Bio:

Born in a very poor family from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Arayan James has had a rough childhood, his father died when he was 5, and his mother was a professional chef, looking to carry on the legacy that her mother had left behind.

Taking up a profession in the culinary field for a six month program at culinary school while learning from his mom, James managed to earn the right to own a wok that was passed down from his grandmother, to his own mother, and now to him.

While being a successful chef in Malaysia, Arayan also became fascinated with pro wrestling, as well as a shoot fighting and the technical style of wrestling. So, while being a part time chef, James learned MMA first before getting into the ring, being taught how to strike and take down opponents before going to Japan to learn how to actually wrestle.

Being taught by the best technical wrestlers in the world, James honed his own craft of shoot fighting, combined with the technical skills in terms of wrestling by being mentored by Minoru Suzuki, earning a place in Suzuki-Gun after they learned that not only is he a very good wrestler, he's also a professionally trained chef.

During his time in NJPW, Arayan went under his real name, racking up wins while showing off his skills as a wrestler, earning the IWGP Intercontinental Title on three occasions.

After leaving New Japan and Suzuki-Gun, Arayan had went to Europe, signing with ICW, showing that he can go extreme in regards to hardcore wrestling, winning the ICW World Championship on three occasions before going to Revolution Pro Wrestling, where he was also a three time Champion with the Undisputed British Heavyweight Title.

Despite all the success of Arayan's career, everyone from NJPW to the European indie circuit had praised James for not just being professional, but always having a great attitude behind the scenes. Will Osprey, in fact, had said in an interview, regarding James' professionalism,

"Arayan James is one of the guys I'd work with again and I'll never get tired of it. He's so professional, and he would go out of his way to make sure that not only every spot in every match we had together was solid and on point for delivering to audience, but he would make sure that either of us weren't injured, whether it's rehearsal or in the middle of show. I love the guy. I think everyone does too."

Other wrestlers had praised Arayan for going out of his way to keep the locker room, both male and female were happy to work with him. Jayme Hayter had said about James,

"If there was one person I'd rather wrestle for any mixed gender matches, it'd be Arayan. He's just so down-to-earth that he would go out of his way to make us women wrestlers feel comfortable to work at RevPro. He is a gem, a sweetheart."

It wasn't just NJPW and the European indie circuit that showed appreciation to James, it was all of NXT, from the roster, to the officials, to Triple H himself who said,

"Arayan is the kinda guy that makes sure that everything is all laid out. Whenever he was told to do something ridiculous, he'd do it with a smile and always had a great attitude: show up to work, make some money, give him a hamburger and soda, and he's cool. Happy to work with everyone. I've seen it with some of my boys and girls, but Arayan has that edge to convince myself to give the title to him after a year in NXT."

And that's exactly what happened: in a ladder match for the NXT Championship, at NXT Stand and Deliver, Arayan would win it, getting heaps of congrats by his friends.

All of the praise from every company he'd worked for never went to his head as Arayan would show his good-hearted side, any fan he comes across, he would never turn them down for a picture, showing his appreciation for the fans' support.

When he lost the title to Bron Breakker at Halloween Havoc, he'd show up at WWE: Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, costing the OC the win while joining Judgement Day in the process, becoming their leader.

Backstage after the match, he introduces himself to everyone, especially an Australian cutie named Demi Bennett or Rhea Ripley.

Arayan finds her so adorable that he would tease her whenever he could, but how does she feel about him?

~Excerpt~

Since I made the plan to invite everyone from Judgement Day to my place so I could get to know them and build a little chemistry, you know? I really want to know them so I can grasp an idea of what they're like.

Also, they did say that I can cook whatever I want, so I'm gonna cook a homemade dish that I grew up eating so much: Malaysian Egg Fried Rice. I'm also going to be cooking outside just to make my new friends feel very comfortable, but I won't be cooking until they arrive since this dish only takes 5 minutes to cook.

Then, I heard my doorbell rang and they arrived as I greeted them at my door.

Me: Hai kawan! (Hey guys!)

Fergal: What's up, man!

Priest: How you doing, man!

Dominick: Hey!

Demi: Hey!

Me: Come on in, guys, I was just about to start cooking!

Fergal: Wow!

They all walked in and they seemed to admire my place. I've been able to learn how to live in the US for sometime thanks to a couple of friends.

Damian: This is a nice place, man.

Demi: I agree, this is brilliant.

Me: Thanks. I've been wanting to try living in America and see how it is. And so far, this house has served my purpose. Come on, take a seat while I get cooking.

Dominick: Sure, yeah.

They all got seated until Demi walked towards me. Is she wanting to see me cook?

Demi: So you're a cook?

Me: Been cooking my whole life, kekasih. I run my restaurant Kasih Ibu in Orlando.

