler Kairi Sane, who had her fair share of racism against her, stating,

"You tell them, Eddie!"

After leaving IMPACT, Eddie decided to try his luck with Japan, which turned out to be great for him as he would win Championships throughout the country and studying his Japanese however he could.

Throughout his career, Eddie main evented arenas for Pro Wrestling NOAH, Ring of Honor, and Pro Wrestling Freedoms, especially if there are hardcore wrestling matches, which he perfected by using his favorite weapon of all time: the fork.

Eddie would use the fork on his opponents' heads by stabbing and moving it around while gouging earlobes with it, causing many of his opponents to bleed, but they reassured him that they would be fine since they already have enough scars on their bodies to tell a story about their career.

At one point, during a Japanese Indie wrestling show, Eddie would meet Sari Fujimura, best known as Sarree, where they became really close friends to the point whenever they posted pictures on social media as they hang out, fans think they'd be dating, even though they weren't.

Along the way, the two would win the Pro Wrestling Freedoms Tag Team Champions on two separate occasions while Eddie had become a two time GHC World Heavyweight Champion on two different occasions as well.

The two eventually went their separate ways to focus on their careers, but the two actually wouldn't lose touch. They would exchange numbers so that way they wouldn't forget about each other.

After Eddie learned his best friend was signed to NXT, he followed suit soon after a month.

Eddie asked Hunter to be signed to NXT after his contract with Pro Wrestling Freedoms expired, which HHH agreed and Eddie was signed after, where he reunited with his best friend Sari, after he learned she was in a match against Candice LeRae with Johnny on the outside.

After Sari's match with Candice, Eddie came in from the corner in the back, surprising her as the two finally reunite after a year and a half.

After the show, Sari and Eddie catch up after a long time, but soon after their reunion, Eddie starts to fall for his best friend, even though he's a gaijin to Sari.

The question is, does she feel the same as him?

(A/N: Although I already have this story out, "Warriors Of The Sun", keep in mind, this is for a remake of that story. I didn't like where I was heading with it originally, so I decided to plan a remake of it in the future where the booking makes a bit more sense as I try to tell an actual story.

If you noticed some changes, then good because that's what the remake is going to have. I do hope you liked it though!)