Demi: What does "Kasih Ibu" mean?

Me: Mother's Love. She cooked out of love when I was younger and I want to show my appreciation for everything she did for me.

Demi: Ah, that makes sense. What are you gonna be cooking?

Me: My version of Malaysian fried rice. This dish is so common that it's what I grew up eating as a kid. The ingredients are very simple.

I showed her the ingredients as she got interested in what I have in mind...

Me: We have green and red chili peppers...

...they've been diced into small pieces and I kept the seeds in because they smell amazing with the rice.

Demi: Why not take out the seeds?

Me: Well, we do, but for restaurant reasons. We take them out because the dish wouldn't look that pretty if we added them, and since this is a home cooked meal, it's okay to leave the seeds in because these peppers are not spicy at all. For protein, I have chicken thigh...

...that's been cooked the day before and I didn't season it because the rice is going to have all that seasoning embedded into the chicken.

I started slicing and dicing the chicken into very small bite size pieces, almost to the point that it's the same size as the rice.

Demi: How come you didn't use chicken breast, Arayan?

Me: Let's say the chicken breast always lack texture and come out very dry. Whereas the thigh, it comes out more juicy and tender so you get that nice texture when you bite into it. It almost melts in your mouth when you bite into it.

After I diced the chicken into those pieces, I set them aside in a little bowl.

Me: For aromatics, I have some garlic...

...and some shallots.

Shallots and garlic are very common in Asia, not just in my home country, so this is actually a nice touch to make sure that the rice comes out very tasty.

I diced the shallots up and pounded and minced the garlic cloves, set them aside on a little plate as I continued with the prepping.

Me: Now, whereas rice Demi, this rice...

...it's been cooked in a rice cooker because that's how Malaysians do it, and it's been left overnight to chill and it becomes less sticky, but for this one, I left the rice uncovered so it can't stick together.

Demi: We can't eat that, then.

Me: Hey, it's no problem. All we have to do is add some salt to prevent it from spoiling and we mix it around long enough for it to make the rice stand out as an individual grain, which will prevent it from clumping up in the wok. For the eggs, I'm gonna be using two...

...and two egg yolks and keeping the whites in the other, so that gets a lot more protein and more fat that will be delivered into the rice.

Demi: That's actually good, I like that.

I then cracked the eggs on a very flat surface, put the eggs into one bowl and stirred them in a very fast paste, making sure that I see it in a very thick liquid, but I wasn't done.

After stirring the yolks, I got out a colander to drain the egg yolks into another bowl.

Demi: A colander? Why would you use that?

Me: It's to get rid of the egg whites and to make it all more liquidy. You don't want to have egg whites in your rice because it would be a habit to have when cooking this dish. Also, using a colander for egg is fine, I just don't recommend using it for draining the rice after cooking it.

I then brought out...

Me: Spring onion, garnish.

I diced the green onion into small size pieces and put them in a bowl to save.

Demi: Anything else?

Me: Yes and this right here is Sambal Belecan...

...this is a chilli paste, it's in every Malaysian household and always used with fried rice. You mind helping me with bringing the ingredients?

Demi: Yeah, sure.

After some time, we brought the ingredients to my outdoor station and I got started.

Me: While the wok is heating up, I like to add my seasoning to the rice, which, you can admit, it saves time.

Demi: Ooh, that's good.

I added the Sambal Belacan to the rice as I heated up my family wok and the flames were doing the work for me.

Demi: Isn't this an old pan?

Me: It's not just any old pan, Demi, this is a very pre-seasoned wok. It's been passed down in my family, from my grandmother, to my mother, and now to me. And see this flame? This is how you get the wok hei, or the breath of the wok.

I added avocado oil to the pain before it became a liquid and I poured it out before adding new oil.

Me: Okay, now, we begin cooking. We add our aromatics.

I added the shallots and garlic and stirred them around with a wooden spatula until they got to smelling so nice.

Me: Protein, chicken thigh.

Demi took the thigh and put it into the wok as I kept stirring around until I grabbed the eggs.

Me: Eggs go in.

I poured the eggs in and started stirring all this in until I put the peppers in the wok and stirred them as well.

Me: Now, the rice goes in.

I grabbed the Sambal Belecan covered rice and put the rice in as I grabbed some more oil and into the wok.

I started to stir-fry everything in it by bouncing everything around in there.

As I stir-fried this rice, I'm making sure that everything doesn't clump up in a huge lump. I wanted every grain of rice as an individual grain.

After that, I added some soy sauce into my ladle, splashed it onto the side of the wok while stir frying it.

After some time with the stir fry, I added the spring onion into the rice, stir fried it for one minute and it was done.

Me: And we're done!
